I have been using this mechanic shop for several year and several owner changes. Alex has been there through many of the owner changes. Why? Because he is the best! I live in the neighborhood and won’t take my old hoopty anywhere else. They will work on ANY CAR! From luxury cars as well as older American cars (like mine.). Armen the owner is very friendly. But most off, they are honest!!! I like the way they explain the needed repairs and sometimes will even call me over to look under hood as well to see what they are referring to. most of my neighbors take their cars here! A+!

Great people and great place, honest and fast and with no frills. This is one of those times when you gladly tip somebody because of how fair and straight up they are. This is my new go to mechanic in Hollywood. Thank you

Been using them for a while now (after owner changed) and I find them to be right on the spot with their diagnostic. Granted their prices is a bit high compare to some other shop tha are in San Fernando valley but when your problem gets fixed first time, it’s worth paying a bit extra.

Take my word for it, Top Gear is the place to go for great repair work, honesty and customer service. Armen (the owner) is a great guy, and his lead mechanic Alex Gribonos is the wizard. Alex has been taking care of my cars (Mazda 626, BMW 330) for many years — he’s not just extremely talented at what he does, he absolutely refuses to handle any repair less than perfectly. Needless to say, this is very hard to find, especially in auto repair. I recently moved from their WeHo area to Woodland Hills, and I still wouldn’t take my car to anyone else. Don’t take your vehicle anywhere else (especially dealers! half the quality & service at 4 times the price, plus upselling), and tell your friends!

Great experience with my VW. I came in for major service and Armen was able to save me money with his supplier on parts. He is always knowledgeable and accommodates my schedule. Cannot say enough positive things about him. Will be using him for a long time.

FINALLY found my «guy» in LA for car needs!!! This is hands down the BEST place in Hollywood for auto repair. Especially if you, like me, are tired of being ripped off by auto shops and leaving with more car issues than you arrived with. Arman is an angel, he is honest and thorough. He does what’s best for your car, and doesn’t make decisions based on what will make him more $$$ or say you need something done when you don’t. On so many occasions Arman has helped me in a pinch, getting me the parts that I need in one day or less, and then charging me the most reasonable prices I’ve found all over LA. I send all of my friends to Arman and I HIGHLY recommend him, not only for repairs but for oil changes and annual maintenance as well. His oil change price is $ 30 (almost the same as Jiffy Lube), and I would much rather give my business to a local mom-​and-​pop run place than a huge business who tries to convince me that I need 100 other services every time I go to them. Go see Arman!

Incredible Incredible place. I used to come here before Armen owned this location and had really great success with the man who fixed all my bmws. I moved away to NYC for a couple years and when I returned and purchased a tricky benz, I ended up coming here after giving another top rated spot a try and not being quite happy with the experience. The other shop told me to sell the car and get a new one, I had purchased a specific rare mercedes that I wanted with a salvage title and the electronics were messed up by the previous owner. Instead of fixing what I asked for the shop really wouldn’t help me, so on a whim I came back to this place and met Armen. He wrote down everything that was wrong, and told me to drop off car and come back tomorrow. When I arrived, he trouble shooted the electrical, checked the car out completely even though I didn’t ask for it, and found some weakened areas in suspension/​frame that eventually had to be welded. He fixed all my problems, and trouble shot all the check engine light/​abs/​srs/​lights that were on and fixed them with a MAF sensor, front computer, and some other electronic parts he was able to source from a used parts place in the valley. He saved me quite a bit of time and money. Since this positive experience, he’s entirely maintained this car, and another AMG mercedes that I love. His pricing is more than fair and his experience saves me time and headache normally associated with car repairs. I gladly give him my money. Have recommended him to all my friends for their maintenance and repair.
