i bought tea here twice and i like the tea(although im not an expert and wouldn’t know what bad tea taste like anyhow) If the lousy sales associate was taken from the store i probably would love love this place. but i just cannot look pass the annoying and«flea market» pressure from these crazy women. Each time i walked out with my purchase i always feel like was defeated and they have«sold» me something i didn’t really want in the beginning. i don’t know its just a wierd«cheated feeling. So i went home and panicked n had to research to see if the tea was even ligitimet but most brands were in chinese character so i was not able to research. til now i still don’t know how much i should trust this place. :(

This is where I get my tea from now on… I found it on the way into the supermarket right next door… they have all kinds of very high quality tea from China and Japan and Taiwan and all of the accessories that go with making it… this is the type of place you would find in Kyoto, Japan. This weekend they had a stand outside and had samples of a Japanese green tea with rose polyphenols in it, supposedly to make the skin lighter– as if I needed help with that… and a nasty gelatin based drink which will give you eternal life or something if you survive actually drinking it… They also had some dried cherries with roses in it for calcium for stronger bones and roses actually taste good too… They have very interesting things for sure that are also good for your health. The focus is mostly on tea and accessories though…

I had no intentions of going inside. I was just marveling at the nice interior of the store. A lady comes over and tries to engage conversation and so that’s how I was sucked into entering the store — not that I minded. For some reason the lady spoke to me in Mandarin, which was fine, but we were in Westminster and it’s rare that this happens. She offered me a sample of tea while I browsed the store. The store features various teas, mostly the Chinese versions: dragon well, jasmine etc. I ended up getting a box of the one I sampled. They even gave me a bottle of iced tea(the same one I bought) which they’ve brewed in a bottle of bottled water for me to take to go. Awesome service!
