Trained at the University of Illinois, where he received his

Bachelor of Science,

Master of Science, and

Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees, followed by

Graduate Certification in Orthodontics

Dr. Wakerlin’s sons, Randy and Dean, each graduated from Wheaton-​Warrenville South High School. An active church member, he has additional interest in sound engineering, serves as the Board Secretary for The Orion Ensemble (a professional chamber ensemble), and is President of his homeowner and business condominium boards.
