Specialties
The coziest little pub in fabulous borough of West Chester. Ryan’s pub is a local favorite for the fresh quality food, variety of offerings (not found in chain restaurants), and friendly service since 2002. Located in an over 100 year old building Ryan’s has two floors of serving area. Downstairs has the feel of a classic Irish tavern while upstairs is a bit quieter with a beautiful dining area and cocktail bar.
In the warm weather enjoy dinner and drinks under the moon and stars on the second floor rear deck or outside on bustling tree lined Gay St.
For the sporting crowd Ryan’s has plenty of TV’s and daily drink and food specials.

Started by brothers Pat and Paul Ryan in 2002 this is a third generation Irish tavern owner family. The Ryan’s grew their business from their grandfather’s who started in West Philadelphia in 1909. In 1952 their father bought Smokey Joe’s on the Penn campus which is still owned and operated by the brothers. In 2008 the Ryan’s expanded to open PJ Ryan’s Pub in Phoenixville, Pa.
