History

Established in 2013.

Gary retired from the US Army in 2004 and Heike has been involved in teaching since the year 2000. In 2012 we decided to do what we truly enjoy… help people. We enrolled in and graduated from the Professional Massage Therapy Center in Springfield, Missouri. Not only did we gain an excellent education in many aspects of massage, but together, we logged over 400 hours working in the student clinic. We take that experience very seriously, it allows us to operate Serenity Spa and Wellness Center with considerable experience in bodywork. Together, we provide the balance we sought for Serenity Spa and Wellness Center.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Gary and Heike are just like you. We have been married for almo years, we’ve raised a family, and we’ve had previous careers. Gary retired from the US Army in 2004 and Heike has been involved in teaching since the year 2000. In 2012 we decided to do what we truly enjoy… help people. We enrolled in and graduated from the Professional Massage Therapy Center in Springfield, Missouri. Not only did we gain an excellent education in many aspects of massage, but together, we logged over 400 hours working in the student clinic. We take that experience very seriously, it allows us to operate Serenity Spa and Wellness Center with considerable experience in bodywork. Together, we provide the balance we sought for Serenity Spa and Wellness Center.

Gary’s education concentrated on Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, and Thai Massage in addition to Swedish Massage. His education also includes the completion of a strenuous process to become certified in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy.
