Best Way Rug & Furniture Cleaners

My mother brought in a high quality, however old, pet stained wool oriental carpet last month. The only noticeable damage was to some of the tassels being frayed and the obvious old stains upon flipping it over. The only good thing I can say is that they do everything very quickly. Other than that our experience was very poor.
They were kind in the office and took it back right away.
The rug was ready for pickup in just 48hrs, however upon opening it at home the tassels had been ripped away from the carpet along one entire side, which was quite obviously not present at all prior. The tassels were also extremely dirty, where all the dirt that was released from the carpet was allowed to soak into the tassels while hanging.
We called expecting some forthwith apologies and a simple fixing of the torn area and it certainly wouldn’t have been difficult to clean the tassels.
Instead we received quite the opposite. No responsibility taken on their part. They would not do anything for the damage they had done or the incomplete job. The office manager, possibly the only woman there, asked us for proof. Proof that our rug wasn’t ripped along an entire side when we brought it in? How about both my mom, myself, this woman, and two other men as eye witnesses that examined and measured the rug together? However after that period of 48 hrs their memories must have been wiped clean, they would not tell the truth.
They left my mom with no other option other than to bring the rug back in and pay for the further work, not to even split the cost of slicing off the tassels and binding the ends.
After receiving the rug back from that, the rug no longer lays flat and has bumps, as it must not have been cut completely even.
We will never use them or recommend them to anyone, other than to be avoided.

My invoice is dated 08÷14÷14. #175 217. My address in Naperville is clearly listed. The fee was $ 120 not $ 125 my mistake. I find it hard to believe that you could not locate this.
I also find it hard to believe that a business refuses to listen to its customer when they tell you that their rug was not cleaned. I’m not an idiot. I’ve had carpets cleaned before. I’ve treated pet stains myself in the past. I am a homeowner, for over 30 years. I have contracted with rug cleaners on many, many occasions. Your store did not clean my rug. Period. It looked exactly like it did when I dropped it off. Dirty. It was not cleaned. period. Regardless of the pet urine stain that still looked fresh and reeked like urine. No, it was not treated. I know a treated stain from a fresh one. Especially urine. How about you think outside of your box that a mistake could have possibly been made while you were busy talking on the phone and not greeting your customers. And I DID poke my head in the back after being ignored by you. There was no one there. I even walked around and called out. Hello? Hello?
Yes, there is more you could have done. How about an apology. How about, the customer is always right? How about offering to come pick up my rug, clean it this time, and deliver it? That would have worked. How about offering a refund? How about asking, What can I do to make this right?
You are a arrogant, condescending asshole who thinks he’s always right, and treats his customers like they should be grateful you are on this earth. Please. There are other carpet cleaners. You clearly are not special. Your response to my review (which never would have happened if my complaint was met with satisfactorily) just reconfirms my opinion that I would never do business with you again. Please remember the first rule of Marketing. A happy customer will tell 4 people, an unhappy one will tell 10. And believe me, I have told this story to at least that many!

Today was the first time I called Best Way regarding their furniture cleaning services. Although my family room pieces are fairly new and unstained; my plan was to look into freshening them up a little.
Joe took some time to outline the process and I was really pleased at the price! He also assured me that he could accommodate my schedule, which I really appreciate, because I don’t always have a lot of lead time where work is concerned. The other thing that was a non negotiable for me was to have all pieces well vacuumed; we are talking 360 degrees worth of suction; we are talking squeaky clean!
I have had pretty good success with the carpet work from Best Way; so I’m pretty confident the furniture was look just as good. Stay tuned.

I have a 100% wool rug that had never been professionally cleaned. My puppy had an accident on it and I needed it cleaned right away. Best Way was able to accomodate me on short notice — I dropped the rug off on Wednesday afternoon and it was ready on Friday. The rug has never looked better, the staff was very professional and cost was reasonable. I look forward to using their services again and I’m happy to highly recommend them!

The carpet at my company office had gotten destroyed over the past year. Between customers and employees coming in and out, there was a visible track from the front door to the back. Two employees from Best Way came out after hours and cleaned our carpets while I waited. They were courteous and even touched up a couple spots in an extra room for no extra cost. I will definitely be calling them in a year to do it all over again!

I had an oriental rug that had the misfortune of having Mio splashed on it. After reading that there was NO way to remove this stain I rolled it up (and it’s matching partner) and took both rugs to Best Way on a Tuesday morning. They were extremely professional and knowledgable. I brought in the products that I used in attempting to remove the stain and they researched them to find out the pH of what was used. While not able to remove the stain completely it was lightened considerably. I think you have to be reasonable as to what you can expect these guys to do. But on the plus side both my carpets were MORE vibrant and soft after cleaning. As an added bonus they had them ready for pick-​up on Friday as I had told them we had party. This is the second time I’ve used them (first time was with a braided rug that my kid threw up on – YUCK!) I would definitely recommend Best Way to anyone who asked and I know that everyone in the area uses them as well. Keep up the good work! PS the two dogs there are great ambassadors as well!

Vulgar business manager… My dog soiled on my six month old, barely walked on, 9×12 wool oriental rug. Best way recommended that the rug be taken to their facility and have the entire new rug washed. The rug was returned today, and the dog– soiled area is unchanged. But even more alarming is the remainder of the new carpet now appears older, discolored, and the colors less vibrant. When I called to report my disappointment and concerns in a calm manner, the manager was abrupt, angry, and vulgar. He proceeded to call me «pain in a…» and it’s my problem «my dog pis… and sh… all over the rug»…“and I better pay my bill!!!” (in fact, I had already paid and never threatened to not pay)
I sensed that this wasn’t the first time he treated a customer so inappropriately. In all my years I’ve never been treated so rudely and would NEVER recommend this cleaning agency again.

I had 4 huge nice wool rugs I needed cleaned. Two friendly Best Way employees came out, moved all the furniture and collected the rugs. They returned the rugs a week later and they look brand new again. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service and quality of work. They we even made sure all my furniture was placed back just how I like it. I will definitely use them again.
