Jiffy Lube

Reid may be the nicest guy on the planet. They got my car in and out in the amount of time they quoted, he went over the estimate and my options. Never tried to up-​sale me or provide services I didn’t need. I saved HUNDREDS by visiting today and not going to the dealer and I feel the work was just as good, if not better and clearly much quicker.
If you find yourself needing an oil change, I highly recommend the West Sacramento Jiffy Lube. These guys are awesome.

Today, it was not «Jiffy Lube», it was just «lube». When my car was not ready after almost an hour, I asked what the status was. Was told they were waiting for air filter from Napa auto parts (next door) (I had instructed to change air filter if required). I saw employee returning from Napa auto empty handed. After ten more minutes, asked if car was ready. Was told they only needed to rotate tires. Problem was, I specifically told them at sign in not to rotate tires.
Went inside to pay. Was shown screen with all items covered. One item said «oil filter, OK». Then was told they put back old air filter. If old air filter OK, why were they buying new one? Was then shown engine compartment of car with employee showing all that was done. Noticed bolt holding air filter housing in place was missing (but area was not dirty indicating bolt had been there). Employee said «oops» went the looking for, and found bolt and replaced.
Service was not «Jiffy». Need for air filter mis-​represented. My instructions on tires not followed. Car not properly put back together. Most employees seemed to be not at all motivated.

I have been here many times and have always been satisfied. But recently I brought my daughters car here before she returned to college. Driving behind her going back to college I noticed something hanging. The only thing that we had done recently was get her oil chAnged so she had to go back to a jiffy lube by her school and they discovered things had not been screwed in properly. What’ a disappointment and lucky things did not turn out worse. Hope this is an isolated incident.

Good service, very quick and great customer service. Would highly recommend them in the West Sacramento area.

The staff is very courteous and take time to explain the needs of your car, if any. I will be back again :)

These guys are all very professional and clean. They don’t try to upsell you. They have coffee and water in the waiting room. I don’t live in Sacramento but I would come here again!

Wow! Andre and the crew were AMAZING! Professional, fast, courteous, and thorough! Explained everything from the beginning of the service right up to the end when Andre handed me the keys to confirm that the job was complete! I highly recommend this shop! I will refer and return! My experience here was pleasant. I didn’t have to wait very long for the oils change to be done, and everyone here was real nice.
I could write a book about this place, but I really don’t care to. I’m happy with the service I received, and I’ll go back again.

I went in on a Saturday morning and they had me in and out within 15 minutes! Plus they gave me a free car wash for Quick Quack next door. Great customer service. This will be my regular oil change spot.

Wonderful service! Girell (might have misspelled your name sorry) is a nice guy and very pleasant to deal with. They accomplished everything I needed done to my car plus they vacuumed and sent me on my way with a coupon for a free car wash. The waiting room is a little small, do yourself a favor and wait outside in the gorgeous California sunshine.

I got an oil change today actually and it was a good experience. Please keep in mind that I was able to go in the later morning on a weekday. I’m sure on the weekends/​later in the day (when people get off work usually) it’s busier and more hectic.
I drove around to the back (which they should probably have a sign somewhere saying that) and someone right away greeted me and instructed me on what to do, she also walked me into the waiting room which was nice. They have complimentary coffee and water. There is a restroom in the waiting room (VERY clean and smelled GREAT). Pretty soon after I sat down someone called me to the desk to go over the service that they were going to do on my car and also the recommended things that they saw wrong (a filter, two lights above my license plate and some type of valve that was clogged). He gave me a great deal on everything and I left with the oil change, windows clean, seats and floor vacuumed, new filter and whatever valve it was (LOL) for $ 41. The oil change was priced for $ 30 (Shell) So not bad for everything else I got.
It took about 15 mins for everything. Staff was very friendly and nice

Called on my lunch break and was told it would be a 15 minute service with no wait. I get there 5 minutes later, there are two cars already in the bays (which isn’t that many). My oil change doesn’t start for another 30 minutes, my car was just sitting there getting its windows washed for that long and they hadn’t even asked what type of oil change I wanted. Then add another 15 mins to figure out how to charge my gift card. Normally I’m fine waiting, but don’t tell me it will be 15 minutes then take 55 mins and make me late for work. 2 stars just because the guy at the front was nice enough

This Jiffy Lube made me feel like they valued my time and my return business. Yep, you can find oil changes for less. I shopped a lot of those places and found that they quote you wait times of up to two hours. Two hours! I was in and out of this location in 12 minutes. Granted, I got there shortly after opening on a weekday. But even on weekends, I’ll bet they get people out in under 25 minutes on a regular basis.
The shop is fairly new. A very personable service rep was telling me that they’ve been open for less than a year. All of the techs were very friendly, even waving and saying thanks as I was getting into my car.
They offer free coffee or water and have a large screen TV in the small waiting room. I did not see any magazines, so be sure to bring your own or keep your smartphone handy.
There was absolutely no pressure to make any additional purchases. I was shown my air filter and told that it looked fine. Windshield wipers and other options were offered and easily declined.
I usually go to the Northgate location, but after a worker there was quite rude on the phone, I decided to give this one a try. So glad I did. It’s much less busy and everyone was so professional.

First time there. Great customer service! Went in for transmission fluid change and rear differential. Went in first thing Saturday morning and they got it done fast and for more than half the price the dealership wanted. Very happy and I will definitely return.

Went in for a normal oil change. Done in about a 35min. Busy day so that okay. But as soon I as drove off the car kept stalling. Took it back to the shop to find out they forgot to attach a hose which caused the engine to receive to much air. It took them an extra hour to fix the issue. The wait time was due more to them putting the car behind another oil change instead of an empty bay, the fix was fast as soon as they checked it out. I understand busy days but they didn’t even offer a future discount or a coupon. Last thing I had to go home an clean of some oil left on the door handle. Some workers where courtesy but they need some work on customer satisfaction. This was my first visit to Jiffy Lube, but I think I might stick to PEP BOYS in the future. Sorry I tried the switch.
