I’ve found lots of cute recycled gifts here! I currently have one of their flattened absolut vodka bottles as the spoon rack on my stove, and a pair of scrabble earrings on my dresser. They also have really cool record bowls, which everyone loves. My only complaint is that they keep changing their store location! The last location was facing the busy Wheaton Main St, and now they are behind their old store, still visible from Main St but the entrance is off of the alley there. At least they’re still around! It’s nice to see that a fun business like this is surviving in a recession. Thanks Xristina!

Umm, i thought this store closed… But i’ve been there before and it’s really cute. It has all these quirky little recyled kniknacks, as well as cute bags and jewelry. You probably wont like everything in the store, but theres sure to be something you love inside.

Their Main Retail Showroom is officially closed. They are in the works to open their Studio for retail sometime around October. In the meantime, please be sure to visit their Website( ) and Etsy Store( ).

I love, love this little shop in Wheaton. It’s a breath of fresh air and unlike anything I’ve found in the immediate area. The owner and people working there are always incredibly friendly without being at all pushy. Although the style of clothes might not fit everyone’s style, it will fit certain people’s styles perfectly. Aside from clothing there are so many unique things including purses, jewelry, vintage photos/cards, and great bags(like the tie-dyed one I bought for $ 20 — reversible, adorable and gets a ton of compliments). It’s so fun to shop and feel good about it at the same time – it’s absolutely worth checking out when in downtown Wheaton.

Other reviews have hit on some of the things to find here. I was looking for something unusual for my Dad, so this was perfect(I got a notepad made out of recycled floppies) I know the owner brings in some things(like the license plate purses) but they also make some of the things(like the necktie skirts). Occasionally, there are little potted plants to go. Much of the jewelry would make a great gift; my favorite were the typewriter key bracelets. Their website is pretty good at giving you an idea of what to find. Look there first if you want to run in and pick up a quick gift. Or if you have a sunny summer afternoon, go and browse, and then go around the block for some ice cream.

I know that it’s so cool and trendy to be eco-concious, but there are more fashionable ways to show the trends. I do think it’s awesome the Xristinas items are handmade and fairtrade, but those wrapper purses? I’m sorry, maybe I’m being a snob but if you consider yourself somewhat chic this is not your place to shop. If you love recycled do-dads are a bit hippy dippy maybe you’ll be more impressed than I was but I just found the shop a bit odd. She sells items you can find cheaper somewhere else.

If you like Fair Trade, green and vintage — roll it into a ball and this is your shop. Coffee, tea cups, handmade and more.

Quirky little store, quirky little owner, great experience. This place sells interesting little … fashion … knick-knacky things. Most, if not all, are«recycled» items that had a previous life as something else. My kids favorite are the old vinyl records warped into chip bowls.(The kids don’t even know what records are — go figure!) Love this concept. The owner, Xristina Rahn is bubbly and helpful. You will want to buy something from this store if only as a keepsake to remember it by.
