Today was my first time here in order to groom my 4-​month old pup Sophie. From the moment we arrived at 11am, it seemed everyone was lost. While handing the new dog form already filled out to the front desk girl, she still couldn’t realize it was our first time there and was looking for my name in the system, which was obviously not there. Next, she introduced us to our groomer, Ricardo who asked us what we’d like as we proceeded to specify to keep her fluffy all around. The front desk receptionist told me she’d be done in 3 – 4 hours and I asked her to please be as realistic as possible (as I do understand the concept of under promising and over delivering) but we had her first puppy pet visit scheduled 3 hours after the grooming time. So, to be safe I rescheduled the vet visit and of course to no surprise, they called me 2 hours later to state she was ready. Of course, ready in time that she could’ve arrived at her vet appt. Nonetheless, I arrived to pick her up and they brought her to me with a blue bandana. SHE had a blue bandana. That made no sense to me as SHE is a FEMALE. I kindly asked for them to change it so they did. Never at one point, did I see Ricardo to ask me how I liked the cut (which I didn’t) and the front desk girl didn’t care to ask me either. Thankfully, Sophie doesn’t know what a mirror is but I am hoping her hair grows back soon and I will definitely not be returning to this business.

I’m so happy I found this place. I have a toy poodle that just turned four years old last month with a bit of skin sensitivity to certain products. After reading the amazing reviews, I decided to take her in for a haircut and bath. The staff did exactly what I asked for and she looked happy when I picked her up. The actual place is super clean and smells wonderfully. Not going to look anywhere else for grooming! Six star treatment!

This was my first time at the shop, I went in for grooming. The price is pretty average for grooming. They did a great job with my dog’s bath, totally looked clean and fresh! Customer service was great! Looking forward to going again, my dog loved it!!!

I brought my Australian Shepherd in to get some of his leg fluff trimmed. I explained to the front desk person, who then translated to the groomer, that I just wanted enough trimmed to keep him from getting poop on his fur. I also asked to have some of the longer hairs on one side of his face trimmed to match the length of the other side. Well, when I picked him up, they had trimmed 4 to 6 inches off of his leg fluff and sloppily hacked up both sides of his face. It’ll take months for him to grow his fur back to where he’ll look like an Aussie again. Needless to say, I won’t be going back, although, with the amount of fur they cut off, he won’t need to see a groomer again for about a year.

For some of you it can be very difficult to find a place to properly take your beloved pet, give him as much love and attention as you do, AND do it at a fair price. But Pepe Le Pooche has defiantly been the best place yet for me to take my puppy. The staff is very nice and quick to make sure my puppy gets the best care. they sent me pics of my puppy throughout the day and played with him. They also fed him and took him out throughout the day! Also, you can’t beat the prices for daycare. Unfortunately, i wasn’t able to get Toby groomed but i can only say from observing and seeing other dogs being groomed, and they looked very cute and well taken care of. I defiantly recommend this place.

Went to Pepe le pooche with my little roqui. So happy with the experience treated my little boy like a king! I was worried since he’s old and moody that he will be a handful but he was a knockout with the ladies haha! He fell in love with the wooden bed that was on sale. Forgot the name and would like info on price might get it for him thanks and will come again for his monthly bath! :)

Due to the owner reaching out and improved service on my last few visits. I feel they deserve a better rating. The last groomer did an amazing job!

This is simply to address your responses in the order which you have stated them. First, the «upmost care» was not taken. Otherwise, there would have been no purpose for my original post. Second, the fact that Lourdes took the blade down the back of my dog’s tail, straight down his anus, and right through his testicles, leaving that area bald, bruised and severely irritated is indisputable proof that there was «violence and or aggression» in the way she treated my dog. Next, while I am glad you called several vets, I can tell you that you were misinformed. I too contacted our vet. Luckily, there is nothing medically wrong with my dog. However, his change in behavior is a direct result of the experience with your groomer. As for his black testicles, it is, in fact, a hematoma or bruise, which was caused by the «violence and or aggression» in the way Lourdes groomed that area. His anus was severely irritated to the point of not wanting to sit or walk. Also, you mentioned his behavior being common because he may feel different after such a short haircut. How insulting for you to minimize what happened to my dog by deflecting from the facts and blaming all of this on a «bad haircut «, as if my dog could tell he looks like a lizard. Moreover, I never mentioned how Vanessa groomed my dog. I stated that «the visit was excellent»…meaning my dog came home happy and had no issues whatsoever… meaning it was evident that Vanessa treated my dog with the kindness and patience he deserved… and she did give my dog an awesome cut. About returning for another try… uh…no. I don’t think he would like being taken back there. In addition, the fact that you apologize and make excuses at the same time is a bit unsettling to me. I simply don’t trust you. You have given justifications for everything in addition to mentioning your «good standing with Unilocal,Angie’s List, Google, etc»…what does any of that have to do with my dog’s experience??? While I ws truly pleased with what appeared to be genuine concern during our phone conversation, I was saddened that your reply was simply an attempt to save face, which is the only reason why I needed to respond. I had to make sure that my dog’s experiece was not minimized in the least. I am entitled to give a negative review. It is the only voice I can give my dog, since he is the one who suffered the ordeal. Sometimes, as a business owner, you have to fully accept the wrong doings of your employees and just be 100% truly sorry… no excuses… no justifications… no reasons for this or that. The fact remains… my dog left your place hurt and traumatized.

I brought my miniature schnauzer to this groomer after trying out several other places, and Pepe Le Pooche is by far the best. It is very clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and the customer service is excellent. You can tell that they really care about the dogs that come in.
I had one negative experience a few weeks ago in which a replacement groomer (I think he was new) did a less than satisfactory job on my puppy. Her haircut was choppy and was not up to the standards I was used to at Pepe Le Pooche. I called them and they told me to bring her in the next day. When I brought her to the salon, Lourdes, the head groomer, took one look at her and apologized for the poor grooming. She then cut my puppy’s hair to perfection right in front of me and at not cost! She took her time and made sure it was perfect, even though she had other dogs to groom and it was a busy day. My puppy came out looking flawless!
Unfortunately, I moved away to college and brought my puppy with me. I wish there was a place like this where I live. When I come visit Miami, I’ll definitely bring my puppy back!

We absolutely love this place! So sad we moved up to the Orlando area and not being able to take our dogs here anymore. They have a awesome day care service that is cageless all day I even got pictures all the time to see how my pups were doing. I have three huskies and every time we walked in they knew them and my dogs were super comfortable with the people there. I cannot trust my dogs anywhere else but here. Every time we went on vacation they always stayed here, and that is a lot from me because I know how some groomers/​employees like to yell at your dog, but no they treat them like babies and I’m definitely missing this place as we speak!

My family takes a week long vacation every year to a place that is awesome except for the fact that pets are not allowed and thus I must go without my beloved Belgian Malinois, Echo, for a full 7 days. Despite having incredible friends and a mother-​in-​law who step up to take care of the mini zoo I have at home, Echo is a handful and would need to remain crated most of the day if left at home, which is obviously not how I want my baby spending her week away from me. So last year when Echo was just a few months old, I left her at Pepe Le Pooch Resort & Spa for the week and was so pleased with their boarding service that I used them again just last week for this year’s vacation.
I am happy with their services for a variety of reasons. First of all, they use rooms instead of cages so it’s definitely an improvement to traditional kennels where dogs spend most of their day in a cage, which she could just as easily do at home. Their rooms are offered in 3 different sizes and each has a clear door so that the dogs can see out and caretakers can see in. They provide pretty much everything from leashes to bowls, blankets, and bedding. Food is not included so you need to either bring your own for the duration of the stay or pay an extra daily fee of $ 5 for them to provide the food. They take dogs on several walks a day and give them open playtime with other canine guests as long as they play well with others. I also love that they send pics of your pooch via text every day. An exit bath is required and the cost is factored into the total.
It’s not the cheapest boarding option but in my opinion it is well worth the money. When I dropped Echo off last week, she apparently remembered it from last year and was excited to be there. When I picked her up, her nails had been trimmed, she smelled great, and seemed to be a happy camper. I will definitely board her here every year without hesitation. If you are looking for a home away from home for your pooch, I highly recommend giving them a try.

I have a toy Eskimo breed (similar look to the Pomeranian).
I had just recently finished the process of moving and my poor dog was neglected, his coat was almost completely matted. I was almost positive they would return him to me looking like a chihuahua — since most spas do not know how to give a proper lion cut and with the condition of my dogs coat i was convinced they wouldnt either. BUT the young ladys did an AMAZING JOB this was literally the best experience and results i have gotten with my dogs grooming.
It is the very first time i am completely satisfied with my dogs grooming and left the spa knowing i would return for regular maintenance.
Prices as well are reasonable not anything over the norm of what most grooming spas charge.

Tried this groomer after leaving my previous groomer of over 13 years, and I must say I was overall pleased with the location, turnaround time, and hair cut of my pup. Janet helped me out and she was great!
The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because I asked for a Mohawk, and when they returned my pooch, no Mohawk was delivered, but overall the quality of her fur looks better and after a couple of days she still smells nice.
I’ll definitely be back.

They are very nice and did a great job grooming my Havanese, Maltese and Rottweiler.
I highly recommend their teeth cleaning service. The Maltese and Rottweiler teeth looked beautiful afterwards. As soon as the dentist is back I’ll be taking the Havanese in.

Just picked up my Kota le Pooche from boarding her over the weekend while Mommy and Daddy went on a cruise. She ran out happy, clean (exit baths are required), smelling like a flower, but a bit lethargic.
Pepe Le Pooche is very clean from what I saw in the store and even behind the scenes where the pup hotel is. Each pup had their own room with a bed and water bowl. There was no need to take a bed, water and food bowls because they were provided at the resort! What I liked about the pup accommodations is that there are no cages and the rooms have glass doors so that our little furry family can look beyond the room there were in.
Staff members were extremely friendly and sent pictures of my dog while my husband and I were vacationing. It was nice to see pictures of my Kota monster out for walks, in her boarding room and in the «open play area.» I wish they would have a live feed on the premises so that I could periodically check on my pup or even video footage of my pup playing in the open play area or out for a walk, but in the meantime, pictures are a nice touch.
When boarding your furry family, Pepe Le Pooche has staff that will walk your dog 3 – 5 times daily and have 1:1 play time.
Other pups at Pepe Le Pooche looked very happy, which was a great sign!
The only downside to the place is that it is small and it seems that the amount of dogs for the area is tight. Dogs are paired with other dogs for playtime since the space is limited. So although your doggy boarding is cage-​less (which it is since there are rooms, not cages), your pup doesn’t roam free throughout the day. Also, because they have so many dogs in such a confined area, it is LOUD! My pup is a rescue and since being rescued she has lived with me in a quiet environment. So I think my pup was a little overwhelmed from all the other cute pooches barking nonstop… it’s probably the reason why she was so tired and slept the entire day the day we picked her up.
Make sure you have all your pups belongings when you leave. When I got home, I noticed my pups rope toy was not in her bag. My mistake for not checking the bag and the staffs oversight for leaving out Kota’s toy, but Kota hopes that her toy will bring other pups happiness in the Pepe Le Pooche Resort & Spa. (yep, that’s what she told me)
Overall, Kota and I had a good experience. I would definitely recommend Pepe Le Pooche to board your furry family.

I always take my dogs here. They bathe them and made haircut. They work really well, and my dogs get out looking really good. And it is not as expensive as other places. Oh, and the service is cage free, so they don’t get out as stressed as on other places. I really recommend this place.

Found a special for them on Groupon & glad I did. I have a shitzu & anywhere I would take her to get a haircut she would get traumatized, scared, & scratch me. From my very first experience at Pepe my shihtzu would walk all around the store, when I would hand her over to the girl behind the counter she goes to them with no problem & when i pick her up she looks adorable.

I brought my little toy maltipoo for the first time when we got her, and it was awesome. The owner seems very knowledgeable about her care n help us a lot w the switching of the food. My puppy looked n smell amazing.
I brought her again in 2 weeks for a complete grooming, except this time we got a little upset bc they gave an appt n it took them 6 hours to do her. I was not expecting to leave her there so long. They literally gave us n appt but took 6 hrs. Then what is the appt for? The service still came out amazing no problem there. However, i did notice my puppy was too mellow n strange. She is usually very hipper. N was too settle down for the way she is. It took her few more hours to get back to the way she is. Im starting to wonder if they gave her something. My husband states no more Pepe Lepooche but im not sure.
Definitely need to do something about those appts.
Overall my puppy looks great, smells awesome n was very good cleaned. The problem here is w the humans.

I can only speak regarding the store front as we did not come in for a shampoo or cut.
Excellent service and I’m blown away by their pricing especially for their dog foods. Acana which is Heisenberg’s (my Boston terrier) current brand is priced lower than anywhere else in Miami. The costumer service was great and I appreciated the fact that the sales person seemed knowledgeable about their product line. Will definitely come back, don’t forget to pick up a bully stick!

They are always professional, take care of me right away,
And have people who know what there doing and do it the right way!
My dog looks awesome and they don’t mind her screaming !
