They had a Groupon for mani/​pedi that I purchased. I went in with an appointment (they only take appointment apparently) and was taken to a back room. I thought it was strange that I was getting my mani pedi in a closet sized room. Its literally a storage room, so you’re there only with the person doing your nails there is no one else near you. Not that big of an issue, but I am noticing the lady to my nails number one does not speak english and number two is doing a half-​ass job. Then we get to my toes and once again shes not doing a great job but the groupon was only for 20 $ so I was not trying to complain. Then once I was done I asked where the machine was for me to dry my nails and toes… THEY DON’T HAVE ONE. They asked me to wait in the lobby for my nails/​toes to dry. I’m like what??? So then I ask for the plastic or foam flip flops so that I can at LEAST walk to the lobby without worry of messing them up. and they DID NOT have the flip flops either. They really asked if I could just walk barefoot to lobby. I was so thrown off I didn’t even tip I just left.

So I emailed them with my payment confirmation from my bank for a bundled session of 3 whitenings from last year. We went back and forth by email and phone scheduling me to come in, and they seemed to have no problem with my payment. I was scheduled for a whitening yesterday. I drove nearly 20 miles in traffic to get there, only to hear a million reasons why they can’t do the whitening. New ownership, my payment is not in the system (although I showed proof of payment).
Listen, I’m not asking for free services. These are services I already paid for, and they are telling me I have to pay AGAIN. Could they not have told me this by email or over the phone? They had several opportunities to say something. I shook my head, turned around, and walked out.
Gloria and the previous owners were amazing. But these people. I wouldn’t go back if they sent a chauffeur to pick me up. You just bought a business and this is how you conduct it? Good luck with that.
