My sister in law introduced this to me when I first came to visit Utah & I’m so glad she did! It is absolutely delicious!!! Both times I’ve been I have made my own salad & got the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich. I can’t bring myself to try all the other amazing things because this combo has me hooked! The meal also comes with bread & a chocolate covered strawberry. It does get pretty busy around lunch time though. I’d say if you’re in the West Jordan area definitely stop by & check them out!

Came here with a couple of friends for a late lunch. This place wasn’t that packed and the staff here was super friendly. It is like the zupas you see everywhere. The food here taste the same. What made it great was how friendly the staff was. The staff greeted me very nicely and took my order efficiently. I got the half salad and half soup. protein salad and chicken tortilla soup. The salad was alright for me because there was goat cheese in it and I don’t really like goat cheese. The soup was delicious. Plenty of beans in it though. I asked for an extra strawberry and the staff actually picked out the biggest strawberry for me. Of course I had to pay a bit extra. All in all, it was a great experience here. Totally recommend this place for a light healthy lunch/dinner.

Love the food. The experience was horrible. We had a take out order for 4. When asked how many we had they sent us through the line, straight to the register. Awesome! Not. They told us it will be 15 to 20 minutes for our simple order. We agreed to wait, which turned into 35 minutes. I don’t understand why they do this, especially with no explanation at the beginning of the line. Absolutely stupid and ridiculous. I guess only order 2 or 3 at a time and neat their idiotic system.

I like the food here and in the past I had no problems getting in and out unsatisfied but today it was not the case, it wasn’t really busy yet I felt like they were rushing our order I ordered the tomato basil half size and my bf ordered the roast lobster bisque and usually they would fill it to the rim the girl that filled the soup didn’t fill it all the way in fact she only filled half of the cup it looked like someone had ate or spill some of it anyways I was like whatever no big deal got to the check out the cashier accidentally knocked it over and spill some wiped some of the soup off her apron instead of washing her hands didn’t even bother to get me a new one or refill the soup at least seriously what is the rush? Not going to say I won’t be back because I really like their soup and sandwiches here plus it’s close to my home but probably not going to eat here for awhile. Not everyday will be perfect service might suck a little but the food is still good. Hope for a better experience next time.

I don’t like that I have to pay basically $ 12 for a darn salad just because their so cheap with their food. Extra is $ 3.00 for just extra mango on my mango berry salad. Everything is measured. I rather go to kneaders. A salad is like a kids meal size.

It’s really not easy to eat healthy in ‘Murica and Zupas isn’t exactly health food, either. But it’s a helluva lot better for my body than the food-type-substances you get at most fast food places and it doesn’t cost much more than them. I always get the«Try 2 combo» which means any two of sammie, soup, salad. Most of the soups are way too salty, so I usually get sandwich and salad, but you can sample the soup first, to avoid any surprises. My two choices are accompanied by a piece of bread and a choco-dipped strawberry and the whole thing sets me back less than $ 10. I always leave satisfied and I don’t ever have that sickly, gut-bomb, feeling that I get after eating drive-thru«food.» The ingredients here always taste fresh, even if they contain lots of GMO’s, came from a factory farm, in the back of a semi, via Sysco or some other gimongous warehouser. Unless you grown your own food, this is healthy dining in 2015, so you might as well enjoy it. Go here. Get Fuel. You’re welcome.

I have gone to Zuppas quite a bit over the past couple of years and have usually enjoyed it. Their soups and sandwiches are pretty tasty albeit slightly overpriced. I really like the clam chowder and the pork sandwich is quite good. The following experience is why I have rated Zuppa’s a two star: This past Friday at 2pm I was trying to feed my son and his friend a late lunch in between games at a soccer tournament. I was ordering it to go and also was picking something up for my wife. When it was my turn to order the person making the food asked how many. I responded that we were ordering for four and that we needed it to go. He said no problem. You can skip the line and go right down to the register. I did so and told the cashier that I would be ordering 4 to go orders. Much to my surprise she responded«we can have those ready in 30 minutes.» Really??? Thanks for letting me skip the line. I told her that wouldn’t work because we had to get back to the soccer tournament. I proceeded back in line and waited again for my turn. This time I told the person that I wasn’t going to «skip the line» because I couldn’t wait 30 minutes. Keep in mind the restaurant wasn’t very crowded at 2pm. He told me it was policy that if we were ordering a to go order for more than 3 people then we had to order at the cash register and wait. My clever solution – I only ordered for 3 people. We combined a meal. Kind of a pain but better than waiting 30 minutes. And the bad experience didn’t stop there. When we got back to the soccer tournament we noticed that we didn’t have any utensils or napkins. I thought all restaurants provided utensils and napkins on to go orders or at least told you where to pick them up. This didn’t happen so my wife ate her salad with her fingers and the rest of us drank or soups. Not he worst thing in the world but still a let down. I understand that this policy wasn’t thought up and implemented by the employees so this review is directed at management. If you have a to go order policy then post it in the restaurant. Don’t put your employees in an awkward situation where they take an excited customer and turn him or her into a disgruntled customer.

I am from California. Wish we had Café Zupas. This place is great! The young man greeted us at the door and went quickly through the menu with us. We ordered and they make it quick. Have quite a variety of soups and they all looked great. I had tomato and it was delicious. They have pick 2 options with salad/soup/sandwich choices. Then, they give you nice piece of bread and chocolate strawberry with your meal. Ihad Strawberry salad and recommend it. If you pick a sandwich beware it’s a whole sandwich and another item. You are full when you leave. The staff is very efficient and fast. Great service and very comfortable eating environment. Great price for the value. Highly recommend!

Always love Café Zupas. Had the cauliflower cheddar soup mixed with the mushroom bisque. That’s right. I mixed them both in one bowl and it was amazing. And on the combo I also ordered a half chicken luau salad(new). So delish with pineapple, mangos and mandarin oranges. The chocolate hazelnut dessert was the perfect ending!

This is by far the best food I’ve had on our entire trip from Washington to Colorado. Absolutely outstanding soup, sandwich, and salad. Friendly staff and great experience overall.

The soup is good and so are the sandwiches. What’s not good is the price. I can go to a higher end, sit down location that has servers for the prices of food here. I paid like 10.99 for a half sandwich and cup of soup. Seems like a rip. Not sure why people come here over pretty much any other location.

BBQ pulled pork sandwich with no honey mustard or cabbage slaw is my favorite. I keep saying I will try a different sandwich next time but I can’t resist this sandwich! The tomato basil or mushroom bisque are my favorite soups. Service is always very fast and friendly. I have a hard time hearing the workers sometimes-the music could be turned down!

This place is amazing. Had the turkey cranberry sandwich and mushroom bisque. Good thing they give you some bread to soak up all the soup. Everything is so fresh. And comes with a huge beautiful chocolate covered strawberry. All the employees were amazing too. Met us as we walked in. Gave suggestions. Checked on us. Super nice and helpful. My new favorite place I think!!!

Almost always get sandwich and soup but this time got a salad and soup. It did not disappoint but the sandwich option is better. I love the soup and always get the clam chowder or the lobster bisque.

I’ve given up with Zupas last year my sister got food poison with their Turkey Panini the one in West Valley. The last two times I went here always my salad was way to sweet and had a sour after taste and didn’t look fresh.

To whom it may concern, I was in your West Jordan Landing location this morning and the customer service was awful. All I wanted was a couple of soups. When I went in I asked for the chicken enchilada, she replied it wasn’t ready. I then asked if any of the lobster soups were ready and she said no to that as well. Finally found the chicken tortilla was ready so I ordered that. Then I noticed that the red pepper lobster had a pot in it. So I asked about it and she replied yeah that’s ready. Huh… Since I had just asked about it and she told me it wasn’t. Got my two full order of soups. I got a 4oz cup of tortillas or my full order of soup! Is that seriously normal? Then she went to get my bread and strawberries only to tell me that the strawberries were not ready. I said okay I’ll take extra piece of bread, she said okay, and was going to give it to me until someone from behind her told her no that I would need to be charged for it. I had already paid. That girl was very very rude about it. I eat lunch at Zupas at least 1 a week at a different location. First and last time I’ll ever eat at this location and honestly not sure if I’ll ever go back to Zupas after this awful experience. I feel customer service really needs to improve at this location

Another Zupas Failure. Every time I go to Zupas they seem to get my food wrong. It’s extremely loud when you order so I’m not surprised they didn’t hear me. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich with no tomatoes and the Thai chili salad with no peppers and sure enough they both came with them. And another thing, how come I have to repeat my order to all four people that my food slides by. I just want to say it once and be done.

A word about soup. Good soup is like a good hug. It wraps you up completely, but instead of constricting you it makes you feel like you’re free. It lights up your imagination with possibilities and warms you fully, totally and completely. Good soup, like a good hug, holds the promise of every cozy winter day spent by the fire and every expression of comfort you can imagine. When you find that one, perfect bowl of soup you’ve been waiting for you just can’t help but exclaim, «It’s really you!» Well, soup fans. It’s probably not coming from Café Zupas. But the chances of always having that soup are pretty slim, so you might duck in here for something that keeps your belly warm until you can get back to grandma’s chicken noodle or that clam chowder by the wharf that you’re looking for. As for me, I’m not so sure I’m sold on the substitute soup. Sure, there’s plenty of variety here – tomato basil, clam chowder, Mexican tortilla, bisques(a wild mushroom that’s kinda tasty), and chili. With it being soup season I suppose I’ll pop in eventually and try out a few flavors. But I dunno if I’ll be exclaiming, «It’s really you!» about any of their flavors. If soup’s not your thing, they do have a bunch of salads, sandwiches, paninis, and some desserts that were screaming my name more than anything. Dessert is a whole other subject(I’m off desserts of any kind for a while – not because I don’t love them, but because I over-indulged and it’s going to be a looong while before it will be healthy for me to think about them again) but between the cheesecake, regular cakes, and other chocolate/fruit/sugared delights, there’s plenty to choose from. It’s not likely you’ll find the soup hug you’ve always longed for(that seems to always come when you least expect it and in surprising ways) but Zupas has got you covered for a quick, affordable soup pat on the back.
