The goal of the Beverly Hills Karate Academy is to provide a safe, fun filled atmosphere where you and your children can learn the many benefits of martial arts training which includes building self confidence, getting in great shape, learning patience and learning how to defend yourself in case you ever had to.

History

Established in 1970.

The Beverly Hills Karate Academy was founded by world famous martial artist Emil Farkas in 1970.

A 7^th. degree black belt in karate, Sensei Farkas over the years has taught thousands of students from children age 4 to adults as old as 85. He is especially noted for his patience and skill with children, many of whom have received Junior Black Belt rankings under his instruction.

Sensei Farkas is also a world renown authority on Realistic Street Self Defense having been a Body Guard for 10 years.

Business Owner

Chief Instructor Emil Farkas is an Internationally Acclaimed Authority on the martial arts.

Emil Farkas holds:

a 7^th degree Black Belt in Karate,

a 4^th degree Black Belt in Judo,

a 4^th degree Black Belt Ju-​Jitsu,

and is an expert in Realistic Street Self Defense.

He is known and respected world wide as a coach and instructor to major movie and television personalities and was one of the first martial arts experts to be involved in the film industry as a fight coordinator.

He has authored over 10 books and has been on the cover of every major martial arts magazine world wide.

He opened the Beverly Hills Karate Academy in 1970 which has remained in the same location since.

Today he specializes in teaching children, and adults who want to learn practical street effective self defense.
