Got new tomatoes this week to plant in our garden and it was great to find these in the greenhouse where most had flowers on them! So happy to have Baumans so close by!

Great prices an variety on annuals and perennials. Also purchased fresh strawberries that were just picked. A few blemished ones in the mix but fresh ones are so delicate.

Unethical Christmas Tree Sales I bought a pre-cut, 7′ Frasier Christmas tree last week at Bauman’s for $ 49.68. The person pulled the tree out of their barn and baled it. When we went to put the tree up, we discovered that the trunk had a 30 degree angle at its base. I had to remove all the lower branches and a foot of the trunk before I could put it in a stand and the tree still fell over. It is obvious that the Bauman sales person knew that this tree was defective when it was harvested and it should have never been sold for $ 50. I am appalled by Bauman’s unethical behavior and would never buy or recommend them to anyone. Buyer Beware of Bauman’s.

I have shopped there every other week in the summer. Love their plants, and also love their fresh produce, nothing better then fresh picked tomatoes, fresh picked corn,. The berries are the best…

The only reason I go to this farm market is for their cheap gords($.69/each) to use as decoration in the fall-time. However, I would never purchase any of the food here. Every time I’ve gone in, all of the fruits and veggies are literally covered in bugs. Some items, like the peaches, you can barely see through the bugs to the fruit. Other items, like corn, have just a few buzzing around. But really… it’s very unappetizing and seems not up to standard health codes? I never see bugs on food at other markets. I’m all for farm markets and eating local, but I can’t bring myself to eat anything from here. I’m always surprised to see people in there shopping for food.
