Wow! I, like everyone else here wish that I had read these reviews beforehand. I ordered a bikini which took 1 month to receive for the cheapest shipping. The picture had intricate polka dot design in sheer fabric on top and bottom. The bikini I received was similar but not the same! No polka dot design in sheer fabric and back of bottoms were complete solid. I emailed them saying I want a full refund for false advertising and no response yet. My last message to them is that I will be filing complaint to BBB. To add to the issue, they sent the wrong size and also advised that I would have to pay my own shipping again. Horrible!

I regret I didn’t read the reviews until I was hounding them for my refund…
On 10÷2÷15 I ordered a Cheetah print racerback bodysuit for Halloween bc I planned to be Nicki Minaj. I realized their shipping ETA’s for regular economic shipping was 8 – 15 business days so I figured it would arrive on time.
Bc on 10÷16÷15 my order status was still «awaiting fulfillment» I emailed them to ensure the product would arrive on time since 10÷23÷15 would mark the 15^th business day. They notified me, that same day, it was still in production and it should «ship out» by the end of the next week. I worried some. So i emailed them back on 10÷20÷15 telling them I intended to have it for Halloween and that if the shipping ETA’s can’t be fulfilled, then they need t take it off. Shortly after telling them that, I get an update within an hour stating my order is now CANCELLED. I emailed them asking why it’s cancelled and they replied with «the order couldn’t be fulfilled by the requested date». I asked them if i would get a refund and Michelle in Customer Service said the refund process should finalize by 10÷27÷15 and to allow until 10÷28÷15 to see the funds. I didn’t see a refund so I emailed them asking for an update… It’s 11÷19÷15 and still no refund.
LUCKILY, that day on 10÷28÷15 I looked up the company on Unilocal on saw how bad the reviews were. I panicked thinking I’d never get my refund. One of the other reviews said they had to file a Fraudulent Claim w their bank so, that’s what I did. Luckily, my bank was very cooperative and soon credited me what I should’ve been reimbursed. I’ve been emailing Kami Shade during the week, almost daily, and STILL NO RESPONSE, smh… I’m not sure how they are getting away with this.
So a tip to all online shoppers… look elsewhere! Save yourself the hassle :)

I agree with all the others who have said they wished they read the bad reviews before buying. I really wanted a sequinned dress, and they had the best price around. However, their size chart is a joke — I followed their measurements exactly and received something that is at least 2 sizes too big for me — and the quality is crap. I don’t know what kind of magic they worked during the photo shoot, but the dress I received is certainly not the dress shown in the picture on the site. And their refund policy is exchanges or store credit only. What good does that do me, when I don’t want anything from them ever again? :(

Please make note of all these reviews… I wish I had thought of researching the company prior to ordering. And for the record 1 star is required to post this. They are a big negative 5 stars.
I didn’t even get as far as waiting for an order. I canceled my online order 3 hours after placing it and received a cancellation confirmation. They proceeded to tell me it would take 10 – 14 days to process my refund. Well here I am 18 days later with no refund. Not sure how they can continue to do business like this.

Heed all the bad reviews here of this company. Make sure you shop at shady Kami Shade with a credit card that has a good consumer dispute resolutions service. That’s your only hope for protection against their refund and returns practices.
This company will send you the wrong order, refuse to cover return shipping, refuse to refund your order, refuse to respond to legitimate communication, and refuse to apologize or take ownership for their poor customer service.

Here’s how it all went down…
I ordered a really cute jumpsuit online from Kami Shade using the sizing info on their website.
6 business days later, the order status was «Awaiting Fulfillment».
I sent them an email requesting an ETA, but I sent it right at the start of a holiday weekend.
While I waited for a response, I checked company reviews and really started to panic when I saw all the terrible Unilocal ratings.
Then I received an email reply immediately after the holiday and was told I’d have to wait another 10 days for delivery.
More panicking.
But later that same afternoon, I received an automatic status update indicating my order had shipped, with tracking number included!
The jumpsuit arrived at my home on the East Coast only 4 days later!
It’s exactly what I wanted, and it fits perfectly!
Total turnaround time, in spite of the holiday weekend delay, was only 10 business days.
That’s perfectly reasonable if you ask me, since I never requested expedited shipping.
Maybe they’re working extra hard now to redeem their reputation after all these bad reviews. I don’t really know. All I know is that they did a terrific job fulfilling my order. And I absolutely love my jumpsuit!

Worst company ever! I purchased a dress from there and the picture that they use is not the same material of the dress I was sent. When I got the dress it was stuffed in a bag, the material of the dress was so thin you can see right through it. I read the policy that there is no refund just a store credit. I will be out $ 80 because there is no way I’m am buying anything from this store again.

This business is fraudulent. I bought a bikini from their online store and cancelled literally 15 minutes later. Their policy is a cancellation within 48 hours will give you a full refund. Guess what? I never EVER got that refund.
After I requested the cancellation they informed me my payment had already gone through (convenient) and that my refund would take 14 – 20 days. Well that never happened. After emailing them with increasing concern for not getting my refund they informed me they had «an accounting problem» and my refund would take another 4 days. Well no need to reiterate that again that never happened. I think they were counting on a consumer who never checks for their refunds.
I finally had to have my bank refund me and go after them themselves. Please avoid these thieves and buy somewhere else. They are 100% fraudulent and by the way– you can buy ALL their products on eBay or alibaba for ¹⁄₁₈^th of the cost.

I wanted a unique birthday dress and didn’t want to go through the headache of hunting for one at the local mall or department store. I came across this site on Pinterest but before I ordered my dress, I read the reviews for kamishade but I still decided to try my luck. DONT DO IT.
My first problem was with ordering and shipping. I ordered the dress on Sunday and paid for 2 – 4 day shipping so it would be here by Saturday. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, go by and my order is still «waiting to be fulfilled» ! I call, no answer, and their answering machine says NOT to leave a message – unprofessional. I email them and explain how I paid for 2 – 4 day shipping for a reason. They did overnight my dress, however what I received in the mail cannot even be forgiven. The picture online is SO misleading. They played me and sent me a dress that looks like I made it myself. The material is also the same material I cover my text books with.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I ordered a jumpsuit that looked ok on the site but then I got it and it was awful! So cheaply made it should have cost $ 10. Deb or forever 21 has better made clothing.
I returned it only to realize I couldn’t get my $ back so I ordered another dress. Didn’t receive it until a month later and then got the wrong dress. So fed up at this point I think I want to tell them to forget it.

It’s hard to believe, but my situation with this company just keeps getting worse and worse. They finally agreed to send out the correct dress, but made me pay for return shipping. They sent me the wrong dress for the SECOND time, and are again refusing to respond to my emails. I do not understand how a company can get away with this. I have already filed with the BBB, if I don’t hear from them by Monday I will also file with the Federal Trade Commission and Bureau of Consumer Protection. I urge everyone who has had an issue with this company to do the same.

Beware of spending your money here. I purchased a skirt online. Ten days later I was notified via email that the item was not available. They suggested I look at the other merchandise to replace my purchase. When I requested a refund they advised me that I could only have a store credit. No where in the initial email did it state that I would only be offered a store credit and not a refund for an item that they didn’t have in stock. I corresponded with them via email several times without any luck. I am forced to dispute it through my bank. When I tried contacting them over the phone the voice mail states that they don’t take calls and asks you to email them. What kind of professional business does that? If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Ridiculous for me to be offered a store credit for an item that they didn’t even have in stock. Be sure not to waste your time or money.

These people are thieves. Don’t shop here. Save yourself the headache. Check the BBB so you can read the numerous complaints. Wish I had done that beforehand.

So are you guys just going to ignore your customers and let the phone ring?!
All I want to do is clear my credit so I dont have to deal with this horrible customer service.

Avoid! sent me the wrong dress and the dress is poorly made with the black lining exposed. I had to go to a seamstress to make alterations. Lack of customer service. No response to emails and voice mail is full.

Here it is Almost October and they still have never sent my replacement item from May!!!, I say Minus 5 stars. these folks will be going to small claims court over this, I already filed a formal compalint with the BBB. Just the worst sort of business on earth and they dont give a damn, HUGE SCAM!!! Do Not order from them! They need to be in jail for fraud!

I was REALLY nervous when I saw all the bad reviews for Kami Shade on Unilocal and on other websites but I decided to give it a shot because they were the only place that sold a jumpsuit EXACTLY like the one I needed for the base of a cosplay. I wrote a note in my order saying that I needed the jumpsuit for an event I was attending in two weeks to make sure they were aware I was on a time crunch. Less than 5 days later the package had arrived at my house (I paid for the 6 – 10 day standard shipping).
The jumpsuit was a little tighter than expected (I bought an XL because I’m a few inches smaller than the measurements listed on the description of the suit and wanted a little wiggle room. I still fit in it though!). Other than that I couldn’t be more pleased with the fast service and the quality of my jumpsuit. I’ll definitely keep them in mind if I ever need to make a similar purchase for another cosplay. Thank you, Kami Shade!

Thankfully I live in Los Angeles so I did not encounter the shipping difficulties or out of stock issues since my outfit was special order however I did experience great difficulty getting in contact with an actual person consistently. The phone number does not always work and you can not always leave a message. Email seems to work but since I was so anxious to get my outfit I wished for a quicker response time. As for the outfit I went into the store and tried on the jumpsuit which didn’t fit. I told them I’d like it a little longer and to add 2 inches to the middle seam and changed the material to a different sequence. Which they did. I was told when the outfit would be ready, a Thursday. I requested it to be completed my Wednesday and they said they would try. They called me and said Wednesday would not work on Wednesday but that it would be ready on Thursday. Thursday came and I got a call that it would not be ready until Friday. I was upset since my event was on Saturday and they are closed on Saturdays. I asked very nicely to please comprise and meet me half way on Friday to drop off the outfit which happened after they all got off of work, 4:20. Eva met me in a parking lot. I had to have faith that the jumpsuit would fit. It mostly did and I wore the jumpsuit and dealt with the extra material that bunched in the back. I have to say however that the jumpsuit was a HIT! I felt amazing and I received tons of compliments.
So the experience was not so good but the jumpsuit made up for it.
The question is would I use them again. The jury is out.

WIsh I had searched reviews before ordering, but didn’t. I have never had a worse purchasing/​customer service experience in my life. I still don’t have a refund and have been dealing with this for over a month, after spending roughly $ 60 on shipping that will not be returned.
Have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, which when I emailed Kami Shade saying so, finally got them to respond to me via email, but only to make untrue accusations towards me.
Terrible quality of products and absolutely shameful business practices.

Do not waste your time ordering from this company! They are running some kind of shipping scam. If you do not pay the outrageous cost of 3 – 5 day shipping ($ 170.00) for three dresses to San Diego from LA, they sit on your order for weeks!
I agree with the other person who reviewed them, the customer service is horrible!
I am glad I never got the items I ordered, seems the quality of their products are just as bad as their service!
