Felt like some pancakes, which are decent here, so thought we would swing by since it’s so close. Bad idea. Horrible waitress that got our order wrong and burnt hash browns. Service is important to me so I’m not coming back here anytime soon and I would recommend you go café Westminster instead for a great breakfast with solid service. I’ll drive the extra 8 min next time!

Food was good. Ordered a choose your own combo situation. Opted for the strawberries and cream crepes. My husband got the same but ordered the pumpkin pancakes. Which I tasted and thought they were a little dry. However… I took off a star because of their restrooms. The men’s side only had ONE stall so there was a line, obviously. The women’s was being cleaned? Who does this during busy business hours? Or am I wrong?!

Waitress was fine and nice but food was horrible, I was sitting in my booth watching my french toast for over 5 min sitting under the heat lamp and they only gave me half my order and when they brought it to me it was burnt! the rest of my food was also bad eggs were cold, hash browns were not only not well done like I asked but not even cooked all the way and the bacon filled with grease still. Smh I have been going to this location for 20 years and it has gone down. My recommendation is for them to hire new cooks!

Been here a couple of times service is OK. Tonight I went and the server had his kid at work making all kinds of noise and came up to our table with a mouth full of food. Both of our orders were wrong, clearly they were too busy entertaining their kid. Was annoyed the entire time.

Food is good, but this facility is in a major need of an upgrade. Looks like all interior design has been stuck in the 80s. Weekends are packed but during the week this restaurant is a ghost town. Lunch and dinner are average but of course we come for breakfast. Service is average.

This place is great, the only reason why customer service is complained about is because one person is taking care of all the guests. The food was great, the customer service was good for all he has to do, and I would come back again.

PATRONSBEWARE !!! ONE star is WAY too much to give. Since these morons don’t give a rats ass as to their customer service and quality of their food, or cleanness of their restrooms, I would suggest to start calling corporate and have these clowns fired or shut it down. Before you sit down, just take a peek at their bathrooms. You can really know a restaurant as to how they keep their restrooms. These are just as bad as a gas stations and that would be an insult to some of the cleaner bathrooms at some gas stations. Smell of urine is overwhelming, no towels to dry your hands and the manager just doesn’t give a rats ass as she looks like she comes from those third world countries were that is the norm. Ordered a breakfast sampler and everything on the plate looked like it was made by a trained monkey, sorry don’t mean to insult monkeys. Bacon was microwaved couldn’t even bite into it. Eggs over-easy where nothing of a kind. Ham were like two tortilla chips dry as a spoonful of sand and the hash brown where undercooked with a slope of cheese that’s been sitting there for a couple of days. The staff really doesn’t give a crap about their customers as they never come by and ask how everything is, as they know what the answer is going to be. The manager looks like a fat slob who is just there to collect the money. I told her that the food was the worst breakfast that I have ever eaten, and the only thing that was good was the grape jelly that came already prepared in their own packaging. Told her that the cook should be embarrassed to allow such slop to come out of his kitchen and should be fired. This iHOP and the one on Beach Blvd. should be demolished as the are two of the worst iHOP’s I have ever been to in my 40 years living in Huntington Beach. As the clientele changes to a third world country, with a staff coming from this same areas, the food, service and cleanliness depicts it. I will NEVER, EVER step inside of these infected areas even for a glass of water, or to eat at their infectious restaurants and restrooms. Anyone who gives this poor excuse of a restaurant a good review, must be ignorant of how an establishment should be ran, food or management… or just have the munchies after smoking something were ANYTHING tastes great!

Ordered 2 three stacks of plain buttermilk pancakes and got 2 orders of three pancakes drenched in cinnamon sauce and whipped cream. The total came out to be around $ 20. Service was not amazing either. There’s a reason why this place is nearly empty and has two and a half stars on Unilocal

Breakfast Starts with HOTCOFFEE Well, coffee pots sit at table for a long time. Waiter don’t seem to care to keep track of how long coffee been sitting. They will make hot pot when you receive your coffee food is cold. Best to check coffee before placing order.

This single restaurant near Golden West College is the best IHOP I’ve ever been. When you don’t know what to eat, IHOP is always the right place. Waffles are fabulous. Service is so so.

Ordered Togo — just tried their banana foster french toast and I’m in love! 2nd time getting it this week. Hash browns are nice and crunchy just the way I like them too. I haven’t dined in but when I pick up my food it seems pretty busy in there

We went here on Sunday. Wasn’t even busy. We were seated(kind of quick) by a very lethargic cashier who didn’t smile, didn’t prompt, just guided us to a table and said«your sever will be here shortly» just ran away before we could ask anything(if we needed to). Our server came and he was very to the point, rude to me. When he took our orders I gave him mine, wasn’t finished, but he just said«and for you?» For my husband. I interjected with the side I wanted. He just nodded, didn’t write it down, and just ignored me. K. Once that was ordered. We never got refills. My apple juice was warm. Never saw him again forever. We had ordered an appetizer which ended up coming with our food which is not how it should go. Also, the side I ordered? Yeah he forgot it. So when I asked again he was just like«oh you want that too?» Like I was bothering him for asking even though I asked /before/the food had been here. So, that took another thousand years to get to the table. The food over all just seemed like cafeteria food. Very bland. Nothing to write home about. It’s decent, but then costs the same as a normal place. Everything about it was mediocre. I don’t see a point in returning. (This was also my first time at any IHOP).

The always-dependable IHOP. It will certainly please your crowd, if your crowd is into pancakes. And who isn’t?* Our family has been on-and-off regulars at this location for longer than I care to admit. Mostly, we have come for the breakfasts — and the occasional breakfast-for-dinner when the parental units are lacking culinary inspiration at the end of a long day at the coal mine. Okay, I made that up, about working in a coal mine. But it sometimes feels like that, doesn’t it? Generally, the selections for breakfast include all the usual carb-loaded suspects you could find anywhere, except that you can order them with a fabulous variety of flavors and/or toppings. The pancakes come in seasonal flavors like gingerbread and pumpkin, as well as the classic chocolate that can be had year round. There are fruit compote toppings and four(Four! Where else do you get that, I ask you?) flavors of syrup. The crepes have a Swedish lingonberry version(I take it that this is the main basis of their claim to being«International») as well as strawberries and cream, cheese«blintz» filling, and even banana Nutella. The(not really) French toast has a bananas foster version and a cinnamon swirl version, in addition to the standard(not really) French style. This array of tempting pictures continues on for no less than three menu pages! You can also order omelettes, eggs, bacon, toast, etc. My advice is, don’t bother. They are pretty high-priced for the boring food you would get, and who goes to the International House of Pancakes because they like to pay eight bucks for a couple of eggs over easy with meh breakfast sausage? Gluten-free people being dragged there by gluten eaters, that’s who. Oh, and beware of ordering omelettes; rumor is that they«extend» them by mixing in pancake batter. So that brings me to the subject of price. IHOP isn’t cheap, and at its best, it’s barely reasonable. Your best value would be one of the combination plates, say pancakes with bacon etc, than to order a la carte. On the other hand, you only get two pancakes with the combos, rather than the usual four. In general, you will pay 8 to 10 dollars for any plate featuring carbs: that’s nine dollars for the strawberry and cream crepes for instance, with absolutely no sides. Add in a beverage, and you can easily pay twelve dollars per person for that sugar crash you will experience one hour later. On the positive side, this IHOP has taken pains to have a regularly updated appearance, a clean interior, and quick service from the time of ordering to the food’s appearance at the table. I will also say, the folks at corporate headquarters do a bang-up job of marketing in general; lots of current trends being represented on their ever-changing and visually-appealing breakfast menu. Now, if only they’d pay attention to the GF trend, and offer at least one GF pancake for us! It gets lonely, eating your dull plate of bacon and eggs whilst watching everybody else dive into their rooty tooty breakfasts. *Single people under 40 who don’t like pancakes are a rare breed indeed: other than that, it’s written in the rulebook somewhere that you are required to attend chain pancake joints if you a), have kids, b), are middle-aged and up with nothing better to do on a Sunday morning, or c) are a baffled Midwestern tourist who just wants something familiar already in this confusing land of diversity. And no, crepes don’t count as «diversity».

It’s your ordinary IHOP. Never really disappoints. Unless your looking for something out of the ordinary from what they serve. The prices did go up sadly on the drinks and food. This is gonna start being a once every couple or ounce month thing for me since they got pricey. But other than that service was great at this location!

Walked in on a Tuesday night with the bf. Had gone to a nearby bar and needed to get sobered up before driving. Was promptly greeted and seated at a nice booth. The bf and I hadn’t gone to an IHOP in quite a long time. It felt over-priced when we went a couple years back, and the foods tasted very salty. This time around, the bf ordered t-bone steak, while I got their chicken and three-cheese quesadilla. We ordered waters, but the bf ordered an iced tea that he never got. Our food did come up pretty promptly, but there was only two other tables in the restaurant, so it wasn’t too busy. The bf absolutely loved the t-bone steak, and would probably order it again. His scrambled eggs were cooked well, and had that nice flavor of butter. The pancakes were pretty good, and he had his fun with one of the four available maple syrups on the table by drowning his pancakes in a sweet mess. Hash browns were okay. My quesadilla was pretty awesome, and hit the spot for me. Overall, it was a good experience after our previous bad experiences years back. May be back if we’re in the area again.
