What’s better than food made from scratch? That’s right, NOTHING.

Growing up I remember using only natural ingredients like real fruits and fresh dairy to make the best treats with my family.

Now, after years of wonderful memories in the kitchen, I have decided to share the Latin flavors I grew up enjoying with YOU.

How will we do this? We will have our fabulous treats available at local farmers’ markets and offer catering for all your social events. Whether it be a wedding, birthday party, corporate event, baby shower, bridal shower, etc… We can provide a unique flavor experience for you and your guests!

History

Established in 2011.

Ever since I could remember, cooking was an integral part of everyday life. I was fortunate enough to enjoy amazing Ecuadorian dishes every night with my family. And who was always given dessert duty? This girl right here!

My mission was to create a perfect sweet ending to our family meal. So, I used the ingredients available in the fridge and pantry and recreated my mother and grandmother’s recipes with a modern twist of my own. Rest assured, everyone was always pleasantly surprised and begging for more of my yummy treats!

Cholita Dessert Bar is the result of wanting to create hybrid desserts made from the delicious flavors of Ecuador and classic American favorites. The word cholita is an endearing term used to describe a female in Ecuador. It is special to me because my father has always called me his «Cholita».
