Can you believe one of the workers cussed at me! So I just called in a tuna sub and then they told me a 30 minute wait I said can I have it sooner the man said no mind you I live about four minutes away from them and when I say four minutes I mean a four minute walk as in two streets over from me. I ordered the sub that I wanted I said can I have a large tuna sub I told him everything I wanted he told me the price and then I said how long he said 30 minutes I told him never mind then he said are you fucking kidding me? Wow what terrible service I tried my hardest not to rate this place bad after my last encounter with them because the same guy got upset because I asked him to wash his hands when he made my food because he was mopping the floor right before he made my sandwich and did not change his gloves anyone who is hygienic please beware of this place in their customer service is terrible very disrespectful but the owner himself is very nice he needs to find these guys seriously

I’ve been going to Tony’s for years. I live right down the street. They are very quick to answer the phone & the time to prepare the food is usually quick. I wish the pizza had more cheese on it. It could be better. My fiancé loves their deserts and their subs.

Ordered on a Sunday of a holiday weekend because our regular place was closed. I guess everyone else had the same thought: Online order placed at 6:15, promised at 7pm, delivered at 7:45 When I called at 7:15 just to confirm that they received the order, I got shouted at(in his defense, he sounded pretty stressed out) Food was lukewarm at best when it arrived One pizza was missing a topping Small fries were smaller than we expected Also, the coupon code advertised on their website didn’t work, despite that our order met all the requirements(minimum order met, first time order). Copied and pasted so it wasn’t a typo. It just told me the code couldn’t be applied to our order. The food was okay. The mushrooms on the mushroom pizza were tasty. They gave a generous portion of tartar sauce with the fried clams. The pizza looked like a nice handmade thin crust pizza. Unfortunately it just wasn’t hot. My advice: if it might be a busy night for them, either order a few hours in advance and specify a time for delivery so they can plan ahead, or call so you can get an accurate estimate of when to expect your food. We’ll be going back to our regular place, but I’m guessing our experience wasn’t typical. I think they were just overwhelmed. If you’re considering them, give them a go. If you have better luck, give them some Unilocal love.

Ordered a pizza for carryout. It’s just mediocre pizza at best. It’s not the worst we’ve had on the east cost(We’re from Chicago but enjoy all types of pizza) and the breaded eggplant they put on their pizza is pretty delicious. The pizza and our salad was ready on time and reasonable in price, but they gave us trouble using our $ 5 off coupon, and when we got the pizza home to eat it, we realized they left off one of our toppings even though it showed it on our receipt and we paid for it.

The food here is just okay. I decided to come for lunch with my coworker since we happened to walk by this place. Small, local sub/pizza shop. I ordered the chicken parm with ziti lunch special. First, I’m not sure why it’s a lunch special since prices are similar to other menu items and it doesn’t come with a drink or chips like lunch specials usually do at other places. It came with two pieces of bread on the side and I assumed it would be garlic bread, but it’s just regular sub bread. Not toasted or seasoned in any way. Didn’t eat it unfortunately since I wanted to save room for my pasta dish. The dish comes with a massive piece of chicken parm that practically takes up the entire takeout box. I couldn’t mix the sauces together very well. The ziti wasn’t anything special. The tomato sauce was a little bland in flavor, almost watery. Confirmed this when I got to the bottom of my plate — thick layer of tomato water so I didn’t even want to finish it.

Back home, I had a lot of local pizza places that made pizza. well, the normal way. Nothing fancy and just your average grease. Sometimes, we all like to indulge in something that may be a little bad for us. I love the pizza from this place and I will keep coming back. I am so happy to have found a nice, little local place.

Good, basic, old school pizza. It is a busy place at times, so be a little patient with the overworked staff. People can be so tough on wait staff here on Unilocal. This place is run by regular Boston folks. Regular Boston folks like me don’t mind if they are sassy when the place is busy. Love Tony’s!

My favorite neighborhood restaurant. The staff is always friendly and happy to see us. The food is always good. I have been especially pleased with the seafood. Love the spumoni with claret sauce. The dinners with vegetables are delicious and did I say I love the bread and butter at the start of the meal!

Friendly service, decent food, but I think it’s a little over-priced for what you get.
