As a videographer, working with Charley is a blessing. She couldn’t have been more helpful or more thoughtful when it comes to coordinating events. She is a complete joy. Relieving stress and creating smooth-​flowing events is her specialty.

We hired Charley and her team for our Malibu wedding in June. She did an incredible job. From managing the relationships with our vendors and finding ones that we hadn’t thought of, to thinking of last minute details that we didn’t even imagine. Our wedding day turned out even better than we could have imagined and it was mostly due to Charley and her team.
Instead of worrying about last minute details, we got to enjoy our day. All of our friends commented on what a professional she was. It was fantastic. I would not hesitate to hire her again for my next big event I can’t not say enough good things about her.

Charley was everything we wished for and more in a wedding planner!
We had to move our wedding 30 days out due to a hurricane and Charley did the most fabulous (and calm) job of re-​planning the whole thing. She was beyond lovely to work with and dealt with our craziness like it was nothing. On top of planning the whole wedding perfectly, she also planned a 120 person rehearsal dinner at a private estate where everything had to be thought of and brought in. Charley is extremely talented at thinking of everything possible and handing everyone wonderfully. #MadKaped was beautiful and perfect thanks to her. We even felt she’d done so much beyond her fee that we sent her a bonus. Charley’s team was awesome as well.
Through the whole process we were thrilled with our decision to hire Charley! We adore her!

We recently supplied two buses for a wedding event at the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills, organised by Charley King at Bluebell events.
When we arrived to pick up the wedding guests, the guests were eager for a tour of Hollywood to Beverly Hills, complete with fun large movie star sunglasses !
Charley had everyone happy, smiling and looking forward to a great time.

Charley was so lovely to work with planning our wedding. She has great ideas and great execution. She knows how to help you create your vision, even if you have a hard time communicating what that vision is… she’s incredible. And on the DAY… she is an absolute rockstar. She was like a ninja with a headset floating around all day. Just making magic happen. Our guests commented on how incredible she was, just making sure that our day flowed perfectly and we never had to think about a thing… just got to enjoy each other. She’s absolutely amazing. Worth every penny.

We hired Bluebell events to plan our wedding in Santa Monica and we can honestly say this was the best decision we made regarding the wedding (aside from actually deciding to get married!).
Charley our wedding planner was amazing, we were planning our wedding from Houston and we had a few low points in the lead up to the wedding resulting in a venue change 6 weeks out… but this did not faze Charley!
Charley was there with us through everything and we just felt much more comfortable knowing we had Charley on the ground working for us! I’ve never posted a review to Unilocal (or any other online review service) before, but after having Charley as the wedding coordinator for my recent June wedding in Malibu, I felt compelled to do so based on the excellent job she did!
At first, I didn’t believe that wedding planners in general were really that important, and even if they were the main benefit would be to handle day-​of logistics with all our vendors. Charley completely changed my mind on this… she was always proactive, positive, clear, and helpful with every element of planning we needed her for. She helped us liaise with all vendors, was always full of good suggestions, and seemed to have a great personal/​caring touch.
Where I was most impressed however was in her day-​of coordination… she had a great team with her, and following her lead they were always poised, professional, and positive with everyone they encountered, I’ve been to many weddings over the past year before and since our own, and the decision to use Charley (And my feedback above) keeps getting validated over and over.
If you are thinking about getting a wedding planner in general, or have heard about Blue Bell Events in particular, I highly recommend you reach out and listen for yourself re what they can do for your particular wedding or other special event!

Everybody knows the old wedding tradition «Something new, something old, something borrowed and something blue». Charley and Bluebell events truly brought us the luck on our wedding day and helped us to enjoy the celebration worry free. I’ve waited far too long to write this review. Primarily because I was waiting to get struck with some momentary flash of genuis so that I could fully articulate the memorable experience Charley provided us leading to that perfect review she deserves, but why fool myself, it’s not happening so here’s my best.
The second we saw Charley we knew she’d be our wedding coordinator. She was charismatic, full of thoughtful ideas and she just knew how to evaporate our anxiety. Part of the anxiety which I’m sure many of you are aware of was due to our vendors resisting to respond to our calls/​emails on time or contractual disagreements which in our case turned out to be with our venue. I’d love to think I handled it, but far from the truth… Charley stepped in to regulate those vendors in order and also aided with the contract negotiations. The point I’m proving here is that she’s so much more than just a wedding day coordinator, she’s so involved that it feels like a true friendship.
In the beginning I had a thought «we don’t need a coordinator» or «we just need a coordinator for the day of» well I’m happy we didn’t make that mistake. I had quite a few brain farts during the wedding, didn’t know where to stand or didn’t know when to walk or didn’t know I wasn’t breathing, well as you may guess by now Charley was right there whenever I needed the direction. I also would like to mention her assistant Jamie who was a tremendous help as well, the both of them truly quarterbacked our wedding seamlessly.
