History

Established in 2014.

After 16 years of working with small facilities to running and creating training programs at very large facilities. I decided to start my own business in January of 2014. It was a vision of mine for many years and is now a reality. My focus now is on quality and what is best for your dog, not on numbers and how many dogs we can get to sign up. My goal is to create customized programs that will benefit each individual dog and owner. My structured hike, walks, and play are very specialized. I am not a «dog walker» I focus on one dog for the walks and hikes. Park trips are no more then 4 dogs in my group.

Every dog is unique and because of this I take a unique approach to every dog I work with. I have a true love for dogs and understand what they need to be fully stimulated to create a content family member. I treat each dog as an individual and plan my course for that dog according to their strengths and weaknesses. I am in no way a cookie cutter trainer and pride myself in creating programs that work for a specific dog. Working with animals takes patience and love and a good understanding on how they think. Every breed of dog was designed to perform a certain job for humans. As time as gone by and the needs of many the the breeds is no longer required; I feel it is important to incorporate their natural drive in their specific training program.

As I mentioned in my Check in I came to meet with Silvano so he could evaluate my dog Corky. We decided on having Corky do a structured walking package which would give him some exercise and have him socializing with other dogs. Silvano was awesome and the home environment vibe really made me feel Corky would be in good hands

Silvano turned my two golden retrievers into the best well behaved dogs. I would highly recommend him to anyone for basic or advance training.
My goldens use to jump on our guest when they walked it, it was so embarrassing trying to control them. We also couldn’t get them to listen, it was so frustrating. Their training with Silvano was time and money well spent. We have tried several different trainers/​agility courses with our dogs and found that Silvano was the best experience. He has trained our dogs with the basics– sit, stay, ect. as well as socialize them with other dogs and people. Thanks to their training we no longer have issues and are always complimented on how well behaved they are.
We are now working with Silvano to train our dogs for the therapy certification. Will update review upon completion.

Where do I even start? First time dog-​owner, so inexperienced (obviously). My husband insisted that our puppy come into our home with basic puppy manners, so Silvano took in our Aussie/​poodle straight from the breeder. To be fair, I don’t yet have the dog back full-​time but I take him home every Saturday and he has been a dream! Everyone who sees him and interacts can’t believe how well-​behaved he is for such a young puppy. Our main concern was the dog knowing where to use the potty (i.e. not in the house) and also not biting/​chewing everything. Yes, I know puppies chew and bite. But Silvano has worked magic!
We had our first sleepover last night, the success of which prompted me to write this review even though we are still a week or so away from completing Basic Training. He goes potty outside (we encourage and reinforce when he is successful), he stops biting when instructed, he sits patiently while he waits for his food dish. He slept on my daughter’s bed all night, excited in the morning to see us all. No accidents (yes, I know there might be some in the future) but we are closer to feeling like we can do this after all. He is a total love! He is working on «Stay» and «Sit“and has a nice success rate with these instructions. We reinforce with love (and treats)! I know there will be rocky patches, when the puppy goes through developmental changes, like teething, etc. but Silvano has assured us that he will help us through these stages.
I would definitely recommend Silvano!

I was switching jobs (I brought my boxer, Wally, to work with me at my old gig) and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get a dog walker, but also work on some of Wally’s issues… pulling on walks, not quite social with other dogs, separation anxiety. More importantly, I needed to find someone that would teach ME how to train and work with my dog. Someone I felt comfortable with, but also trusted. So, I took to Unilocal and found Silvano. What a great find!
After my first session, Silvano put me at ease and gave me some amazing tips and homework. I saw him again after two weeks, and Wally had made such improvements! Silvano gave me some more homework to work on with Wally, and I’m excited to keep getting results. Silvano made this fun and easy.
In addition to the training and advice, Silvano put together an awesome plan for structured walks and structured hikes with Wally and other dogs, to help socialize him and help him feel part of a pack. Silvano was flexible with my schedule, and I won’t have to worry about Wally when I’m at my new job.
I definitely recommend Silvano’s Creative K9 Concepts!!!

Silvano has become like family to us. He’s a dog whisperer. We rescued our Springer a little over two years ago and he was loving, but out of control. Over the course of three months, Silvano turned him into a structured, loving, perfect house pet, and trained US as well. After his training was done, we kept Silvano on for both daily ‘structured’ training walks, as well as long hikes and runs. I trust him with my dog AND my house keys. Silvano never invalidates that we are those ‘our pet is our child’ people, but he knows how to find that balance between discipline and indulgence. Now, if only I could get him to train my husband as well as he did my dog!

Silvano came to us highly recommended and he did not disappoint! I have to «problem» dogs — not to bore you with details they are now 4 years old and had never been properly trained. Before Silvano entered the scene, these were some very CONFUSED dogs. Although sweet tempered, they did not know their basic puppy manners and had some very problematic potty issues that I could not fix, not matter how many books I consulted and different scenarios I tried. I even sent them to a boot camp for 6 weeks that did nothing for their underlying issues. They could sit but they couldn’t be truested not to go potty in the house!
Silvano took our dogs to his home for I think almost THREE months. What was supposed to be 6 turned into longer because Silvano did not want to give us back a final product that was not perfect! When the dogs came back, they were completely transformed. They stopped barking — happily slept in their crate and adjusted to the special schedule Silvano had created for them once they were back home in our house. Now, the former yappers are so quiet that sometimes I even forget that I haven’t heard from them in hours! They are happy and love to see Silvano when he comes for his regular check in visits.
Silvano is über responsive, responds to every text no matter how trivial and is generally a pleasure. We are thrilled with the transformation our dogs have undergone!

Seriously Silvano is the real deal. Forget about the Dog Whisperer he is the ultimate Dog Shaman. He has experience and confidently knows how to approach every dog situation and solve every dog problem imaginable.
A big part of working with dogs is working with their owners too. As a sensitive and over protective first time puppy owner myself, Silvano has been very supportive, patient, and encouraging. There is no doubt he is the reason my dog is such a well adjusted happy pup.
So if you’re in need of help with your furry companion look no further as Silvano is AMAZING!

Silvano has helped us find the dog of our dreams. He listened to what we needed, and he did all of the temperament tests on a rescue dog. We followed his advice, and we now have a calm, sweet, lovable malti-​poo in our family. He has also trained the dogs of other family members with great success. I had a Redbone coon hound back in 2011, he was a puppy but soon his hunting nature took over and he was not the fit for my family. I had to accept that Early was better suited for a more active environment and I was working 5 days a week leaving him bored… and getting into trouble. I spoke with Silvano and he helped me make a transition to place Earl in a home where his skills and nature could be better suited. I was pleased to know a guy like Silvano cared enough about my dog to get him to the right people when the time came to put him in the right environment. Thanks Silvano… this was a hard time for me, cause i loved that damned dog so much and you made it easier.
