Your «Speech-to-Text Experts» in realtime court reporting, Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART), and captioning. Efficiency Reporting provides onsite and remote CART-captioning of business meetings, employee training, and professional conferences — locally/nationally/internationally. Our certified CART and Broadcast Captioners facilitate communication access for individuals who are deaf/hard of hearing or speak English as a second language. We provide CART in academic venues, such as class lectures and campus performances; as well as in recreational settings such as weddings, memorial services, banquets/galas, and performing arts productions. Be proactive in providing access to people with disabilities: We can help you with post-production captioning of videos for full inclusion of people with hearing loss.
History
Established in 1981.
Efficiency Reporting has provided Certified Shorthand Reporting of depositions, trials, arbitrations, and hearings since 1981. We expanded our business, implementing new technologies, into Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) in 1991, to provide communication access to people with hearing loss, who speak English as a second language, or who have other communication access disabilities. Further developing skills and broadening our services, be began providing closed captioning services, onsite as well as remotely for television broadcast, in 2005. CART and captioning are services provided as an accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act to facilitate communication access.

Business Owner
Catherine is the owner of Efficiency Reporting in Wheaton, Illinois. Catherine has provided CART for a variety of people, from students to professionals, local residents to global celebrities; from individuals to all kinds and sizes of groups; via onsite and remote technologies; and throughout the Chicagoland area, nationally, and internationally. Over her career to date Catherine set and achieved the goals of obtaining her CSR license;
professional certifications including RPR, RMR, RDR, CRR, CCP and CBC; and her B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Business Management with minors in Leadership and
Conflict Resolution. Life-long-learning, social responsibility and equity, civility and kindness are considered by Catherine to be more than values to
be held, they are duties to be performed.
