Specialties

Cypress Arboriculture specializes in conscious, science-based, ethical arboriculture. Pruning, diagnosis, construction damage mitigation plans, arborist’s reports, removals, planting, consultation and plant health care recommendations are all within our scope of work. Cypress also offers rigging services for things like ziplines, tree houses and aerial performance. Describe your project and let’s figure out a way to make it happen!

Charlie Adams is a Certified Arborist and Climber Specialist as well as a Level 1 SPRAT Rope Access technician. He cross trains in diverse climbing and rigging disciplines, and applies these skills creatively to execute safe, unique, technical rigging plans.

History

Established in 2012.

Founded in 2012, Cypress Arboriculture is the culmination of a dream of independence — the ability to provide service at the highest level without tree work’s common production focus.

I am an ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Tree Worker with 6 years of experience in the Front Range. I also carry SPRAT’s level-1 certification for rope-access work.

Meet the Business Owner

Charlie A.

Business Owner

I’m an Intermountain West native and die hard — I was born in Wyoming, raised in Montana and Colorado and attended college in Arizona. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Northern Arizona University where I fed an abiding love of nature, working summers for the Forest Service in range management and then fire suppression. Once I got to Denver, the path seemed clear: I continued running chainsaws and playing in the trees with a small tree care company in the southern Front Range. I trained under a number of accomplished arborists and when the time came to step out on my own, I already had a full quiver of skills and aptitudes.

I’m a certified Arborist and Climber Specialist, a member in good standing of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. I’m also a SPRAT rope access technician.

I climb and rig at work, I climb for fun and I care for trees out of passion.
