I have enrolled my 9 year old daughter in piano lessons. C-W was recommended to me by a co-worker and good friend. I am satisfied with my daughter’s teacher; she is patient, gentle, and encouraging. I believe my daughter will thrive under her supervision(Lan). There is a theory lab which allows the student to focus on the actual lesson. The teachers as well as the staff are congenial and easy to communicate with. I cannot stress how satisfied I am with this school and am very excited to see my daughter’s musical knowledge expand. The location is very close to our neighborhood and is very clean and comfortable. The website is manageable and easy to maneuver through. One thing I do not like is that it is not easy for me to bring my other daughter’s stroller up. Perhaps there is a wheelchair accessible route I am unaware of?

I took piano lessons from Clavier-Werke for eleven years(I am now in college). The teachers are passionate, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable. I always felt prepared when playing in a festival, competition, or recital due to their constructive comments. Starting as a beginner and emerging as an advanced player, my piano lessons helped me to improve throughout my time at Clavier-Werke. Clavier-Werke gave me the chance to play duet pieces and accompaniment parts. I was able to develop a strong foundation in piano thanks to Clavier-Werke. I would highly recommend Clavier-Werke to any music student!

Best music school in Austin, no contest. The instructors are imminently qualified and most(if not all?) are professional, frequently-performing musicians in their own right. Many opportunities are provided for students to perform in recitals and festivals. The importance of music theory is also stressed and many students receive VERY high marks on the(optional) yearly UT Music Theory test. Susan Allen(School Director) and Maggie Allen(Asst. Director) are two of the most gracious, lovely, and supportive women that you will ever meet. The amount of music knowledge that my children have accrued under the tutelage of this school is absolutely astounding. I have referred many friends and they have been happy, as well.

Looking for a piano school for your kid? Now that you are grown up — decided to take up piano? This is a great place. Full disclosure — Both my daughters took piano here. It is a fairly large studio — I just looked it up and they now have about a dozen piano teachers — plus some guitar and a cello teacher. There are maybe 10 or so rooms and when there are several lessons going on — it is great to sit in the lobby and listen to all the beautiful music wafting out. Chances to perform at recitals and competitions are available. They also have master classes with really great pianists — from universities and these are for dedicated students at all levels. A great school. There are enough teachers that you will certainly find one to suit you. They have a theory lab for beginner students. The large parking lot makes for easy parking.
