Description

Specialties

The Local Table is a Village Pub and Bistro that serves weekend brunch, dinner and pub fare, and, weekday breakfast and lunch. We prepare fresh meals using local ingredients and suppliers that reflect the flavors of New England. Our burgers were voted «Best in Acton» and are made of US raised, DNA traceback Angus beef. Our turkey and chicken are all natural and we seasonally source our vegetables from a local farm. Our brunch guests believe it is the best in Metrowest because they enjoy brioche french toast, crepes, homemade hash, omelets and Cuban pressed sandwiches. Dinner entrees changes seasonally and the pub offers local craft beers, unique wines by the glass and specialty drinks. The Saturday night seasonal music series brings talented local artists to perform in this intimate venue.

Lunch offers homemade soups, quiches, salads and hearty sandwiches. Restaurant quality catering is delivered to businesses and families, and, the dining room is available for private functions.

Meet the Business Owner

Rose S.

Business Owner

Rose is an Acton resident who wanted to create a neighborhood place for good honest food, drinks and music. Her passion for cooking comes from her Italian heritage where her family ate only what was fresh from grandfather’s garden. She and her staff select, create and prepare foods that are all natural and free of artificial ingredients, preservatives or additives. She has lived in Acton for 20 years, sent three children through the school system and was an Opinion and Perspectives columnist for The Beacon for four years. Prior to the Local Table she was a high tech entrepreneur and CEO, a non-profit CEO and Managing Director of a services company for in-home child and adult care.

Rose believes that the working conditions and wages of restaurant workers should be improved. She is a member of organizations that support legislation to increase the minimum wage and allow hourly workers the right to time off for illness. Staff at The Local Table are paid a living wage.
