Lemon and Herb

Today, we had a small, fun and unique birthday celebration for one of my BFF. She was so surprised and it was just perfect. Aneesa was so informative, kind and helpful. She is very personable and taught us some tips that we are taking to our kitchens. She made cooking seem so easy and realistic for us to incorporate into our households. We made bruchetta, vegetable pasta primavera and the best chocolate molten cake I have ever tasted! We are already looking at our calendars to book our next private cooking lesson! Thank you Aneesa for such a lovely day!

I have taken 2 classes from Aneesa and can’t wait for my 3^rd. My 1^st class was an amazing Indian dish which was to die for! The 2^nd one was a farm to table salmon dish that could have been served at one of the finest restaurants in LA! Thank you Aneesa!

Aneesa is an excellent instructor. She is thorough, approachable and has an enormous amount of patience. She makes sure that all of her students are keeping busy and there is never a dull moment. I consider myself to be a pretty good cook, but I am always looking for new tricks and skills in the kitchen. What a wonderful and insightful few hours! Not to mention absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of learning to cook Indian shrimp curry, with its amazing sides.
One of the best things about learning with Aneesa is the little pointers along the way — yes, there is a printed out recipe that you all follow, but it is in the little details and tidbits that expand on your cooking experience to such a great extent. She is incredibly knowledgeable, as well as a wonderful person. In addition, the location (her home) was very inviting and absolutely beautiful. A kitchen with a view that made us all smile :)
It was an absolute pleasure learning from her, and I will be returning to her classes over and over again.
PS: A huge bonus was that after eating our delicious lunch together, we all got to take home extras in take-​out boxes to share with our families.

I ordered a couple of bags of her toffee bark and brought it to a party! Delish!!! It was the gone in 60 seconds flat!

My cousin and I recently joined a Lemon and Herb cooking class in Aneesa’s beautiful home. Italian was on the menu the day we attended) and we know us some Italian ;) however, I picked up some very useful tips and had the most wonderful lunch.
Aneesa is very approachable and makes the experience fun, yet she’s serious about her passion for cooking. She uses only the freshest ingredients and keeps her classes small to ensure her students get the most from her teachings. I’ll be signing up again in the new year. This time… Indian. Yes, please!

Our family scheduled a Mediterranean cooking party as a surprise for my Father’s birthday. Aneesa was incredibly flexible around our schedules and the many differing dietary requirements of each family member (low salt, gluten free, dairy free, pescatarian, etc)
Aneesa showed up on time and brought everything needed for prepping and cooking the meal. The ingredients were very fresh and the fish and chicken were both organic.
She was very knowledgeable and patient with our 6 person, very distractable group. She had great answers to all of our questions, even the sillier ones, like — what is Tahini, do you need to refrigerate it, how do you know when chicken is done, etc.
The final product was amazing and when we finished cooking, the whole family sat down to eat for our birthday lunch celebration. Aneesa washed and cleaned all of the dishes we used to prep and cook and it was a completely stress free, enjoyable experience.
We were so thrilled with the event and have a wonderful family memory that we will treasure. We will definitely have Aneesa back for our next big family gathering to do an Indian food lesson!

I’ve taken two classes from Aneesa. Today, the Egg’s Benedict Brunch class was off the charts. I now know how to make one of my favorite meals flawlessly! I am fairly proficient in a kitchen, however, intimidated by certain recipes that might seem time and ingredient consuming. Aneesa does an amazing job at breaking down the recipes into simple, easy to do steps. She offers a relaxed setting in her personal kitchen with a very comfortable pace of instruction. I am definitely taking more classes with her in the future. Looking forward to her curry class (another one I am slightly intimidated to try on my own). Thanks Aneesa– my husband can’t wait for my Benedict breakfast next weekend!
