Beauty Collection is a Los Angeles-​based prestige beauty retailer with locations in Southern California. It currently represents over 200 prestige beauty brands with over 30,000 unique products chosen for their quality and distinctiveness.

Beauty Collection began as a family business more than 20 years ago, and has since evolved into one of the top beauty retailers in the world.

Beauty Collection has licensed estheticians and cosmetologists on staff at each location and offers free consultations to its customers. Its focus on product selection as well as exceptional customer service distinguishes Beauty Collection from other retailers. It invests heavily in training its beauty consultants to ensure they can deliver on customer expectations and on the company’s brand promise: «Curators in the Art of Beautiful.»

This is a great place, mostly because of the staff. I was looking for a lipstick the other day and Andrew was amazing about helping me out. He completely understood what I was looking for, really knew exactly what they had and what would work best for me – and most of all, he was incredibly patient while I tried a huge number of different colors.

DO NOT BUY Moroccan Oil products from this store. They are COUNTERFEIT products bought from third party dealers. They claim to be authorized dealers but they ARE NOT. I returned shampoo that was clearly not the authentic product and the manager refunded my money, which was nice of her, but I want to be able to trust a store that claims to be authorized. Stop telling people you are an authorized dealer, and then in the same sentence say that you have been using the same third party dealer for ten years. Third party dealers are not direct dealers, therefore you ARE NOT AUTHORIZED. My hair felt like straw after using their imitation. I will not buy Moroccan Oil from them again, only sealed skincare. I just opened my Moroccan Oil hair mask and that is also FAKE. Doesn’t even smell or feel like the real thing. Customers should get what they pay for, and as a manager I would be more concerned about the source of this deception.

I walked into this place not even knowing that they did haircuts, but since I needed a cut and color I had GINO Gebhart do my hair and I love it! He was delightful plus is did a great job on both the color and cut. He listened attentively and gave me exactly what I asked for! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Gino!

Andrew was phenomenal… I have been in the store twice and both times Andrew went above and beyond to assist and educate. Everyone in the West Hollywood store is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to may you feel right at home.

I stumbled upon the store and was so happy I did. They have a helpful staff and a ton of quality products. I don’t know a thing about beauty products, so I appreciate the staff introducing me to new items each time I visit. Love it!
Make sure you attend their quarterly events. If you are a «curator,» meaning you spend a ton, you get a free gift bag filled with amazing samples!

BUYER BEWARE!!!
They sell OLD/​EXPIRED products.
I went here to try to return some face wash I purchased with Cash only because the philosophy exfoliating wash I bought and have been using for years was old! All the exfoliating beads had dissolved and the texture was very runny, they refused to give me my cash back and instead insisted that I only get store credit because I paid cash, then went on to say that if I had paid with my debt card they could have put the $ 47 dollars back on my card! Lol BULLSH**

I used to like this place but not anymore. I went in on Sunday to find a product I had previously purchased but could not remember the name. I asked the staffer if she should look it up and while she was another customer came in and was upset that a product had been left out of her purchase before she left. She proceeded to direct the staffer I was working with to assist her and the staffer just blew me off — not a word to me — no turn over to another staffer, no asking the other customer to wait while she finished with me — or asking a manager or someone else to help this other customer. How rude. so I left and did a whole round of grocery shopping at Pavilions and then returned. The irate customer was still there trying to get her missing product. I let the staffer know how unprofessional and rude she was — and that I would never be back. I will now shop online — customer service these days sucks at most places… no wonder they have trouble staying in business. With staff like this you might as well close your doors.

JENNIFER IS AMAZING. I have been searching for a regular hair stylist, and my search is over. I plan to slowly go lighter with my thick, over-​dyed hair, and Jennifer understood my concerns of preserving my hairs health better than any other stylist, and I she actually cared about what my goals were before making her own suggestions. After coloring my roots, and doing a gentle color remover (not a bleach), she gave my thick resistant hair the best blow out I’ve ever had. It’s been 3 days and my ends are still perfectly soft and curled under. I’m a beauty professional myself, and her perfect balance of offering suggestions combined with listening to my concerns, along with her top notch talent, really made me happy with the experience and ready to commit to her as my stylist.
THE STORE: The best way to describe Beauty Collection is basically like the professional’s Sephora: I’m an esthetician myself, and the range of products here for home, hair, skin, nails and beyond are all of absolute quality. Epicuren skin care, OPI nail products, Dermablend makeup, Voluspa home fragrance, Clive Christian perfume and the like line the shelves rather than mass produced over-​priced brands that spend more on advertising than ingredients. Everything at Beauty Collection is good, if not outstanding. The staff are always well informed and friendly, and I can always ask questions but I never feel I am being «sold» to or followed through my shopping experience.
This location has easy free parking in the shared lot with Pavillions despite it’s prime West Hollywood location, which is lovely. I will be back.

I love this store!
They carry a large collection of high-​end products that can be hard to find outside of huge malls, which I avoid as much as possible because parking etc can be such a hassle, and sometimes you just need to pop in and out for one thing.

I had the $ 50 for $ 30 deal from Gilt City. It’s a pretty good deal if you’re someone that likes to shop for beauty products (and who doesn’t) — $ 20 off some high end brands pretty much never happens.
The Beauty Collection in WeHo was well stocked and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unlike many other beauty store coupon deals, there were no restrictions on the «premium» brands — which is what really made this a great deal. I stocked up on Bumble & Bumble hair products and Bliss face products and saved $ 20 — unheard of!
PLUS, when you check in with Unilocal,you get a special gift. They were out of whatever product they were supposed to give me for checking in, so they put together a collection of high end product samples in a cute little makeup bag. All around, a solid shopping experience. And if you do ever see a daily deal for the Beauty Collection, I highly recommend you pounce!
