Houston Party Playland

Place is great for preschoolers, clean enough and has a lot of space. I hope that there’ll be more play structures/​zones in the future, maybe some activity boards on the walls.
Suggestion to the owners: equip entry/​exit gates by the reception with child-​secure locks (out of kids’ reach) so they couldn’t leave the play area on their own. It’s cheap but very effective, giving parents some peace of mind

My daughter, 2, has had only positive experiences here. Although she was not technically 3, she was able to play on the other available playground for older kids. There are a variety of toys available from tge slides to a zipline, to electronic rides and playhouse areas.
Note: any bad experiences I have had were not under the control of the establishment, but rather the inattentiveness of a couple adults to the children. Please remember that the establishment is not a babysitter. By all means, let them play, but do try to keep a watchful eye.
My only complaint towards the locale thus far is that each time we have been, there is very limited staffing. However, this may nog be all that surprising as I believe they have not yet been open a year. Overall, great experience and now they offer discounted pricing for multiple visit package. Found this place about a month ago and it’s been a great place to go on cold or rainy days. Seems to be well organized. The staff helps maintain order. Their open everyday of the week, which is convenient.

We went to Party Playland today after just moving to Houston last month. I saw the reviews for it and figured it is a kids place so my four year old and I went to play. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant, my son actually made one of the bears which would have cost 50.00 at Build-​a-​bear and I paid 20.00 here so that was a great deal. The place is very clean and my son had a great time. I think for people to write negative reviews are insulting considering it is a kids place not for adults. If your kid hates it fine, but do not degrade someone’s living by writing erroneous comments.

My sister has created a wonderful place for children to have fun. That was her main goal as a mother and entrepreneur, give the kiddos a safe, fun place to play. I love to bring my own two children here and every time we pull up, they are excited to play. I’m so proud of my sister for creating such a wonderful environment for children!

We love this indoor play gym and typically go a few times a month. It’s great for younger kids! However, I’m leaving three stars because I was going to book my three year old’s birthday, and the prices are outrageous. $ 250 for only 12 kids, and that doesn’t even include pizza or water. An extra $ 25 charge if we want to order pizza through them. Very disappointing. Something more realistic would be $ 250 with food/​drinks included AND 20 kids. Compared to jump n jungle, you just don’t get enough bang for your buck!

Called just to get party information and I got put on hold for 15 minutes. Where did you go? Eventually the lady got back to me and when she did I feel like I was a nuisance for asking my questions. I rarely have outside birthday parties but with this experience, I may never come here.
Side note: Your website says no outside food or drink yet underneath it it says you can pay a fee to bring in outside food. Can we or not?

Great place for younger kids to get some physical activity and play with friends. Our son makes friends easily and just starts playing with other boys when we go to this place.
I wish they have a little bit better setup for the waiting parents… the tables and chairs are good and in the right direction. How about a coffee station? Coffee always sounds good when you’re waiting for your kids to finish their activity…

Not a whole lot for the older children (4+ years old). They’ve got a big play place for them but that’s about it. All in all, my 6yo son had fun there but 3 stars because $ 8 is pricey for access to only one thing.

Omg this place was so great… the operations of the establishment was well over my expectations… everything is just so organized from the time u walk in to the time u leave… definitely will be going back

Went back yesterday. They are now offering a $ 50 VIP pass that gets you 10 visits!

I took my son here the second week it opened. It was mid-​afternoon on a weekday so it was not busy at all. There are 3 different play areas. One area is for toddlers up to 18 months, another area was for ages 18 months to 4 years old and the other area was all ages. There was also a small bounce house near the front. None of areas area enclosed. It sort of looks like a big warehouse converted into a play place for kids. There are wide open spaces, benches with tables attached (school cafeteria style), a few cushioned chairs, tables with chairs and a vending machine area. It’s not bad but not the greatest. I noticed that only one person was working when we got there. She didn’t mention anything about kids needing their shoes off in the play areas. I was the one who brought it up (bc we’re used to it from other places). Later, as my son went into the all ages play area, I noticed that some of the kids were wearing shoes and some weren’t so I guess the «no shoes policy» is not enforced at all. I also noticed that some parents were too busy on their phones to pay attention to their kids. I saw one child that was clearly too young to be in the all ages area (without an adult) and he got stuck on the second level and just kept crying. Later, I saw him once again in the trampoline area crying because he couldn’t get out.
In the all ages area there area 3 levels to go up. There is a tube slide, a regular slide, a trampoline area, a rock wall type inclined wall, a bridge and an area were kids can zip-​line down a short distance.
The 18M-​4YOA area had toy cars, a carousel type swing thing, little play houses and other toys that I think toddlers will enjoy. The «baby» area is more like soft mats and short slides made out of those foam covered blocks and stuff. Fun for the little ones but once your child is walking and running pretty well (1 YOA+), they might have more fun in the 18M-​4YOA area.

I brought my 2.5 year old daughter here on a rainy Saturday afternoon to try it out since I had heard rave reviews. I’m not sure if we choose a bad day to come or what, but the experience was less than stellar. On the play equipment labeled for kids 18mo-​4yrs, there were tons of 10 – 12 year old kids running around all rowdy paying no attention to the smaller kids. My daughter got shoved around and pushed over a few times to the point that she was too scared to get any where near the playground. So we go to the other area with some little structures and toys. Again, too many older and disrespectful kids that would come over and yank a toy out of my daughter’s hands. So we ended up in the «baby» play area with some little foam structures for them to climb on. My daughter liked it well enough but for spending $ 8 and only ending up there about 45 minutes, it wasn’t worth it. Overall I’d be willing to give it another chance and maybe come back on a weekday morning.

Very fun and cool place with a lot of selection for all ages! My son had a blast. I gave 4 stars because I think they need more selection for adults like a coffee shop, and take out the candy from their stand!

My 11month old had a good time in the infant section. Also my 4 yr old loved the trampoline and jungle gym. Great place for all ages. Definitely will be back to play.

I give it 5 stars for toddler/​preschool fun. I would like to give 3 stars for the party set up so I figure 4 is in the middle. We had a party there this past Saturday. I would say it’s for 5 and under.
The positives: The kids loved the play area. They never got bored, some kept playing right after the pizza and missed some cake! The daily price is affordable, it’s spacious and very clean. They have helpful staff in the jungle gym type area to help find your kids in the maze. I paid to have Minnie Mouse there and she was great! The kids LOVED her. She was a really cute Minnie Mouse and took cute photos with the kids. They let us stay in our party area longer at no extra charge to make up for the below issues.
The negatives: Just a note, these negatives could be fixed easily and I’m sure comes with experience in having a business… I give them the benefit of the doubt bc it’s such a new business. I opted for the food through the venue for the party (I was trying to make it easy on myself) and the pizzas were about 50 mins late. When the food finally arrived we had no plates (I also paid for the $ 50 decoration). It may have been an accident that we had no plates but I think stocking up on some extra plates, napkins, utensils from Sam’s will go a LONG way. When it was time for cake we ended up running to Big Lots to make sure we had enough napkins and plates (they did end up finding some extra plates for us in the back). But we had to ask more than 2 people numerous times.
With all this the kids still had fun, but us as the hosts were just a little embarrassed at the food being so late and it being a bit unorganized.
However, we will definitely be going back for play time!

We attended the grand opening yesterday. The kids had a lot of fun climbing in the gym thingie and jumping in the bouncy house. They have food & drink available for purchase. They have two party rooms you can rent for birthday parties. I can see how this place will be popular, especially in the summer when it’s too hot to play outside. We’ll come again (the kids didn’t want to leave!).

I have been here with my 3 grandchildren – ages 18 months to 5years. We came after their «soft opening «, & we were there today for their Grand Opening. The kids LOVE this place. The younger kids had a blast in the baby area and the toddler area. My older one loved the «Playland” – there are tunnels, slides, trampoline, & even a zip line there. There are tables where you can sit & have snacks. The owner & staff are very helpful & willing to go the «extra mile» to help out with making sure your kids have a good experience. They also do birthday parties, & I look forward to having birthday parties for the kids here.
