Learning Prep School

My child just finished the 1^st year at LPS. So far, so good. I was hesitant to pick this school because of past financial mismanagement, and I know from experience that can effect kids and learning and tools for learning for the kids. But I assured that issue was resolved at my tour.
My child is happy, he was placed in easy classes and when we brought up to the school we believe the classes were to easy, they re-​assessed my child and bumped him up to a higher level within 2 months. Very pleased with the responsiveness, and the schools ability to listen to my concerns.
Honestly, this school has a lots of extra value added through the elective classes. They are not your basic elective classes — some are elaborate electives.
There is a real… Zero Tolerance for School Bullying… refreshing in today’s world. The kids and staff are both nice here.
Getting and keeping good teachers is the key to any schools success, they definitely have some good teachers, but there is one or two that are just OK teachers.
There has been some sudden teaching staff, or administrative changes. I bit concerning as a parent, but they appear to be a no-​nonsense school that has a certain quality level of staff. So it appears that is good. But 2 changes during a school year seems like a lot.
Overall, I am very happy so far. Child is learning, challenged, getting very good grades, and I feel he is safe and treated nicely by staff. That is a great experience.

My daughter has been going here for 4 years. At first the axiety of going to school was completely calmed down. Then when she started to learn the ways of new learning things became more enjoyable for her. With that became success and proud in ones self. Her self esteem started to blossom and became a happier child. She saw her grades improve and is just beaming. Now I am just dealing with the teenage social girl drama… and I will take this over anything else.
