History

Established in 2006.

Chris Cotter has spent over 24 years studying and performing music. His experience in recording studios began at a young age while working with Grammy Award winning producer, Tom Hambridge, in Philadelphia’s Sonic Studio. He later went on to work on many projects at Indre Studio, Target, Range Records, The Roots (private studio), Morning Star, The Mastering House, and Phil Nicolo’s Studio 4. After years of recording in the regions finest studios, he decided it was time to develop his own record label, TribeSound Records. Chris has produced, engineered, and performed on many records and continues to lend his expertise to talented musicians, writers, and bands in the area. In addition to Chris’ many accomplishments he owns and operates a collaborative website geared toward helping musicians write music globally with Col​laba​Jam​.com. Since 2010, a new section of TribeSound has opened, TribeSound Productions, which specializes in video production for clients in the Philadelphia area.

Joe A.

Business Owner

Joe has been writing, shooting, editing and scoring films and videos for over ten years. While earning his film degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA he took part in long-​term studies of film, literature and music throughout Europe and Los Angeles. He has performed as a lead guitarist on many well-​known stages including the Warped Tour, the TLA of Philadelphia and Lollapalooza 2003.
