Araya Chiropractic Wellness Center is just that… a place that does primarily chiropractic while encouraging wellness thinking and living. We take care of babies and seniors and families and individuals. We think of you as people not patients and serve you according to your needs. We are flexible with fees and appointments (you just walk in). Some people get soft adjustments, some get traditional adjustments, it depends on you. You are reading to find out about us but here it is… it’s all about you. Come visit and find out if you’ll like it here. Dr Rick
History
Established in 2000.
Originally, Araya Family Chiropractic, LLC opened in downtown Hartford in 2001. Things went went for a while but with the destruction and then construction of the Civic Center/XL Center, parking became an overnight problem! We opened a satellite in Elmwood on Mayflower Street and it became the place to go for our patients. After a couple of years of two practices, we stayed in West Hartford. Last year, we moved to 39 Talcott Road. When you come stay off New Britain Avenue. It’s too many lights and too much construction! Come down Trout Brook and cross over South Quaker to Talcott Road. We”re on the right before New Park Avenue. It’s a little brick building number 39!

Dr Rick A.
Business Owner
Rick Araya is a Doctor of Chiropractic or Chiropractor. Chiropractors use the spine and nervous system to restore the alignment, movement, communication and «flow» in the body. Traditional chiropractic talks about the restoration of the impulses between the brain and body as the way Chiropractic works! Originally from Connecticut, Dr Rick attended Fairfield University, University of Bridgeport and then Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. In California, many more chiropractors practice whole family, holistic, health generating Chiropractic. This is the practice model we have here. You’ll often find Rick in shorts, with Dakota, an Australian Shepard, both with a smile on their face.
