The Krystal Company

I had never had Krystal or white castle for that matter so had to stop before I drove outside their area.
This location isn’t much to look at the bathroom was dirty. Service wasn’t slow but my order was messed up.
Taste wise it wasn’t necessarily bad but wasn’t that good either. It tasted strangely similar to the frozen white castle burgers I bought at the grocery store one time.

It was good. It has been years since I had a Krystal hamburger. It brings back memories.

Others complained about the slowness of getting orders we didn’t experience this and we has a party of 5 on a Saturday night. It took all of 7 ½ minutes. Order was correct hot and fresh. I knew what to expect having eaten at other similar burger joints that make the mini/​sliders and had an idea and my expectations were met. The chili cheese fries were satisfying. I only wished they would have used the same cheddar cheese on my burgers instead of the processed American slices. That was my only problem with the burgers was the type of cheese used.
Travan, our cashier was very helpful helping my wife and kids decide what to order. He was pleasantly polite. Only suggestion for him was that when my wife asked if the donut shop across the street was open he said, «nope, they’re closed.» I found them on help and called them and there open until 11PM!
Restrooms were clean, men & women’s. Restaurant was somewhat clean. The condiments needed to be stocked as well as the napkins and straws. Floor in dining area was a «little» greasy. But this is a fast food joint. My wife didn’t like the burgers but then again she thought it was going to be a regular style burger, which they do have on their menu. She did say the fries were really good though.
All in all decent place to stuff your face.

First time here. I thought it would be similar to White Castle. It is similar in that it’s got itty burgers or «sliders».
But the burgers cannot even compare. I LIKE White Castle burgers. It taste like a decent fast food burger, only mini. Krystal burgers were disgusting mush! The meat just squashed when I bit into it. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and only ate one. That’s how bad they are!
The french fries were very good. Almost as good a Mcdonald’s. Yum.

So slow!
6 o’clock on a Friday night, 3 customers in the place and it took an eternity to make a few tiny tiny burgers.
I know, this isn’t the Ritz, however it is a Krystal. They only make a few items with some practice they should make them well, or at least lousy and fast.
Service issues aside I really enjoy a steamy Krystal from time to time. I grew up on White Castle (which I still think is a better burger in the tiny genre) but this is the best slider option in the South.
I did enjoy some fantastic people watching during my wait.
