I came here yesterday for an oil change and a smog check. It’s time to renew my registration but I need to have a smog certification done before I can move forward. The oil change was very affordable, best price I had seen anywhere. 25 dollars on my Volvo. Other places had quoted me at 70, 60 and the lowest was 50 so I was thrilled to only be paying 25.
I called ahead and was told the price for the smog would be 40 and when I got there, I was told it would be be 60. The man who helped me said they would honor the price I was given on the phone, which I thought was great.
They did the oil change and then I was told my car had not passed the smog check and I would need to pay 70 dollars for a diagnostic. But then he went on to say that my car didn’t pass the smog check because the check engine light was on.
I said, wait a minute, you knew the car would fail before you did it and you still went through with it? He said by law he couldn’t fail a car without testing it. I WAS RIGHT HERE!!! You could have told me that and I wouldn’t have had the damn smog check. This isn’t one of those places where you don’t pay if it didn’t pass, Why did you run the damn smog test knowing it would fail? I am disabled and on a very limited fixed income. That 40 dollars could have been better spent on the diagnostic from the beginning so in essence, I paid 75 dollars for that damn oil change because all I got for the 5 minute smog test was your car didn’t pass.
He told me to complain to Barr if I wanted to. He was so cocky and snarky about it. I’ll never come back here again,

went here to get an oil change, the next day my car messed up on me. they told me I had an oil leak when I never ever had problems with my car leaking oil.
never coming here ever again.

I moved to the area a couple of months ago and couldn’t be happier about this place. They are quick, efficient and their prices are great! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place!

Needed an oil change and conveniently it was located next to dentist office. I called them up and they were super friendly. When I arrived, the service was fast and efficient. Seems like the type that will go that extra Mile for the customer. I will definitely be back! :)

Friendly service. I came in here for a smog check, but their smog guy is not here today. I asked the price for a 4 wheel alignment and he quoted me $ 79.99 vs the 99.99 at the Purrfect Auto in West Covina on Azusa. They have coffee and Netflix here. You can watch 1 – 2 shows and your car will be done. Great service. I will come back tomorrow for my smog.

I’m happy this place is close to home. Read the reviews and decided to try it out. I came to bring my sis 2000 Ford Mustang for an oil change and they made a recommendation to change the air filter so I’m having them do that also. So far I’m very happy with the service. The gentleman is very nice and always kept me updated with my car. I will definitely be coming back.

Just got back from vacation & realized my registration was due & I needed a smog check done as well. Luckily, this shop is close to home, is a STAR certified station, took me right away & left enough time to make it to AAA to pay for & pick up tags… all in the same day! Found this place on Unilocal ’cause my previous mechanic wasn’t picking up his phone all the time or he gets to me 30 minutes before he closes.
Once I got here, I was greeted by one of the mechanics. Already, Ive felt comfortable. Hameed at front desk was very helpful on getting all my information since its my first time here and got me in within 5 minutes.
Oil change for 6 cylinders for 24.99 + tax?! Thats a steal and I am so happy Ive found this place for my car.
10 dollars off if you check in is also a plus! Not only did I not know that, ’cause I was willing to pay full price for the service. Hameed saved me 10 dollars! Ill keep you guys updated on how the quality of the worl will be.

Found this place on Unilocal because I was freaking out when my light went on on my way to work in the morning. I chose them because it was close to my house and had a good rating. I came for an oil change which I was dreading because my car requires full synthetic, but I got a good price especially with the coupons on their website! When I first walked in the owner asked me how the mileage was on my car and it was amazing because it’s like he knew my car and knew it wasn’t that great anymore. He informed me that cars like mine start to drop in mileage and he recommended a fuel injection service. As I was waiting for my oil change he asked me if I wanted to do the fuel injection service, and knowing I was ehhhh about it, he offered me a deal to help me out ! All in all I was very happy and I’ll definitely return with any other services my car will need.

good service so far, cheap oilchange. i paid $ 25 for a 6L engine. plus tax and other stuff it comes out to $ 29+
the wait just took a little longer than the promised 20mins (its now close to 40mins) but apparently they were inspecting it and recommended fuel injection service to improve my mileage. no wonder i lose so much gas so quickly!!! they gave me a really good price on it so yay!

This place is right by my house & so it’s so convenient for me & my family! Today was my first time here. I called in & asked for a price & the gentleman on the phone was very prompt & gave me all the info.
I showed up about 30 minutes later & they got to fixing my car right away. Customer service is amazing! He’s very nice & was able to answer some of my questions as well.
Definitely going to refer my friends/​family to this place & definitely coming back.

Not sure how these one star reviews are sticking from reviewers with no prior reviews or connections on Unilocal.As an Elite Unilocaler I generally expect «one-​off» reviews to fall onto the hidden reviews in short order. Sorry, Tupe… your car didn’t pass smog and that’s nobody else’s fault but your own.
Either way, my experience with the guys at Purrfect Auto was nothing short of straight-​forward, fair and efficient. They’re a one stop shop for pretty much anything you could need — oil change, tire issues, brakes, etc. Their techs know what they’re talking about, are transparent about explaining the needed repairs and I believe the quoted bill was fair. I even ran the proposed bill past my trusted prior mechanic in Illinois and he nodded off on the estimate, so…
Four solid stars, these guys are the real deal. Take it from someone with more than one review.
