History

Established in 2014.

MOVIMENTO-​Apparel is created and designed by professional choreographer and celebrity trainer, Whitney Shannon. She found that herself, as well as, her clients need a high end look that could start with their workout and take them through the entire day with a simple change of shoe. Thus, Movimento was born. Movimento uses the highest quality Supima cotton, custom hand dyes each of their products, as well as, using artisanal pattern makers a designs that move around and celebrate a woman’s curve. Movimento is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.

Business Owner

My name is Whitney Shannon and thank you so much for stopping by Moviemento Apparel. I have been a dancer and lover of health and fitness my whole life. As a dancer, I was always cutting up fabrics, t-​shirts and pants that could work around my physical lifestyle that were high fashion and could take me anywhere in style after a long dance rehearsal to workout to the street. As adult I became passionate about health and well being for all ages. In addition to becoming a professional Choreographer, I also became a trainer to help any age, man or woman to feel great inside and out. The next organic evolution for me was to create an activewear with my dancer’s aesthetic of lines and movement built within each piece for a high fashion and functional purpose.
