We are a boutique electronics retailer and service provider. We sell and install TVs, Blu-​Ray players, AV Receivers, Speakers, Network Audio & Video electronics and more.

Rent monitors or TVs up to 80″ for a special event, party or corporate presentation.

We also specialize in corporate electronic gifting, sweepstakes solutions and digital signage for retail and restaurants!

We don’t have a brick & mortar store. This allows us to provide greater savings to you with personalized one on one service!

History

Established in 2006.

I have worked in the cable television industry and produced websites for ABC Television and PowerBar. Electronics and gaming have always been a love of mine since I got my first pong game as a child. In 2006, I decided to parter with a sucessful general contractor who is now my general manager.

We take pride in providing support on the products we sell and install long after your purchase. We are availalbe to every client to answer questions they may have as they begin to use their new electronics. We will also be there to assist you should you have any trouble or need help having your electronics serviced.

I’m a former general contractor who has done compete tear downs, rebuilds, or home improvements in over 200 homes in the Los Angeles area.

I’ve been Vivid Visuals and Sound’s general manager since 2008. I’m your first point of contact who will assess your location for an estimate and will be the next face you’ll see when you are ready for your install.

What you can count on from me is personable service, cleanliness and a professional install.

Where are 10 stars when you need them?! The most humble, kind, professional guys ever. Mark and Ken showed up to install camera’s for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I got a few quotes on rates before I called them, so I knew what to base the price around, but its safe to say, they were the fairest of them all. Given that they had to do so much work, I was blown away by their knoweldge, experience, and overall work ethic. I wish there were more companies who would go above and beyond for their clients. Ken and Mark, you are the best!

These guys are really great! Friendly, responsive, extremely knowledgeable and really just sweet fun guys! They have mounted our TV’s in past home and our current home. We live a century-​old home with lap & mortar walls and they very fragile. They totally understood and took special care with installation. It’s very difficult to find a company who is both reliable and knowledgeable with the technology & equipment. Would not go to anyone else now.

You CAN’T go wrong with Ken and Mark! I meant to do this write-​up when they were here over a year ago but time slipped away. But if memory serves correct, they came to our condo and inspected an already-installed-by-previous-owner-5.1-surround-system whereby we needed to purchase the proper equipment to utilize it fully. They provided us with a range of options and gave us their recommendations for our specific set-​up. We went with their suggestions and, now over a year later, everything still works and sounds spectacular! They were professional yet friendly and casual, which i prefer. They tolerated our questions with patience, good humor and insight. And above and beyond all of their wonderful technical expertise in the field of electronics, they were solid, dependable, good-​natured fellas! Don’t waste your time fielding other half-​ass operations, go with these PROS!

I would give them 10 starts if I could! Ken and Mark are genuine pros!!! And we should know. My husband and I have suffered through one inadequate stereo installation after another. Our entertainment system has never really worked properly. Our speakers were not correctly balanced, our movies wouldn’t download, everyone kept blaming our equipment, tell us that we needed newer and more expensive receivers. It was NONE of that. The only thing wrong was that they weren’t being installed properly. Now we get gorgeous sound and our movie download in a flash. Our High Def is even working! Mark told me last time he was here that you can’t let your queue fill with recordings because, when it gets too full, the files become compressed to store them and you lose a lot of quality. I never knew that! I wouldn’t look any further. You can hire Mark and Ken with 100% confidence. They are also fast and efficient and such a pleasure to have around :-)

This is the place. I went to Inner Media first and it was a year of expensive appointment after appointment and not getting things right. Mark just came over and for a hundred bucks fixed every problem I had. And there were a lot. I can’t thank them enough.

honestly, i cannot imagine a world where somebody would have any sort of criticism for these guys. if my wife was cool with it, id have them move in to the guest room and just constantly improve and upgrade and recalibrate and whatever to every media based electronic in our house. i would buy new appliances every week until our house looked like a best buy just to give them more projects.
speaking of best buy– these guys came in and undid every ridiculous, sloppy and superfluous thing that the geek squad did when initially setting up both our entire home theatre and living room entertainment centers. we have everything from sonos to a 3d projector and STILL had no idea the expansive quality potential we’ve been blindly sitting on the past few years. and their prices are spot on. these guys are fair. if there’s any surprise at all when they bill you, its the surprise of not getting screwed.
true story– i almost added fifty bucks when i wrote ken the check today because he absolutely deserved it and completely undercharged me. but then i remembered how cheap i am so i didnt. then i felt guilty so i wrote this review.
i always wonder if Unilocal reviews like this are written by people with some sort of connection to said business. i have none. i found them on Unilocal just like you did. i wish we knew each other so youd just trust me and call. At the time of this review, Vivid Visuals and Sound has 14 reviews and they’re all 5 stars. That tells you about all you need to know, especially in a service-​type industry where there’s almost always some percentage of crazy people who just like to complain. Anyway, the point is that Ken and Mark are great — both in competency and customer service. If you live in their territory, you’d be crazy to look elsewhere.
I initially requested their services to mount a 55″ tv and soundbar. They did such a great job and were so pleasant to work with that I asked them to stick around and mount a second TV. Both installations went great; cords perfectly hidden in the wall, power strip cleanly mounted, mess cleaned up, etc. I would have been happy right there but they went the extra mile and stuck around to calibrate the TV’s to ensure I was getting the most from my setup.
Zero complaints and compliments galore for these guys.

Ken and Mark far exceeded my expectations for installing my TV on my wall. I live in an old building and the chances for the wall to crack were pretty high. Also, my flat screen is quite old and weighs a ton! I have had my TV on my wall for almost a year and haven’t had one issue. The install was perfect – no cracks, they centered the TV perfectly on my wall, they were fast and not one cord is visible. I will definitely be using them again once I upgrade to a newer TV and have also referred several friends to Vivid Visuals.

Unilocal did not fail me! Ken & Mark were awesome to work with from the quote process through the completion of work. Very responsive, quick to schedule an appointment and did high quality, clean work. I had them clean up a wire mess on a tricky stone fireplace set up, install a sound bar, mount a TV and they will be relocating a bunch of wireless contraptions to a closet for me. They did all of this right before Xmas, when things are insane with everyone buying new TVs etc. I would highly recommend them and they will do all future AV work in this house or our next.

They gave me a home cinema. :)
I gave them my budget, they gave me options and worked with me on the ones I wanted to make sure we came in below my budget. They walked me through everything making sure I knew what was what.
Then they seemingly waved a magic wand and one of my living rooms was transformed into a 3D home cinema. No wires showing, all internet connected, everything sleek, tidy and just gorgeous. The place even has its own Facebook page now because it has become so popular. :)
I would trust these fellas with any job. They were kind, considerate, professional and funny.

Mark and Ken are amazing.
I’d hired someone who was cheap and said all the right stuff on the phone but made a mess of the job. These guys are smart, conscientious, and thorough. Some issues arose that weren’t covered in the quote and they worked several hours over but only charged me for one.
At every stage they laid out all the options with all the pro’s and cons. For the service they provide their prices are really reasonable. Having felt jerked around by other salesmen and install guys, it was a relief and a pleasure to work with Vivid.
Anytime you have a question or need support they are available even after the job is finished. I would use them again in a second.

It was a wonderful experience working with Mark and Ken! They’ve been great from the start. Had a new house with a need to setup some surround speakers, mount a few tv’s, and some outdoor speakers. They walked through with me before doing anything, they also worked with my budget to get the most bang for the buck. They still have to install two outdoor speakers but everything else has been great! Will recommend to anyone needing audio/​visual help in future!

V. V & S. installed my home entertainment system. I love it. They even coordinated my installation while I was in Europe so I came home and it wall all done.
