Amazing tour of the North End with a great history of the local landmarks. Pat was an excellent and informed tour guide, we even got to see a chocolate presentation and a demonstration of the printing of the Declaration of Independence. We stopped at two of the best pizza places and it was some of the best I’ve ever tasted :)

I recently moved to the area and am a huge pizza fan, but am gluten-​free. This tour was able to accommodate my needs, and I got to enjoy a tasty pizza from one pizzeria (that’s ok with me — I was appreciative to even HAVE any pizza!) all for me. :-)
The history we learned about the North End was extensive and it was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to take friends on this at some point — those who appreciate good pizza will LOVE this tour!

Great 2+ hour walking your of Little Italy and you get 3 slices of pizza from 3 of Boston’s best pizza places. Martin gave us some of the local old history of the historic landmarks. We had a great time for my 50th birthday

Even native Bostonians need to do this tour. Find out little details of the North End and Boston history you never knew about. Easy walking. Plenty of time to make new friends. Includes a boat ride which was a nice «perk». Highly recommended.

Patrick was our tour guide — hilarious and extremely patient. We had a total of 17 people as part of our group and he took care of us from beginning to end. We tried sixe different pizza locations, even stopped at two pastry establishments in the North End. Got a little bit of history, entertainment, lots of food and also dessert. Would highly recommend BPT to anyone looking for something different, fun and delicious. They are well organized and their customer service is superb. I look forward to the next opportunity to do an event with them.

It was a fun Saturday tour for my girlfriends and me! Our tour guide was Martin. I have been going to the North End for many years, but during the pizza tour and tasting I found there were places I didn’t know about, including new places to get some great, inexpensive pizza, of course! He was very knowledgeable about the North End, and had some fun facts to share as we toured. I highly recommend this tour to people coming to Boston for the first time, as well as those who think they know all the places to go! We are planning on going back for the pizza & tavern tour soon!

Went on this tour with my daughter’s 8th grade class trip. Jim Bo was our guide, he was absolutely amazing. I learned things about Boston that I never even knew existed. The pizza was awesome, Regina’s pizza was my favorite. I would definitely do this again.

My BF and I decided to go on this tour on a cold, rainy, Saturday (where the whole city was out drunk, celebrating St. Patricks Day), and we still had a GREAT time! We live in Boston, and still found the tour interesting & the pizza delicious! Martin was awesome– so friendly, knowledgeable, and organized. I highly suggest Boston Pizza Tours if you’re visiting from out of town, or from Boston and looking for something different to do. Since the tours stop at different pizza places each time, I’d definitely do it again. and Livingsocial always has deals!

My husband and I just went on the North End/​Little Italy Tour this morning/​early afternoon. This was our first time to Boston, and really enjoyed learning about the North End, as well as some revolutionary history, as well as enjoying pizza along the way.
I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was fabulous and knew a lot of great historical information, as well as history of the North End area. This is a great tour to get your feet wet about history, and try out some really yummy pizza places. Our tour guide also let us know about other yummy restaurants and bakeries in the area to give a try!

My wife and I went on a Groupon last week. We had a good time and the other folks on our tour from Germany and Canada enjoyed themselves as well. The tour goes through the North end and mixes some history, neighborhood stories, and pizza. We definitely got a better feel and taste of the neighborhood than if we were on our own. I would recommend this tour to folks wanting to do something a little more offbeat than your run of the mill Boston tour.

We were running late for our 11am tour, but I called ahead and was pleasantly surprised when they said don’t worry just meet up with the guide at the first stop. They even texted me the address! Great customer service.
Great way to see the North End, but wouldn’t recommend it in cold weather since they aren’t able to fit the whole group inside at the pizzerias.

This is a walking tour which involves very little pizza. The walk to the first stop was nice and the tour guide was engaging with his talks about the historic parts of little Italy. Quattro’s pizza was delicious. The walk to the second stop was too long. This was not a stop at all but a pizza pick up at the famous Bravo’s 24 her bakery. The wait was long, the pizza was cold and tasted like bland dough. We hung in there because the last stop was a promise of a sit down restaurant where we could enjoy pizza and some wine. After another incredibly long up hill walk which was challenging for some members of the group we were told our last stop was packed so he would order more take out. We left at that point and found a nice sit down Italian eatery.

We found Boston PIzza Tours by way of Groupon, and had a great time. Our guide, Pat, was funny and informative; he spoke a bit fast, but we chalked it up to enthusiasm. Slices from Umberto’s, Ernesto’s and Regina were phenom and it was hard to choose a favorite, although Regina squeaked it out in the end. The historical portion of the tour was fascinating, and we were pleasantly surprised with a few extras — an info micro-​session at Old North Church and a Colonial chocolate-​making demonstration. We had a great time, and will definitely be looking into a Tavern Tour in the future!

This is a great way to see the historical north end of Boston. Our tour guide Pat mixed up the historical points along the tour with humor. The 3 slices of pizza that we had were fantastic. You can’t beat the history you get at Regina’s. He also led us after to local favorites of Bova’s Bakery and Mike’s Pastry.

We were in Boston for a high school journalism convention with 22 teens. We combined with another group to make the group total 40. It was a Saturday night and crowded with a lot of people out and about. So pretty much a recipe for disaster. But none of this seemed to phase our guide Pat. He handled the size of our group beautifully. The kids raved about the tour, and had a blast. It was the perfect amount history with humor, and some really good pizza. I would highly recommend this tour!

Great way to learn history and eat pizza. My only criticism would be to spend a little more time learning about the pizza and the restaurants rather than just eating pizza while learning about the North End. Still highly recommend.

We were in Boston for a long weekend and found Boston Pizza Tours on TripAdvisor. Our tour guide was Martin and he provided a fun historically infused tour of the North Side. We made 3 pizza stops that were great but also walked in between slices. It was a lot of fun and definitely a family friendly tour. Much recommended to families with young kids.
Please note: you will be very full by the end of this tour! And as the Cuban’s say… «barriga llena, corazon contento» or, a full belly equals a happy heart!

The tour itself is ok if you’re looking for your typical ‘here’s the old north church’ and ‘here is an obscure historic headstone’ kinda thing. The tour guides are really personable but I found it boring, overpriced, and kinda bootleg. They just brought a pizza to the group at 3 random park benches and told everyone to grab a slice. I personally figure you don’t really need a tour guide to find pizza shops in the north end… They’re everywhere.

Great Boston Tour for locals and tourists. Great chance to see some nooks and crannies of Boston that you may have already walked by 100 times… all while enjoying pizza and beer.
Starts in the North End and walk over to Charlestown with a ferry back to the North End. What better way to enjoy a sunny afternoon.
