Amazing Quiche and croissants. Wow. It’s small but quaint and has amazing pastries. Must go and try the raspberry croissant or the chocolate croissant or the pecan roll. All the dough is made fresh daily and baked right there. Freshest Deliciousness.

a go-to place for lunch. Very reasonably priced, nice people, and delicious food. The spinach and feta quiche is an office favorite. For $ 7, one gets what they call a half a sandwich and salad or soup, but in reality it is a whole sandwich. Quiche and salad is same price. Wraps, sandwiches, scones, cookies, all terrific. Just be sure to bring cash or check, they don’t take credit or debit cards.

This is a quaint little bakery tucked in the heart of Wellesley. It’s been such a long-time since I’ve experienced such great customer service. Even though I wanted something to drink they didn’t have on the menu, the girl out front went back to find it for me in their kitchen… on the house! I believe this may be owned by a girl and her mother. The spinach quiche and apple pastry were fantastic. I was a little sad they didn’t have espresso drinks, but the customer service and and food made up for that!

I work down the street from this cute bakery. Their food is soo good and it’s always fresh. They make their bread fresh everyday and it’s always so soft. I love their cookies and other baked goods as well. The people who own it are so sweet too. Whenever I want something healthy, I order from here.

I work nearby and come here pretty regularly for breakfast and lunch. Everything is always very fresh and well priced. Their soups are great, and they have daily specials that are always yummy. My favorite is their Ham and mushroom quiche! Great to go meal. Also the bakery snacks like croissants cookies(my favorite is the Lindzer torte) are delicious and baked fresh. Highly recommend this cute bakery.

A real gem. Super casual and quick. My favorite is the roasted chicken(it’s warm) over garden salad. Generous portion of chicken and veggies(including avocado). Tuna salad is also good. My daughter loves their muffins and they are tasty. I have yet to try the soup but there’s always a great selection. Cash or check only and it gets very busy at lunch so seating is limited but clearly lots of people do takeout.

I work down the street and went in for the first time for lunch. I got the spinach and feta quiche with a garden salad and it was delish. I did not know that don’t except debit cards, only cash or check, neither I had on me. The woman was so kind and trusting she told me to come back later or tomorrow and pay. Of course I went back as soon as I finished my lunch to pay. I will definitely be back for another lunch… with cash! :)

Great gluten free options. Definitely a case where you definitely like you’re sacrificing taste or quality. Lots of choice from vanilla to chocolate to red velvet. Great«artisan» cupcakes, albeit a bit pricey at $ 4.50 each for singles. When we were there the entire place was full with a birthday party, but they still accommodated us.

Scones — the best! My favorite are the cranberry with almonds on top. Sometimes they sell out very fast. Organic Coffee — wow! Great salads.

This is truly a hidden restaurant in main area of Wellesley. The décor is minimalistic and don’t let the look of the restaurant turn u off because the food is fabulous. WB serves mostly wraps and salads. The food is very fresh. The turkey is oven roasted, juicy sand fresh. Some of the best wraps in the greater boston area and none are pre made.

Me and my family go here almost every weekend for breakfast. They have good muffins and croissants but besides that they do not sell much else. They are by far the best bakery in Wellesley.

Downtown Wellesley is definitely cute, and we therefore thought that there should be a cute little café too! Well this bakery is fine, there really isn’t anything wrong with it – the service was great, she was very nice, made us fresh coffee instead of giving us old coffee, etc. But there just was something off about this place for me and I kind of thought they would have more bakery/pastry options than what they had. I mean if you call yourself Wellesley Bakery, the name sake of the town, I would think that you would have pretty big shoes to fill, and I don’t think that you really actually filled them up quite right. Our coffee was fine and cheap which is awesome. Then we got their last pecan roll of the day around 2pm on a Saturday – I guess they don’t stock up on too many pastries, and it was pretty good, the pecans especially, but nothing to write home about if you know what I mean. It did fill the hole in Matt J’s stomach craving a dessert, but I found it pretty easy to avoid stealing pieces of his pastry which if it were that good of a pastry then I would have had much more difficulty ha ha Overall, this place is fine, but I don’t know if I would venture back necessarily. I mean I would think there are better options in Wellesley?

CASHONLY! I looked at the reviews before we went and no one mentioned this. I had to leave my three kids sitting there with the food we had already ordered while I ran around the town in search of an ATM. I had the quiche and carrot ginger soup. The quiche was so so and rather rubbery while the soup was inedible as it tasted as though they used an entire 5 lb bag of sugar to season it. The soup was horrible! My son had a ham and cheese sandwich, very mediocre, nothing special about it. My daughter had a ham and cheese croissant which she said was fine. I would not go back.

So I got the turkey club wrap today, and it was just ok. The wrap itself I feel like is what made it pretty bland. I feel like I could make a much better wrap myself at home easily. Also got a cookie which was again nothing special, but by no means bad. The décor is really shabby, very little selection, and I found the place almost off putting. Borderline 2 stars, I would not make a special trip here for any reason…

My mother and I go just about every time I’m out in Wellesley to see her. Every time, we leave repeating, «We’re so lucky to have this in Wellesley» or «what we would do without Wellesley Bakery.» I love the special roasted chicken salad and mom(who eats gluten but not meat) love the California wrap and their baked goods. Don’t miss their soups, either. And thank the lovely women who run the counter for such a delicious, reasonable lunch in this town.

I was getting a cheap haircut across the street around lunchtime today. I overheard one mother telling another about the great soups there. Made me hungry so I went over to try the place out. I was delighted. i ordered the soup and sandwich special(½ sandwich Chicken, turkey or Tuna and small soup) I ordered the Tuna salad on French bread and Purée of Mushroom soup. $ 6 and change. A very satisfying lunch and everything was freshly prepared. Great place for quick lunch near center of town — 4 or 5 tables with seating for two. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Lot’s of bakery stuff too. Being close to Thanksgiving they were taking orders for pies.

Tucked away in the center of Wellesley, the Wellesley bakery is a great place to get your sweet on! They make the BEST pear tarts I have ever had. It so moist and good that thinking about it makes my lips quiver. I believe that if you want this pie you will need to give them an advanced notice. It is one of their signature holiday items. ITS A MUST have. Cookies, muffins, and other pies are great additions as well.

Usually, I’ve experienced good roll-up sandwiches here, but today, I’m hungry, and it’s because I couldn’t even eat the sandwich I ordered here. Yes, it was $ 6.25(a great deal for half a sandwich and homemade soup), but what’s price if it’s inedible? They were out of bread, so it was put on a stale roll-up, and though it was supposed to be tarragon chicken it tasted like chopped chicken with Lowery Salt — nothing like Tarragon! Maybe it was an off day? I couldn’t eat more than one bite. Other times I’ve been here, I’ve ordered the turkey roll-up or tuna salad, and it’s been just fab. Service is very friendly, and as mentioned, the prices are very reasonable.
