Ed Napleton Westmont Porsche Dealership

I would not recommend this dealership. The sales process was horrible and service has not proven much better for such vehicles. Should something go wrong, they are not responsive nor accommodating. When I attempted to resolve my issues with the service manager, he did not even have the courtesy to return phone calls. You spend that much for a vehicle you expect more. I will move on to other dealers to have my vehicle serviced.

Eric and Larry are awesome! Leased one truck from Eric who went above and beyond for us. Then Larry sold us a new truck last year. These guys are very friendly and not pushy. They don’t have to be. Always call to follow up on service appointments and get feedback, whether negative or positive.

We just purchased a vehicle today from Eric Kozuh and had the absolute best experience. Eric’s level of professionalism is great. He exudes warmth and charisma and doesn’t make you feel pressured. This is by far the best purchasing experience ever.

Although I’ve never set foot inside this dealership, I worked with their parts department a few weeks to get an accessory item that was back ordered at Porsche. I got connected with Dave Smith who was, in a word, awesome. He was very helpful on the phone, found the item I needed, and had it shipped to me – for free – the next day. Couldn’t be happier with the process, and notwithstanding the negative reviews about the sales process, will at least stop here first if I’m ever in the market for a Porsche.

Used them few times for oil changes without incident. But recently, tried charging me about $ 170 to diagnose a noise problem but they didn’t do anything to diagnose. He comes back to tell me that the mechanic «thinks» it may be the tire or maybe the bearing. Really? Don’t charge me unless you did due diligence to diagnose the problem (like putting on a spare to rule out tire issue) — mechanic’s «opinion» is worth $ 170 now? I asked why this wasn’t done; hee-​hawing some excuse that the spare tire pressure «may be low». The spare pressure was fine. Just say it wasn’t done and at least maintain some dignity. He then has the nerve to ask me to come back next time so that they can test the tire for extra $ 120. Embarrassing.
Not going back to these clowns– they’re adequate for simple oil changes, nothing more that requires minimal problem solving thought process.

Went here looking to test drive the Cayenne but fell in love with the Macan. Salesman, Kerry was very helpful and knowledgable. Even taught my wife how to drive around corners. Will most likely but one from them as long as the price isn’t jacked up.

This is a terrible dealership to attempt to do business with. The salesmen act like they are doing you a favor by talking to you. They went thru a shake up a few years back when they fired the majority of the sales staff. Now you would have thought that they would have replaced them with professionals, but it looks like the current bunch was recruited from manpower or some day labor pool. All you will find here is the typical sleazy salespeople pushing their inflated prices, buyer beware!

was charged $ 600.00 for oil change.

I have made it a policy to confront establishments in order to reach an agreement, when dissatisfied, rather than resort to public ranting. This will be my first public display of dissatisfaction, having gotten absolutely nowhere with this establishment. I can sum up my experience with Napleton Porsche, Westmont as dishonest, third rate, and overpriced. When I purchased my car from them, I was promised repairs, that they never did and essentially lied to me explaining the repairs couldn’t be done. Their service department charges on average, $ 200 more than other establishments that I feel have a much better reputation, such as Barrington Motor Werks. The staff of Napleton Westmont are not very polished or professional, but they charge like they are. DON’T GO THERE.

This was my first time buying a car by just looking at a picture and from out of state and I couldn’t have been more pleased. As crazy as it may sound, I bought a car (2006 MERCEDES BENZ CLS55 AMG) from out of state at NAPLETON PORSCHE, 201 E Ogden Ave, Westmont, IL 60 559 while I was in Lynnwood, WA by just looking at a picture on their website, without test driving or inspection of any kind and everything went well to my satisfaction. I put all my trust on my salesman Ron Channell by asking a lot of questions and this guy is always available and willing to answer any question I may have had. He explained everything very clearly and he will only tell you the truth no matter what, If he doesn’t have an answer he will try to find it. There were no games or gimmicks and no high pressure sales tactics. .Ron was very pleasant to deal with and very friendly. My sales man Ron Channel was a true gentleman and continued to communicate with me for the entire time — He is super knowledgeable about not just cars but was honest which made it easier for me to trust his judgment. When it came time to do paperwork he was very clear on what I needed to expedite the process. He made the whole thing very painless. I look forward to working with him in the future! I love my new car! I had the chance to communicate with the General Manager Jeff Witham as well and I’m more than impressed which make me to believe that the culture of such professionalism i experienced from my salesman is from the top management as I received from the General manager Jeff Witham. With my experience, this gentleman proved himself to be an exceptional person, respect and value all customers far or near. He was so kind, down to earth and respectful. They even shipped me a set of wheels to my home free of charge. He absolutely treated me as a valued customer.

The problem with a lot of the luxury dealerships are they are right between Oak Brook and Hinsdale, and essentially have a captive audience. I went in to see a Cayenne, and as soon as I said «Cayenne» you’d think I said that I have Ebola — everyone scattered. Finally Chris «helps» me by mentioning that they’re really tough to get, they only have one, etc. Getting a test drive — forget about it. They need a copy of my drivers license, a copy of my insurance declarations, and an appointment. I made the mistake of emailing my insurance info, and now I’m getting continuously spammed by the dealer, despite multiple unsubscribe requests.
By the way, after that I went up to the Porsche dealer in Highland Park, and I asked for a test drive — the salesman just tossed me the keys, without any BS.

Please, do not buy any car from this dealership. Chris who works there as a salesperson is not honest, and do not know anything about business ethics. He does not have any sense of responsibility when doing business with customers. I called them and agreed the price of used BMW 5 series. Then they immediately sent me credit approval form for the deposit. But I told him that before I send deposit please let me know the actual manufacturers production date of vehicle. He promised to do so, but never turned back to me. Next day I called them 6 or 7 times, and every time asked for Chris and every time they give some excuse, that he was busy with customers, he will call me back etc. But unfortunately, he cheated me, he already increased online price 2000 more than first posted price. day after, I called again and at least this time he called me back, and told that they selling car to a different customer.(who offered them high price probably.) At least he could have call me and ask for price increase, he never did that. anyway. One thing i understood that these people, and this dealership is far from business ethics and do not have any idea about customer service. Thanks for reading. I recently purchased my porsche from Napleton. I thought their staff was helpful. My salesperson, Paul Ksiezyc was very good, professional, and not too pushy. Great experience with my first 911. If your considering buying anything high-​end, call Paul at this dealership — class act.

I’ve brought my 06 Cayenne here for service twice and this is the last time. Not only were their oil change prices over $ 100 more expensive than the Orland Park Porsche center, but their summary of service and vehicle inspection is non-​existent. Orland Park gave me a nice breakdown about each point of inspection, fluid levels, next recommended service (brakes) and if they find anything else wrong. Westmont gave me sheet that basically said oil change complete. While waiting, their sales staff comes off as arrogant and eyeball you while you’re waiting for service like you just walked into their home in the middle of family dinner. One guy their with an eastern European or Russian accent is the only one that has any enthusiasm, more than happy to discuss the new models or cars in general.
I’ve never purchased here and I never will, but I can definitely say that if you want to service your Porsche, regardless of model, go to Renneology Motorsports, I think they are in Oak Park. They do everything from tuning performance models to oil changes, their prices are very good and they allow you to bring in your own parts they will install. My second choice is Rizza in Orland Park. I’m never coming back to Westmont again.

I’ve never bought a car from Napleton, but I have had a couple of my cars serviced here for warranty work. Always had a good experience with their service advisers and technicians. Their rates are extremely high though so for out-​of-​warranty stuff, take your car elsewhere. The sales guys are friendly and remember my name even though I’ve yet to buy a car from them.

If I could give zero stars I would. They ripped a hole in my 911’s soft top and refused to repair it. I also concur with one of the other reviews that the fish rots from the head down. Unethical behavior from the owner to his equally unethical GM.
Stay away! I’m driving 15 miles to service my car now but happy not to do business with Napleton.

The old saying, «A fish rots from the head down,» is given new and decidedly fetid life by GM Barnaba and his sales staff. While you may be able to trust Kerry Terlep’s service department, do NOT do business with the sales department at Napleton unless you relish rancid rancor. How does Porsche allow this creepy, classless clown show to represent their product?

What a pompous group of salesmen at this dealership! I emailed them regarding a Porsche Cayenne Hybrid. I was ready and willing to buy one of these hybrids I saw on their website right away. But like most people, I wanted to handle most of my negotiations online so I can be in and out of the dealership without too much hassle. First of all, it took over a week and 3 emails of follow-​up for them to even reply back to me. Then, when they replied, their tone of the email was so snobby and condescending. For example, they’d write, «There’s people lining up to buy this vehicle, so why would we give you a discount?»
Wow, really? Even if that’s true, that’s not how you reply back to a potential customer, you pompous jackass. Luckily for me, there was another hybrid at Loeber Porsche, so I bought from them. Much friendlier and responsive staff. Avoid this dealership like a plague. I don’t even know how they’re still in business.

If I could give this dealership negative one million stars, it would be too many.
First of all, (and the sole reason for this review), is that they only seem to have one (rude, arrogant, lying, idiotic) salesman, who I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with twice now. He should be out on the street or in the back — not dealing with customers. He just cost them a sale, as no car is good enough for me to not consider the way I’m treated when I walk in to purchase something of that expense.
Anyone who knows me knows I only put a review on Unilocal if I have something good to say. This is my exception, because I was SO appalled by the way I was treated and the fact that this guy blatantly wasted my time… and took no responsibility for his own idiocy and the fact that he didn’t know his right foot from his left. Rather he continuously told me I was wrong, wrong, wrong (Isn’t the customer always right??)
I live in the city. They had 2 models we wanted to look at — waaayy out in the burbs — and we went in rush hour traffic after work. We were going to trade in our current Cayenne for a new one. We got there and the models he described were not the ones he showed us (they didn’t have all the features he told us they would; the colors were wrong) — and then the prices he quoted us seemed to jump outrageously…
We already have a Porsche — so we know what the prices are — and we were very clear about what we wanted. But this guy keeps misrepresenting the inventory and the pricing, and is clearly trying to take us for a ride… in fact, telling us that WE are misrepresenting what we have and what we want… who does that???
Now, I don’t go around making a habit of misrepresenting myself, and I was so offended by his continuous assertion, that I got up and walked out. No car is worth being treated like garbage. I’ll keep my older-​than-​2011 Cayenne, which is still a beauty, and I’ll go elsewhere when I want something new. They can forget it.
Tip for Car Dealerships Everywhere: Treating consumers like $*&! is not a good way to make a sale. It for sure back-​fired this time.
