We came here expecting some great service; but when we entered, the man up at the register wanted us to come up to him. My wife can’t walk too well and wanted to sit at the nearest table. The man got kind of rude and wanted us to sit where he wanted us to sit. We were the only ones in the café!!! We turned around and left. Go to The Wagon Wheel which is just up the road. Better service, better people and great food!

Uptown Café is a great little café in small town America. West Bend only has a population of about 400 – 500 people but this little café stands out because you get true homemade cooking. The place just feels warm and comfortable and everything there is just about three to seven dollars. Nice little find and great place to have lunch after visiting the Grotto of the Redemption.
