First time ever ordering a pizza from papa murphys. I was really surprised at how good the pizza tastes. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni, olive and Parmesan pizza. Just followed the instructions and bam. I showed up at 1250pm and I set to pick it up time at 1245pm. I came in and it was ready to go. The online ordering process was easy also. I’ll definitely come back again.

Went here to get a salad. This location offers different types of salads than other locations. I like that. The salad is massive too. Enough to feed four or five people. The store was clean and the young lady was cheerful and pleasant.

Came in for an online pick up, the employee«Cat» was extremely rude because I came in ten minutes early. I had just gotten done telling the other girl(who was very nice) that I wasn’t in a rush because I knew I was early. In the future, try a more respectful tone. Left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Out of the two West Sac locations, this is the better one. They are generous with the toppings, and provide excellent customer service. We call ahead our order sometimes and they always have it ready for us on time. They also have great specials to help save some $$$

Would not sell me just the dough!!! Claimed that the new owners would not do it! Lost a customer for life! Papa Murphy’s down the street sells dough…

Ordered a papa Murphy’s combination. Realized the sauce was just plain tomato sauce instead of pizza sauce. Pretty nasty and cheap. Its an east Indian family runs it. Bad customer service.

The current staff is awesome. There had been a high turnover in the past year but now I look forward to seeing the guys who work there. From placing my order to pick up its quick and easy. There’s always a special they offer and the deals are good.

I like these places, I don’t remember any places like this in southern cali, except for Nick & Willy’s but, they also bake pizzas at their place. I like their pizza because it doesn’t come out all greasy like the other ones(pizza hut, dominos, etc) Service was great.

Hard to go wrong here. The do it yourself of pizza joints. When you want pizzeria quality pizza on the cheap, just cook it yourself. They always have coupons and specials, staff is friendly, and if you burn it its your own fault. now i know what i want for dinner.

I phoned in an order — 2 pizzas and a cinnamon wheel. Simple enough. I told my husband to pick up the order. He gets home with only 1 pizza. I asked him where the rest of the order was and he said«That’s all they gave me». I called them up and the overpaid girl who answered the phone said«I don’t know what happened. We have the other pizza right here. We are saving it for you.». Excuse me? You dont’ know what happened — yes you do — you screwed up! I hate it when places don’t accept responsibility for their screw ups… then she said«Well, we were busy earlier today». My husband said there was only 1 person ahead of him, and one guy came in behind him. Another lame excuse. AND why didn’t they call me when they realized they only gave us 1⁄3 of the order??? They asked me for my phone number — what for??? I hate incompetence, especially in the food service.

DOWNSIDEOFTAKE ‘N’ BAKE The downside of «take ‘n’ bake» is that you don’t get a restaurant experience, you don’t get the convenience of food delivered to your door, or a ready-to-eat pizza as you would with traditional takeout, and you don’t get the discount price of a supermarket frozen pizza. SOWHATDOYOUGET? The uncooked pizza comes wrapped in plastic with easy-to-follow directions. It’s actually pretty good, although nothing too special. Papa Murphy’s website proclaims a «take ‘n’ bake revolution!» To their credit, it is made fresh, is cheaper than delivery and better than frozen pizza, and has a good selection of toppings. THISLOCATION Easy parking. Clean inside. Nice and efficient staff. You can call in, but it only takes a couple of minutes to place the order there and wait. It’s not like they have to cook the pizza! OTHER –Carnivore Tip: they’re featuring«bacon, bacon, bacon» pizza right now. –Veg Tip: pick up mock pepperonis at Nugget and add them before baking. –The calorie count is funny because they report that the pizza only has about 120 calories. The fine print notes that this is for 1⁄12 of the pizza. –They feature thin crust and extra thin crust. –Joe K. recommends cooking on a preheated pizza stone. OVERALL Try it sometime as a ½ priced alternative to Round Table, and decide if you want to join the«take ‘n’ bake» revolution.

Both the manager and the other employees have always been helpful and very customer service orientated. I get the feeling that it’s family owned and operated which gives it that awesome«mom and pop» feeling that seems to be disappearing in West Sac. Pizzas always come out consistent and delicious, not to mention their prices are very reasonable considering their dough is made fresh everyday as well as the prepared ingredients for the pizza toppings. The location is pretty sweet as well… Safeway and Big Lots is right next door so you can do some quick shopping while your pizza gets made.

There are two Papa Murphy’s in West Sac and this my fav. The service is alway quick and the employees very helpful. I’ve been a huge fan of Papa Murphy’s for years and it still ranks pretty high in my favorite pizzas.
