We are Texas Certified K12 Educators looking to extend STEAM learning beyond the walls of the classroom. As our society increasingly depends on science, technology, engineering, and math, our children need to understand these fields. Meet the Business Owner

Joya H.

Business Owner

Joya has 13 years experience as an innovative educator. She earned her BA from the University of Michigan in Elementary Education and went on to earn her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Oakland University. She has written and received numerous grants for books, field trips, and technology. She helped vertically align curriculum for Math and English Language Arts, served on the Strategic Planning Committee, and is constantly evolving, Joya has taught all subjects across grades K-​8. She began teaching in Michigan and moved to Texas to teach with KIPP in 2009. She was the Reading Specialist with Texarkana ISD and will be teaching 5^th grade in Lake Travis ISD this fall. She attended Texas A&M for Curriculum Design and Delivery and prides herself in helping students find their love for learning through hands-​on, authentic experiences and Project Based Learning.
