We offer educational enrichment classes and tutoring for children of all ages and abilities. We are experienced in special needs and tailor all plans to the specific needs of your child.

Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and enriching experience for all children including studies in literacy, art, math and music.

We are Certified in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts, trained in FUNdations literacy program, DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment), Everyday Math program, DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills), and many other programs and assessments.

We have over 5 years experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and many other differing abilities.

History

Established in 2008.

This business was created by Adrienne Dancey, an Elementary School teacher, as a means to address the individual needs of each student. We create a personalized education plan based on assessments and interviews with the student, parent, and teachers is available.

Business Owner

Adrienne owns and is the primary tutor for A Step Ahead Tutoring. She has her degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts from Framingham State University. She is trained in many different types of assessments and tools and is excited to work with new students of all abilities.
