Magic Scott Marshall

I hired Scott Marshall to perform for my preschool’s end of the year party! So glad I did, my 3 – 5 year old kids were super entertained as well as the adults. He was on time, entertaining and very professional. I will definitely be using him again!

We hired Scott Marshall to entertain at my seven year old daughter’s birthday party yesterday, a big party with many kids of varying ages and lots of adults, too. Right from the start Scott was polite and professional. He answered all of my questions and was quick with replies. Upon arrival he had to park pretty far away, but he cheerfully hauled his props from his car without complaint. He was gentle with the many children encroaching upon his space as he set up. The show was funny and the magic was quality. He knows how to work a kid audience. They ate it up. Everyone loved it. Many parents approached me after the show to say they really enjoyed Scott and expressed interest in hiring him for future events. I was so happy. It’s not easy to drop a wad of cash on kid’s party entertainment, so knowing the show was genuinely enjoyed made it all worthwhile. All along Scott was kind, patient, and incredibly professional. I rarely rush to write Unilocal reviews, but as a small business owner on Unilocal myself I know how much it matters. Scott is worthy of your business.

Scott performed incredible magic acts at our son’s 9^th birthday party that still have us all shocked and amazed! He is incredibly good with children and was able to keep everyone engaged and focused on his act — not an easy feat with a group of 25 8 – 10 year olds! He brought Rudy the rabbit, who was a big hit!
Scott weaves a great sense of humor into his magic, which the children and adults both enjoyed.

Scott Marshall is a regular performer in a monthly burlesque show I produce. He is a valuable member of our show who constantly goes above and beyond. Scott performed at my son’s 4^th birthday party this weekend and he was terrific. It’s not easy to keep a group of 4 year olds entertained but Scott had them mesmerized (and the adults had a blast too). He is wonderful with children and I highly recommend him for a truly special magic party performance!!!

Scott Marshall and his assistant performed at my mother’s 80^th birthday party. He was fantastic! He arrived on time, began his show on time, and his show was both amazing and funny. The crowd loved him and I know that my moms friends were waaaaaaaaaaay jealous that she had such a cool magician at her party. I’d use him again and recommend him to anyone who asks. Bravo.

I had the good fortune of seeing Scott Marshall perform mind-​blowing magic in Hollywood. I have no idea how he did any of it but was amazed. Aside from being a talented magician, he was also a great storyteller and very funny. An all-​around entertainer. A great performance and a great time, I can’t wait to see him again!

Scott Marshall performed at my wedding, and he was a wonderful addition to the special day. I asked Scott to perform for the guests before the ceremony. Since he was the first thing the guests would see throughout the whole evening, he had the arduous task of setting the mood for the entire event. Adding to that pressure, he also had to perform for a group that wasn’t expecting a magic show, since it was a pre-​ceremony surprise for the guests. Within the twenty minute window given to him, he had all the guests seated, engaged, laughing with his unique blend of magic and humor. When other aspects of the wedding were running a little behind schedule, Scott, being a true professional, was able to adjust and keep the audience entertained a little longer than originally planned so we’d have time to get ready without the guests any the wiser. He got our wedding off to a great start and the night only got better from then on. I’m so happy Scott was a part of my wedding.
Because I was so happy with the job Scott did at my wedding, I hired him again the next time I had the opportunity. Scott exceeded my expectations again. I asked Scott to perform a short set during a burlesque show I produce. I didn’t give Scott many guidelines for what I’d like him to do, besides the length I’d like the set to be, the theme of the show (which was Wizard of Oz Themed), and a description of the space. I knew Scott would give a good performance, but I was really impressed with how much effort he put into creating a special performance that was really customized for our show. I’m looking forward to having Scott back at our next performance.

Scott performed at my husband’s graduation party for about 40 – 45 guests and everyone was completely mesmerized by his feats of prestidigitation. He arrived on time and dressed like one of the guys from Madness which was quirky and cool; he even stayed a few minutes extra to entertain the littlest of the guests.
Scott’s way of including the audience member, telling a story, and using magic to wrap it all up was simply a treat. Most if not all guests were overhead saying, «Now, that guy is a good magician! Does he have a card?»
As everyone has mentioned, he is and was kind, patient, and flexible with the unique attention span and interruption of children asking questions and/​or simply walking away and coming back. Scott didn’t miss a beat and made it all look completely effortless. Scott is a consummate professional.
The guests were completely enthralled with his magic tricks and kept wanting more, wanting to learn just how he did what he did. We will definitely be figuring out how to have a party or family gathering just so we can include and invite Magic Scott Marshall to the event.

Scott performed at my daughter’s birthday and I got more than my money’s worth! He was punctual and sharply-​dressed. We had a guest list ranging from ages 0 – 70 and he was able to delight them all with up-​close magic.
Like a previous reviewer mentioned, he is great with children. He was also quite a hit with the pre-​teen crowd; which was such a relief as they can be hard to impress!
Before the party, he asked me what kind of magic (rotating and up close or a show) I wanted and what the age range of the group would be. During and after his performance, he checked in with me to make sure I was happy. His flexibility and professionalism were as impressive as his talents.

I’ve seen this magician perform at the Magic Castle, at a wedding, and at special events like the Street Food Cinema screenings. He’s amazing!
