INSTALLutions was birthed to nullify the ideal that there is always deficiency in the services area of Audio/​Video companies. I wanted to assist in being the change against the stigma that serviceman were late, rude, and overall unprofessional.

When I launched INSTALLutions, my main focuses were product knowledge, install efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. These focuses have been the fuel for the business’ success over the past 5 years.

I love James! He is a good and well-​balanced person. I trust him. What I like so much is that I know he is doing a good job and I don’t have to worry or chase him around with phone calls, etc. He does good follow-​up. His prices seem very good. He even recommended a TV for me and I previewed it at Best Buy and the knowledgeable representative told me it was his favorite TV ever! The 4k is amazing, like traveling the world from my livingroom! James was able to get it for even less than the sale price at Best Buy. I first met James when he dutifully provided a quote for a lobby camera for my condo. He is great! Thank you James!

It doesn’t get better than this. This is the company and personnel we all wish for every time we need something done! We have had James back 3 times for 3 different jobs. First to install our television, then to hang an enormous painting in a tough spot and finally to install a full sound system in the house. Each time he was personal, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. I rarely write Unilocal reviews but this needed to be said. I’d give extra stars if I could.

Amazing service! Called him late afternoon on Friday and we were able to schedule him to come out on a Tuesday morning. He was able to accommodate my early work schedule and came early enough to have the project ready in time for me to get to work. I had him mount two tvs, one 60″ and the other 65″. He did a magnificent job on both! Very professional and shows true pride of workmanship.
I definitely recommend him to everybody looking to have their tvs mounted. He told me he also does full on home theater installations! Might have him come out again to tackle that!

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with James and Installutions. My husband and I wanted to install security cameras on our home. I called James and he was able to make it out quickly to give us a bid, which I found to be very reasonable. He had everything installed within a week spending a great deal of time making sure it was all done correctly. Then when we had an issue with one of the cameras at night time he came over several times to fix it and make sure it was right. He is a great communicator, has wonderful customer service and is an all around nice guy. We will be recommending him to anyone we know who requires the types of services he delivers and will absolutely use him again in the future.

I’ve had two great experiences with Installutions. I had James mount my television back in September as a surprise for my boyfriend and he did a great job. If there’s anything in life that frazzles my nerves, I’d say it’s technology. I called
Installutions, based on a colleague’s recommendation and was delighted with the outcome. James arrived promptly and with a smile on his face. He carefully listened to our technology challenges and went about solving them. He was patient, hard working and also had an excellent sense of humor. He made me feel at ease around the tech issues and also was never patronizing with my lack of expertise. His price was very fair and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. I was looking for the someone who can install the security cameras at my house. It was very complicated project. I called him for the first time after I saw the Unilocal review. Although I called almost 7PM on night, he was very polite and patient listening my request. We probably talked about 20 – 30 mins.
I have contacted with few other companies and kinnna got idea of the installation cost which is very expensive. I was having headache that I couldn’t afford that much. However James was different. He gave me idea that he can come to take a look my place and let’s see what he can do in my budget. Although my budget was very limited, he was very professional and thoughtful response on the phone.
Also I had very tight schedule, and had difficult time to make appointment with him, he tried to adjust his time to my schedule.
I got some other issue came up and couldn’t place order to him, but hopefully next time.

Unbeatable! Excellent service, complete professionalism, and James’ knowledge and experience show with each project. I’ve known him for a long time and when I found out he did audio and video work, I started hiring him to do my stuff for me and I’m a music/​audio professional. James Robinson, owner of Installutions does amazing work. James is professional, knowledgeable, patient & PROMPT. My appointment was on 6÷2÷14 at 8am and James arrived on time. I told/​showed James what I wanted and after a quick run to pick up some hardware, James got down to business. Before any drilling or outlet installation James showed me exactly where my equipment would be placed — ensuring we were on the same page. James stayed focused on the job at hand. I’ve had service providers come to my home and spend half their time on the phone… receiving/​making calls. Not James — never made/​received a call while in my home. I highly recommend James.
Unlike other companies, James does the consultation and the actual work himself.
This is very helpful because a bid from someone who is a saleperson or a detached owner of a business is more of a sales pitch than consultation based on your actual needs.
James was more interested in the installation part than the sales of equipments that I don’t need.
During the actual installation, James and his co-​worker were friendly and professional. They did a great job at my place and I plan to work with James again in the future when I have any AV needs.
Those reviews complaining about a job that never took place are a joke and should be deleted.

I have to jump on the bandwagon and 100% agree with all of the 5 star reviews! It’s not often that you come across someone who does a fantastic job and is so easy to work with. He is a super nice guy, total professional, really knows his stuff and is impeccable in his installation as well as clean up. I’m an Interior Designer, am very picky and will be highly recommending him to all of my clients. This guy is as good as it gets and I will never use anyone else. James ROCKS!

James was great, I had him over several months before I hired him to get an estimate on installing a tv over the fireplace. I also wanted to have an outlet installed over the fireplace so it was easy to plug the tv in. He gave me a couple of options for that, but since I was having the fireplace remodeled by someone else, I had them install the electricity. When it finally came time to hire him to install the tv he remembered me (even though I had waited several months to call him back) He got the work done very quickly, and installed a shelf, and fished a line through the fireplace wall to the other side. Everything looks great! If I ever need another tv install I know who to call.

I was closing escrow on my condo so I had several contractors come out to give me walkthrough estimates during my final inspection. I wanted to have ethernet cables run through the walls for my 2 bedrooms. After reading the Unilocal reviews, I scheduled James to come out.
He arrived on time and didn’t seem to mind that we had to wait about 5 – 10 minutes (for the seller to let us in and my realtor talks a lot) before we could get into the place. He asked me what I wanted, looked around the condo, and actually told me of a different way that I could have internet without having to route the wires through the walls (instead using the power lines)! So he came out all that way and didn’t even trick me to do the work.

What can I say…
James was easily reached and didn’t pressure us at all after initial contact. He gave us a quote over the phone… upon arrival, he was introduced to a larger than anticipated job, but didn’t complain or increase his price. His work was phenomenal and he has years under his belt. He gave me rock bottom pricing on all of his parts and promised to return if I came across any issues on my install. He mounted my 65″ LED tv and wired a 7.1 surround sound in our home theater along with a PS3, Apple tv, and DVD system. Bravo James, you do justice to your profession and your competition should take note of your work ethic. You arrived on time, and left within 2HRS. Hard work never goes unnoticed!
