Welcome to Wheaton Orthodontics

the orthodontic specialty practice of Dr. David Allen. We provide orthodontic braces for children and adults. Wheaton Orthodontic Center is committed to excellence in attaining our orthodontic results. Equally as important, we are committed to the creation of an environment that is open, friendly and a fun place to be. When someone leaves our office, we want them to feel better about themselves. We dedicate our time, talents and energy to this objective.

Wheaton Orthodontic Center utilizes the Damon Brace System. Damon brace smiles are full, natural 10-​tooth smiles achieved with light biologically-​sensible forces, without the use palatal expanders or headgear.

Dr David Allen is also a certified Invisalign® and Invisalign Teen ® provider. Invisalign® treatment is a technique that straightens your teeth without braces, using a series of clear, removable aligners that are custom-​modeled to fit your teeth.

Business Owner

Dr. Allen graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago in 1981. He started a general dental practice in St. Louis, Missouri and practiced there as a general dentist for 9 years. In 1990, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky, entering a 2 year masters program in the specialty field of orthodontics. Dr. David Allen received his Master of Orthodontics from the University of Louisville in 1992, and now specializes in Orthodontics exclusively.

As the founder of Wheaton Orthodontic Center, in Wheaton Illinois, Dr. David Allen believes in reaching beyond his credentials by constantly updating his knowledge and skill through research and continuing education. He participates in and hosts numerous lectures and academic programs for doctors, clinical technicians and clerical staff, keeping pace with the most current advances in patient care.

Dr. David Allen has worked with the Damon Brace System for over 10 years and is a Premier Invisalign Provider.
