We are a home-​based private grooming salon. We specialize in one-​on-​one, personal, stress-​free grooming services. We provide a maintenance program in which your pet is pre-​booked every 2 or 3 weeks, or monthly to insure the pup is always in good condition.

History

Established in 2015.

We have been grooming since 2011, moving from salon to salon and apprenticing under different groomers in order to gain insight on different techniques and style in order to improve our own.

In February 2015 we took the plunge and began taking clients at home under the name «Best In Show». Since then, we can’t imagine grooming any other way.

We started Best In Show because we feel that every dog should feel like a show dog. We want to provide a personal, one-​on-​one service that allows us to bond with the dogs and their owners. Our goal is to run a business that we are proud of, that our clients trust, and that the dogs enjoy as much as we do.

Business Owner

My name is Tess Oliver and I am the owner/​groomer here at Best In Show.

I am an aspiring Shetland Sheepdog exhibitor and spend my free time traveling to dog shows to help breeders/​handlers groom their dogs. I also volunteer for the Mid-​Florida Sheltie Rescue by pulling dogs from the shelter, grooming them, and transporting them to their foster parents where they will live happily until they find their furever home.

I am registered with the NDGAA and will begin my journey towards becoming a National Certified Master Groomer in October 2015 with long-​legged terriers. I will also be competing in an all-​other-​purebred grooming competition the same weekend.
