Very happy with the service we received from Universal Limousine. This past weekend, we hired them for our business trip to Napa from Sacramento. Lisa was easy to work with & was patient with changes that were made. Our Driver Bruce was on time and very friendly. Bus was clean & comfortable. Will be contacting them for our next trip in 2018.

This place literally doesn’t give a dam about the customer. Sure they probably have nice busses and deals and driver but in the end they only care about getting money out of you. I made a reservation to get a bus for my bday and naturally I asked to see the bus because I wanted to see everything I was paying form she seemed very polite and nice and was willing to come on her day off to see how it to me. Yea all that is just for show. Not even an hour later I received a text not even a call or anything just see saying we booked that bus, sorry. I asked multiple times what happened only to get zero response and finally when I asked so what asked my option, all I got was one more text that said fully booked. That’s the last I’ve heard from them. It’s pretty terrible business practice to do something like that. Like I said all they want is for you to give them that credit card number and that’s it they don’t care about anything else. I will personally go out of my way to make sure anyone I ever know won’t use this place and will refer them to anyone else

It’s my husband’s 40th bday and I wanted to surprise him with a limo ride to go bar hopping downtown Sac for just him and the guys. I know I’m a sweet wife right? I called and spoke to Melody. She was very sweet and attentive. I just told her what I wanted and she made all of the arrangements for the night. It was so simple. Everything was booked over the phone and I received a transportation confirmation within 10 mins! She even gave us a complimentary bottle champagne and water for his bday! There were no hidden fees. The amount I paid was exactly the amount I was quoted. On the day of, Rick the limo driver contacted me in the morning and wanted to be well prepared for the night. He showed up on time but the people in my party were running late. And yet Rick was very patient and professional about it. They just departed half an hour ago. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with this company and will definitely use them again.

Universal Limo was by far the best limo companies I have ever used! The entire process was smooth, convenient and Universal Limo is by far the best priced among the other companies in the area. Melody, our coordinator, was not only accommodating but very friendly and ensured that we were taken care of. She even threw in complimentary water and champagne for the day of our event. I spoke to another representative prior to Melody when I realized I was in need of making changes to our reservation and he was not that friendly or helpful at all but Melody was able to come in and save the day. Anyone that comes in contact with Melody is very lucky! When it came to the day of our event, Anjit our driver was on time, professional and courteous. Even when he saw that the limo was out of champagne prior to picking us up he still managed to run to the store, pick up two bottles and still managed to arrive on time.
Best limo company by far, Universal Limo all the way!

Great service! We used them to go from our hotel to the Garth Brooks concert at Sleep Train Arena. It was a sold out show, with another sold out show right after it, so needless to say… traffic was crazy! Our driver Marla was great! She got us in and out with no problem at all! We had a Navigator SUV, it was clean, roomy, and totally comfortable for 4 of us passengers. Would totally use again!

I sent a request for a quote through their website. No one ever got a hold of me. So I called and left a message on their voicemail. The next day, I received a call back from Terry. I told him what day I wanted their 23 passenger limo party bus and that I’d call back in a couple days to give him the deposit over the phone. Two days later, I called back to give my credit card information. No one ever returned my call. I called again a couple days later. No one ever returned my call! So I called AGAIN and this time got a lady on the phone. For some reason she wasn’t able to take my deposit and told me she or Terry would call me back (and promised TODAY after I explained that I’ve attempted many times to leave a message without anyone ever getting back to me and all I’m trying to do is give them my money!!!) Well here we are, again NO ONE called me back! They must be so busy they don’t need the bookings, so I will take my business elsewhere and tell everyone I know about the poor customer service this company offers!

We used this company as part of a surprise for a family member. Melody asked what we wanted and gave advice and help to make the evening a success. Our driver, Istvan, was the best! He was on time and enjoyed being part of our surprise! We didn’t have to worry about anything! The price was exactly what Melody said it would be… no surprises! We wanted a limo to take us and another couple out to a special dinner and back without having to worry about drinking and driving. We were very pleased with the service we received from our driver, Ray and Melody, who took our reservation. Everything was explained clearly and efficiently. Ray was on time, friendly, and patient. The limo was newer, clean and well stocked. The price was very reasonable and he whole evening went as planned. We would definitely use Universal Limousine of West Sac again!

We have used this company on three occasions and each experience has been the same 5 star rating: 1. Limo/​Party bus’s were clean and stocked as requested. 2. Driver’s were on time, professional, and very responsive for pickups. 3. Company has great customer service with confirmation emails and simple booking.
With that said, beyond the great experience with this company, what caused me to post this review was what I consider the best limo driver ever: Chuck Burke. What impressed me most is that he had a genuine concern for our experience. He had the five star service covered no problem, but his level of service didn’t stop there. Last week we went to the Raiders Vs. Chiefs game and he was the driver of the party bus. My favorite example of Chuck’s dedication to our fun was when it came time for our tailgate to be over as the game was starting. He saw us starting to clean up, but told us to just go and enjoy the game. He personally took down our pop-​up tent, cleaned up all the mess including the hot BBQ, put all tables, chairs, and lot’s of food&alcohol back in the Limo. He didn’t have to do any of that, but wanted us to just have a great experience. Get Chuck to drive for you and you won’t be disappointed, as among the great drivers we have had, he was the best of the best!

Planned a wine tasting trip for Father’s Day weekend — it was my Dad’s first time to the wineries and my boyfriends first trip in a limo. Ray was our driver and I booked everything through Melody. Both were AWESOME and extremely knowledgeable of the wineries and timing. We even ended up having enough time to stop at one more winery and Ray was able to suggest a great one to stop at and even called ahead to set up a last minute appointment. There was a small billing issue, but I called Melody and she handled everything without any questions being asked! I cannot wait to use Universal Limo again and will definitely be requesting to work with both Ray and Melody!
Thanks for making Father’s Day and my Dad’s first wine tasting trip a GREAT experience!

What a nice surprise !! Universal Limousine put a big smile our sons face ! After finding out our son R.J. Needed to go to Texas for brain surgery they stepped up and donated a ride to and from the airport. R.J. is 12 years old and has never been in limo !! (WOW) ! When he walked out the door and seen their beautiful limo in front of our house the look on his face was priceless !!! He felt like a king !! I would highly recommend Universal Limousine to everyone I know and can’t thank them enough for their kindness. I think that giving back to their community the way they did was hands down (CARING) and that’s what sets them apart from others… Thank you so much for your incredible act of kindness ! I used this company for my 25th birthday celebration! The first time I called i was greeted by a nice older gentlemen, he ended up giving me such a great deal for a saturday night 25 passenger bus! My party and I were more than satisfied! With their birthday package, they also arranged for my party and I to get FREE club entrance to any club I wanted in Sacramento. It was great, I couldn’t complain!
Their were NO hidden fees with their quote and tip was included!
I will definitely be booking with them for any future events!
If they ask where you heard about them, make sure you say Unilocal! I am pretty sure that is why I got such a great promotional deal!

This is the worst limo company that there can be. The worst customer service ever I wish I could give 0 star. I made an appointment to go see the hummer limo on a Saturday and I was driving from San Jose and when I got there the limo was not there. The next time I made an appointment again there was no one to show me the limo I had to go check it out myself.
And the worst happened on my wedding day. The driver was late and yet very rude and disgusting. I am not sure If the driver has GPS or not because the bridal party was giving him directions to the venue. No one would even call to apologize they just have excuses for everything. This company is only after your money and the customer service is trash. Go somewhere else if you are looking for limo service. Their address is in west Sacramento on front street.

Universal limo is amazing!!! I worked with Linda for reservations and she was very helpful and accommodating! Originally, I had booked with another company because I did not see Universal limo under the search for minibuses. However, that company (US Coachways) canceled my reservation on Friday night, right before a planned Monday trip for about 25 people. I called Universal Limo on Saturday morning and Linda was quick to find me a mini bus for Monday morning for a great price. Our driver, Jeff, was great too! He was punctual and had everything planned to a T! This is an amazing business and I very strongly advocate that if you need a rental, Universal Limo is the way to go!!! They are professional and provide great customer service!!! I will definitely be calling them if I need another rental!

We reserved this limo for a trip on Jan. 13th to a special dinner with 8 other friends in Mt. Aukum. Driver was fantastic. Company’s service was spotty. Was difficult to get a confirmed contract. And, the worst part — the driver had the wrong address! We ended up at our planned destination an hour late. I doubled checked the contract when I got home and we had given the company the right address. For some reason, dispatch gave the driver the wrong destination address (I double-​checked his instruction sheet). We felt sorry for the driver. When I emailed the company’s contact person, all I got was the statement «I will review the billing and look into the change of address.» No apology, no offer to make good, nothing.
(I’m not sure this is the same company we used, but the company we used was located in W. Sac. The company name is the same so this is a partial disclaimer in case this is not the right company.)

Truly an excellent limo service. I used the service for my daughter’s 17th bday! The driver, Shaundell, gave me frequent updates via text msgs as to how/​where my daughter and friends were. He was great with the kids; patient and understanding. He kept them safe on a long trip to SF but still let them have fun (an amazing feat in itself). Even in reserving the limo, I had professional friendly staff. I was given a great deal and immediately sent a receipt via email. I truly don’t have anything but great things to say about this company!

I needed a ride to the airport, and why not arrive in style. This was my first time hiring a chauffeur. I enjoyed the experience… My driver was friendly, professional and right on time… Smack dab on the dot at 11:30 AM. I appreciate that.
I requested and agreed to be driven in an SUV… One way to SMF from south Sacramento (22.5 miles) for $ 140. I really wanted the Escalade ESV, but they were booked. I had my option between a Navigator or Suburban… The person I spoke to said the suburban was a 2007 model. I googled imaged it, and assumed that was what I was getting, but That did not really happen. I got an older version of the suburban… Perhaps a 2006, which by the way– the 2006 & 2007 models are both completely redesigned.
I’m only giving 2 stars because of the SUV I got. I will most likely book again, and give more stars if I can actually get an Escalade or Navigator.
The temperature inside the SUV was very COLD. I was freezing and too shy to ask how to lower down the temperature… I looked in the back hoping there was some sort of way for me to control it… but nothing.
