Dan the Window Man

As new homeowners of an old house, my husband and I were in the market to update our rickety basement windows. We called three window installation companies in the Denver Metro area last winter to receive a bid. One company told me the job was too small for him to make a profit. The second company never returned our call. Fortunately, Dan the Window Man’s company not only responded promptly to our request, but Dan was able to come out within a day to give us a good/​better/​best estimate on basement window types. He didn’t pressure us to go with his company but made clear that if we went with them, his business would do its utmost to complete the project quickly, efficiently, and for a reasonable price.
Dan the Window Man was good for his word. We ordered the windows and scheduled the installation a couple of months later, and his installers arrived on time, removed our old windows and installed our news ones within the time frame agreed upon, and managed to be courteous and friendly throughout the process. I have already recommended this business to friends in the market for window installation. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service and integrity as a business, Dan the Window Man!

We had Dan’s crew install 8 windows and a sliding door over the last two days and could not be happier with them! The crew was friendly and efficient and made sure everything was in order for us. Dan has great prices and I appreciated that he gave us quotes for all brands not just one. The home is so much cooler and quieter now! Definitely worth the investment.

I had Dan the Window Man give us a bid for our Victorian house in the Highlands neighborhood. Some of windows dated back to 1895 with the original wavy glass! I really liked that Dan gave us a good-​better-​best quote so we could choose the quality and price that worked for us. His prices were clearly better than any of our other bids. The installation was flawless and very professional. We LOVE our new windows. And one benefit we didn’t even realize is how quiet the house is now without all the street noise! I am already seeing a drop in our utility bills. Great company, trustworthy and professional businessman, unbeatable prices. Two thumbs up!

I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with this company, Dan the Window Man. I wanted to work with a small business and selected Dan to provide and install 3 bedroom windows. The problem was the 2 men he chose to do the installation. I do not believe they were employed by Dan, but laborers, nor were they qualified or experienced to do the work. They both were very dirty, smelled like they had been drinking and did a horrible job with the fit and caulking on the windows. (Every one of them look terrible!)
I called the man in the office and he sent Dan out the next day. Dan tried to wipe caulk off and fix things a bit, but overall it was still terrible. Dan cared less that I was unhappy with the result of the work. He did not offer any other solution to make the windows look better and did not offer any discount for my dissatisfaction. I will never ever use this company again and I have a whole house of windows to install. Run from this company!

This company came out to complete a free bid and never called me back afterwards. This leads me to believe my job wasn’t important enough or this company doesn’t manage their potential customers effectively.

My wife and I recently had 3 windows and a patio door installed by Dan. From the beginning, Dan was very professional and spent the time with us discussing various styles and quality of windows. Dan was not pushy like other window companies, a real pleasure to do business with and his prices were reasonable. His installers were top notch and did a fantastic job of installing the windows and patio door, professionally done! I will certainly use Dan and his installers again for additional windows in the spring. I would not hesitate in recommending Dan and his team for all your window needs.

I have had Dan, the Window Man put in three windows and a patio door at a rental and my husband has used them to put a window in at another rental. They are prompt, courteous, proficient and do excellent work. We had a problem with the sliding patio door not closing easily. They came out right away and adjusted it so it is working perfectly. Their prices are reasonable and their work top notch!

Dan the Window man does a great job at a great price.
There are some jobs he won’t do with windows, but the ones he can are well priced and well done.

I have known Dan and used him to supply and install windows for my customers for 16 years. He continually researches window technology. I find Dan to be informative and constantly searching for the correct windows to fit the customers needs and budget.
Dan communicates well and his service and follow up are excellent.

If I could give Dan 10 stars I totally would. From running out in a snowstorm to measure my windows about an hour after I called him, to his super nice, professional and efficient crew… our whole window replacement experience was a pleasure.
Dan suggested several ways that we could cut costs, and also came up with a brilliant way to best fit an awkward space.
We are so happy with the results, they really changed our home for the better, and I know we will definitely recoup the costs when we resell someday.

We called on Dan a few weeks ago and he made time in his schedule to come out on a Saturday morning to visit with us. He asked many questions and took measurements for what we wanted. The following week our windows were in and his team came out to install. They were on-​time, efficient, and did a wonderful job. Our home was left clean and we love our new windows.
