Acacia at Indian Meadows offers a Sunday Brunch, weekly from 10:00 to 2:00 pm. Took some family members here for brunch and I was not impressed with the food — mediocre on both selection & taste. The table-​service staff were excellent and the place was clean, but that’s about all I can come up with for positive feedback. It wasn’t terrible food, but it also wasn’t worth $ 25 per person.

We came here on a Corridor 9 Chamber of Commerce function. I’ve been told it has undergone some renovations. The bar/​bar selections are «meh» — to the point where instead of wine, I ordered a vodka and pineapple that I handed over to my husband and I stuck with soda water — life is too short for cheap booze.
Food selection was ok, the pasta was overcooked as buffet pasta can be, and turkey at carving station was dry. The pork tenderloin was a tad bland but really juicy. I didn’t get any of the passed Hors d’Oeuvres which was too bad, but I wasn’t too inclined to follow the tired looking and dressed server. In general, ok.

Food was good… it came out really Slow though and we didn’t get a dish. Then they rush to put everything away… the hall itself was beautiful… lots of windows and natural lights. The view and beautiful… Not very organized though…

My fiancé and I were looking for a place to have an authentic 8-​course Chinese wedding, and this looked like the only place around that we could do that without hiring a caterer. Thankfully, we decided to spend the FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to TRY their food first (otherwise it would be a mystery until the wedding day itself). It was $ 50 per person, with a minimum of $ 10 people, and in increments of 10 people only. That was probably the best $ 500 we could have spent on our wedding, because it allowed us to avoid catastrophe.
First, the food was AWFUL. I mean… for $ 50 per person, you’d think you’d get something at least half decent, right? No. Try canned ham that was half-​frozen. Try cheapo substitutes for what was supposed to be specialty ingredients. And the fish was burnt to a crisp. I did enjoy the dessert — a small cup of sweet bean soup.
Second, the service was absolutely horrible. Again, spending $ 50 per person, you’d expect some service right? No. Our waiter was dressed like he was on vacation in shorts (when we were all dressed in ties and jackets), and he only cleared our dishes once after about three courses. The table was an absolute mess. He kept making off-​color jokes like «does that fish have bones in it? ugh, that must be scary.» And when we asked him questions about the food, he never knew the answer. Although to give him some credit, he was the manager, he wasn’t used to being a waiter. He was also trying to prepare for a wedding that was taking place later that day. But still, this was his chance to impress us — but he did the exact opposite.
Long story short, if you’re looking for authentic Chinese food for your wedding or event, do NOT look here. You will be horribly disappointed. The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were trying hard to prepare for a wedding at the same time as serving us, and because the manager, before the meal, gave us some good advice on Chinese traditions we could include in our wedding.

WORST PLACE EVER!!! The manager Ken was a jerk to us and so is the staff there bad service all around. The food was not that good and I would not recommend this place unless it’s for a funeral.

The Sunday Brunch was AWFUL! Barely any food and most of it was cold and over-​cooked. There were no side dishes to go witht the meat, say like veggies or potatoes. It was mostly breakfast items. Definitely not worth the $ 18 or $ 19 it cost. Also, in case you have the Entertainment Book, this place is not accepting the coupon.

Be Careful. At the time of this review their website advertised a Dim Sum brunch Saturday and Sunday. They did not update their web site to indicate they currently do NOT have Dim Sum. Their Sunday Brunch as average. Not a large selection, but the food was good. The waitresses were relatively attentive. The atmosphere can be noisy as they tend to attract large groups. In fact, Acacia looks like a good place for a large group for brunch.

WEEKEND DIM SUM REVIEW (I guess they do other catering stuff during the week)
My parents found this place a few weeks ago after driving past the «DIM SUM» sign and deciding to try it. They’ve been going literally every weekend since. One of the times they took me, and I have to say it was pretty good. They just started doing dim sum on the weekends, so it was pretty much empty when we went (dining area is huge too), but my parents have said it has been gaining popularity. All of the dishes we had were pretty good, but the standouts were the daikon radish cake, and fried taro thingies. This is probably the only place to get dim sum in the area, and it turned out to be a pretty great place! I recommend it, especially if you don’t feel like trekking out to Boston. It’s part of the Indian Meadow Golf Course, so you could shoot 9 holes then grab dim sum right after ;)
