Hudson Barks

Our family brought our rescue pup to Hudson Barks, by word of mouth. We met with Jennifer, and she instantly connected with our dog! Hadley was having minor behavioral issues, but before we knew it, with the proper commands, she nailed it!!! Hudson Barks, is an awesome establishment. Jennifer, and her staff are awesome. We used Jennifer to help us prepare our yorkie Benjamin for his therapy dog certification test. Benjamin is 6 years old and incredibly stubborn! I did not think he could be trained! Jennifer was absolutely great with him. She worked with us until Benjamin had his commands down pat!
Jennifer’s love and knowledge of dogs is evident in her training style. Working with Jennifer was an absolute pleasure!

«I am a Certified dog walker, and owner of two amazing and loving dogs. A pit bull and a 16 year old maltese teacup. I have had my dogs since they were puppies and I have hired trainers in the past. For a long time I have contemplated going to school to become a dog trainer but I wasn’t convinced based on observations from other trainers. Jennifer made herself available to come meet with us and our new rescue Rudy in our home on his second day here with us in the house. He put the two of us and a very shy dog at ease — helping a scared former stray out of his shell a little and teaching us about providing positive reinforcement and how best to continue basic socialization and training. Her follow-​up and homework assignments have arrived quickly, are concise, and, I think, will be manageable.
We fully intend to work with Jennifer again because after only one session we are all much more comfortable with each other. We also appreciate her willingness to be available for future questions («once a client, always a client»); and her ability to offer advice in terms of vets, licenses, and having a pooch here in Jersey City. LOVE Hudson Barks! Very dog and owner friendly. Jennifer helped our baby learn how to follow house rules. She helped us teach him simple commands and helped us with the crazy barking. Our Boston Terrier is friendlier and happier. We were so happy with Jennifer that she also walks our baby when we are at work. She is honest and reliable. I highly recommend Hudson Barks!!!
