The elderly lady that I assume was the owner was friendly but I was taken aback when she told my girlfriend who looked at two handbags that she needed to carry large handbags. Was this because she is a plus size woman? If you like St John this is the place for you because they had tons. I did find a pair of vintage Chanel earrings that I am almost certain are authentic. For the price I paid I don’t care if they aren’t. Some items were pretty worn out but I would definitely go back.

Such a gem! I am writing this from a shopper’s perspective: if you are willing to take your time and search, a treasure is sure to be found! I have bought several Chanel bags and other designer items all for a great price.

I wish I could leave –10 stars. Stopped in today and the elderly owner was as rude to me as anyone I have ever encountered EVER in a retail shop. I asked if she had any costume jewelry and she said No, but we TAKE it in and looked at me with a glitter in her eye, so they do take it, but they don’t sell it. What? Then she motioned to the back room and said «go back there» What??? I asked if there was jewelry there and she said No. I saw a tray and a large bin of costume jewelry and asked if I could look at it and she said NO very loudly turned her back and walked into another room. Arrogant, snobby, snotty, she has it all. Another customer walked up and tossed some clothes onto the checkout counter like they were trash and she said nothing to them. I would NEVER go back there as long as the old lady is there. I overheard her telling her buddies that «I wish my kids would buy me things I want, like rugs and sofas. So there you go kids, buy your mom a rug, and change her nasty disposition. Shudder.

Since I’m now a total a convert to resale, I felt compelled to comment on this place. I love designer things and the style and quality they provide, and this is one of my regular go-to’s. I’ve actually known about this place for decades, maybe as long as they’ve been in business. My mom used to take me here when I was a kid, and for years I consigned here. After an absence of a few years I popped in and found the place for the most part unchanged, which is part of its charm. Bob and Betty have aged of course, and their main staffer Chris runs the show. They’re all nice if you are. The customer demographic has shifted somewhat, but there are still quality consignors bringing their things here, for us to peruse at 75−90% off retail. Boo ya! There are some labels on the rack here and there that don’t belong (an occasional Target, Forever 21 etc type), and there aren’t enough high end labels to match their St. John inventory, but it is a rare day when I leave with fewer than a half dozen items, all for pennies on the retail dollar. People are always asking me where did I get that fur, this leather, that bag or whatever, and they can’t believe what I pay. It’s worth the trip and since consignors bring stuff every week a couple visits a month are worthwhile. They don’t put much if any money into the building so don’t expect retail finishes, it is what it is. But with prices way below retail, why complain? A must-​go every time I go out to the western burbs from the city.

I would give zero stars, but am not afforded that option. I am aghast at the telephone treatment I received.
I grew up in the area and consigned and shopped at Elite Repeat for many years. Back in the area now, I have several severely cute Betsey Johnson party dresses, a vintage lace wedding dress, handbags… and true eagerness to sell/​share these as I can no longer wear them.
I phoned the store for information on the process, as I am sure things have progressed, and the man on the operator end cut me off with «without a contract number, I cannot help you». What is that?
I am sorely disappointed as this is not how a shop representative should treat potential clients.

I have to admit, I used to sell unwanted clothing here. However, I stopped because I was tired of being treated poorly by the owner, who found it necessary to negatively comment on everything including the width of my feet.
Apparently, some of my clothing items had been «stolen» because when I returned to pick unsold items up, they could not be found and I was never financially reimbursed for them.
I would rather donate my clothing now, to an organization that appreciates it.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside. In fact, when we drove up, the place looked closed. But inside is definitely a treasure trove of clothing, jewelry, shoes, handbags and accessories.
I needed some summery accessories to match my «Country Club» look for a Unilocal event. Ericka A and I changed our shopping map and headed down Ogden as soon as Rachel J sent us a message to check out Elite Repeat.
We were not disappointed. Their merchandise is very good quality. Even the shoes didn’t seem totally worn out. I made a mental note to shop here first for any kind of formal event as they had a nice selection of event dresses. One of the salesladies remarked that they get more merchandise every week sometimes. If you’re looking for high end brand names, this is where it’s at. Priced very reasonably – at least 50% off original price.
I found my summery hat and purse that definitely elevated my outfit to country club chic. I got many compliments on the hat that I plan to wear it all summer! The purse caught my eye because of it’s summer colors and I was pleasantly surprised that it was designer all the way. A wonderful shopping experience!

Aimee M. and I decided we needed some retail therapy before the big Country Club bash. Rachel J. came to the rescue by suggesting we hit up Elite Repeat. And being that all three of us are Unilocal Elite, who am I to say no to a store that so clearly has our best interests at heart?
Aimee was looking for a summery hat and accessories. I specifically wanted faux pearls to go with my vintage dress. We both found what we were looking for and then some. I walked away with a gorgeous multi-​use necklace, an art deco belt and a sexy little number I pulled from the back rack. I’d go into more detail about it, but I plan to wear it to an Elite Event and don’t want to spoil the surprise. But I will say that I was expecting it to be 4x what I paid for it ($ 15). It was clearly a favorite of the ladies working there.
Hats, shoes, bags, dresses, suits, sweaters, pants, belts, buckles and jewelry. They have a little bit of everything and it’s all reasonably priced. Most items I looked at were between $ 15 – 80. They do have a wide selection of designer and high-​quality vintage that goes for hundreds of dollars, but it’s still 50%+ off the original price.
The only thing I noticed that made the clothes shopping part of it difficult is that there weren’t many dresses or outfits above a size 8. They have some larger sizes scattered throughout the shop. You just have to be willing to look for them. The inventory changes, things come and go, so I could have just come at a time when a collective of skinny people were getting rid of their stuff.

Tucked in a converted carriage house/​garage lies treasures of times past and present.
It is as ramrod as a consignment shop can be, with the selection and organization of everything.
They have a very large selection of upscale clothing for fair prices. Everything is in perfect condition. No missing buttons, marks, tears, lose threads… nothing! They have a nice case of jewelry, and a selection of bags as well.
Give them a try — -I am sure you will find some kind of treasure here.
Things to know: It’s easy to pass this place up when looking for it, so go slow and keep in mind the store is on the south side of the street. The front lot is also a tight squeeze.
