Our full line of artisanal bakery products includes cupcakes, danishes, donuts, breads, pies, cookies and more. Everything is baked from scratch using the finest ingredients. All of our baking is done on our premises and is under the close supervision of owner and certified Master Baker Richard Stolz.

It’s not that easy to find a birthday cake for a diabetic. Supreme made a beautiful sugar free cake with blueberry filling and whipped cream icing. The 90 year recipient LOVED it. It was nicely decorated and enjoyed by all.

If I could give it less than one star I would. My girlfriend ordered a cake for a baby shower with explicit instructions to have the fondant blankets in Dallas Cowboy blue and Philadelphia Eagles green. She left sample swatches, (the team banners) as a color reference.
Today, a week later, she went to pick up the cake and not only the banners were wrong, the piping on the cake looks like it was done by an amateur!
When she spoke with the manager to see if she could get it corrected or at least a discounted price, the manager said that she couldn’t help her. Not only that, she discovered that the cake was recently made because fondant is suppose to have time to harden; the fondant blankets can be moved
We will not be going there again… subpar customer service

Cranberry scone was not sweet which is the way I like them, but wish it had more flavor. The chocolate croissant was really good — right amount of sweetness and not too heavy. Small seating area and good service.

This bakery displays poor customer service. They sell birthday cake that say Happy no birthday and with person’s name. What a way to ruin a birthday. Then you order a cake and pay for it. Only to say Happy Birthday and slice the cake with none of the fillings you ordered and paid for it. The Most They Could Offer Was A 5 Dollar Credit After Ruining A Child’s 10th AND 12th birthday. You can’t get those memories back. I wish they could have shown better customer service. Get your cake where they care that your celebrating something special.

Place is cute and clean, but unfortunately I had the cutest vision of bridesmaid proposal cupcakes that they couldn’t make come true. I’m sure their pastries are delicious, but I gave up on even trying to make an order because visually I needed more than just a basic cupcake.
Initially I left to go try other bakeries, but I ended up going back and I loved my cupcakes! They were so cute! Check the pic

Nice bakery with wide selection of breads and sweets. My favorite is the dossant, which is basically a cronut, but you don’t have to wait in line. Comes in glazed and chocolate covered — delicious.
Easy access off 280 too.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered two birthday cakes for my son and cousins birthday party. One was chocolate one was vanilla. Both were dry, crumbly and plain out yucky. My son’s first birthday party. If not for the ice cream, the cakes would’ve been inedible. I can’t understand all these raving reviews. I mean really. I don’t know what happened to this bakery, but never again.

This review is solely based on customer service. I grew up with Supreme Bakery. It’s kind of the standard place to order a cake because their delicacies are always top notch. I had a pretty crappy customer service experience here on Mother’s Day. My elderly grandma wanted to get a cake for her friend and we walked in and it was very crowded. Every employee was busy and none of them were controlling the crowd so people naturally made a very organized and quiet line around the bakery. All of a sudden a guy walks into the bakery and walks up to the nearest employee available to order something, I walk up behind him tell an employee «Sir, we’ve all made a line and we’re waiting». The employee tells us that we «put him in a bad position», I replied «look at this line we’ve all made.» The employee takes my grandmother’s order and I leave without ordering my baked goods because I was so turned off. As a foodie I know that good food comes a dime a dozen, what separates the good from the great is really the customer service. I don’t fault the employee as much as I fault the manager. Supreme Bakery needs an organized system to take care of their customers. The employees need to be trained to control/​organize/​acknowledge busy times or people should just take a number. It makes me uncomfortable to deal with petty conflicts when my only goal was to buy a cake.

We tried out Supreme because of a Groupon and were glad we did. Our favorite is the carrot cake cupcake and strawberry shortcake. Next time we need a cake for special events we’ll give them a try again. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Drawn in by the soup sign outside. When i went in they offered me a sample of their soup which i quickly agreed for (mushroom and potato). It was so good i had to get a large. Theres a fridge filled with different soups sold by the pt. They have a selection of cupcakes and pastries. They also supply tea and coffee and cakes. I picked my girlfriend a cupcake; the worker suggested the german chocolate cupcake which just came out of the back. My girlfriend said it was too good that we need to go back. This is a great find of a bakery in west orange! They also have chocolate covered strawberries so I’m probably going to get some for valentines day. Great place for breakfast and if you have a sweet tooth and a love for soup in the morning

Delicious cupcakes, very friendly and polite staff and a wide assortment of baked goodies. Bought a couple dozen cupcakes to a work party and everyone loved them. You can find them on Groupon as well.

Pretty good local bakery with a nice selection of bread, pastries, cakes and rolls.
My only gripe is that they seem to run out of bread early and I hate having to buy supermarket bread which is never as fresh.

Ah! Who can refuse a red velvet cupcake after a hard day at work? How about a dulce de leche or German chocolate one? I was in cupcake heaven this afternoon at this bakery. But just as good are their birthday cakes. I’ve had red velvet, carrot, maple walnut; you can custom order from a huge offering of cakes, fillings and frostings.
They also have nice breads and rolls. It can get busy here and parking is tight on Main Street, so park around the corner in one of the municipal metered lots.

Clean and bright, a comfortable bakery to sit down having coffee and spend your morning.
Came in with a living social deal. The girl who helped me was very nice and patient.
Busy in the morning, and there were many people behind me in line. I had the $ 15 for $ 30 deal, which turned out to be a big and time consuming order but they did not rush me.
I told them I wanted a dozen miniature fancy pastries mixed and placed nicely in a good looking box so I could bring them to a friend’s house for a lunch party.
I saw the girl very patiently selected the pastries and carefully placed them into the box without rush despite the long line behind me. Very good customer services and they were all friendly.
Although located on Main Street, there is a huge parking lot behind the bakery store and better yet, it’s 25 cents per hour meter parking!!!
I still prefer asian bakeries, cause I don’t like sweets. But if you are into sweet treats, you will definitely love this place.

I ordered my 30th birthday cake from here a week in advance. Blue velvet and butter cream filling with butter cream icing. It was perfect. They did everything just the way i ordered it. And my family loved it!!! Supreme has really improved over the years. They did my mom’s bday cake last year. That was good too. She had half red velvet and half blue velvet filling. I’ll continue using them for cakes!!!

I want to like it more than I do. Everything I’ve tried is just ok. Cookies, cakes, breads, even coffee are absolutely fine, but nothing is spectacular.
It’s a decent enough place to purchase a baked good to bring to a party, but its unlikely you’ll wow anybody.
Honestly, I’d just as soon pick something up from the local Shoprite. I’ve been more impressed by their stuff while leaving a few dollars in my pocket in the process.

I first heard about supreme from some of the girls at work, they raved about their cupcakes. Then they did a groupon deal for 30 bucks for 15 and decided I would buy it.
I then remembered I had this around my birthday and decided to get about 25 assorted cupcakes instead of a cake. Best decision I’ve ever made except the time I commissioned the local ice cream shop to make me a half sheet of pumpkin pie and gram cracker ice-​cream cake, but I digress. Everyone loved the cupcakes. The German chocolate cake was a particular favorite along with the lemon butterflies and the blue velvet. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t picked up a dozen for other events I’ve gone to.
As a side note I think if you buy a certain amount without a coupon they will give you a discount. The staff was also very friendly

When faced with another year of getting my daughter a birthday cake that looked a lot better than it tasted, I asked the interwebz to find me a custom cake maker near Verona. Welcome, Supreme Bakery and thank you.
We used an online cake maker to choose everything — the size, the type of frosting (whipped cream — excellent, so much better than buttercream), the type of cake (red velvet — spongy and packed with flavor) and the innards (fresh banana and strawberries — so perfect, pieces of strawberry throughout). We then added the text and clicked a few other things, paid, and our cake was ordered with a requested pickup time and date. It could not have been easier. They also have custom kids cakes and for $ 10 they will scan any picture onto edible paper to cover the cake. I called the day before to check on it and confirmed that it would be ready.
The cake was amazing. It was actually too good for most of the kids as most kids are used to supermarket cakes with buttercream and garbage, but that just meant more for the adults (*pauses review to go get leftovers). It was about $ 40 and probably could have fed at least 12 people at a minimum.
The store is centrally located right on Main St. in West Orange and is very nice inside — clean, orderly and full of sugary goodness everywhere. Tons of cupcakes, cakes, breads and muffins to stuff your morning face with. I didn’t get anything else because I was picking up a cake, but next time it seemed there were some blue velvet and coconut cupcakes with my name written all over them!
